Sorry for the delay! The new build is ready. The focus of this build is a new type of character: juvenile delinquents!

Additions and Fixes
- I noticed that some people enjoy playing the game with the camera zoomed in as far as possible. I think this is a terrible idea, because it gives you a very poor view of your surroundings. I’ve added a new debug command to the debug menu; pressing the “T” key will cause the camera to switch to an “over-the-shoulder” viewpoint when fully zoomed in. Now maybe you weirdos who play with the camera zoomed in will actually be able to see what’s around you.
- Added a new background track to the game (that means adding 9 versions, one for each combination of atmosphere and sanity). When the schoolday begins, the player has a random chance of hearing the old track or the new track.
- Fixed bug that would prevent the circular saw from being labeled as a piece of evidence after using it to dismember a girl, making it impossible to avoid the police after using the circular saw to dismember a corpse.
- Fixed bug that would allow the player to carry corpses even if their Physical Education grade wasn’t high enough, if that corpse had been dropped off of a rooftop.
- Fixed bug that would prevent gloves from being incinerated, resulting in the police always arresting Yandere-chan even if she had worn gloves while killing.
- Fixed bug that allowed the player to carry a weapon and a corpse simultaneously.
- Added voiced lines for the armless demon. I mean, uh…the…totally normal guy.
- Moved the incinerator to a new location.
Delinquents
- Placed delinquent characters outside of the garbage disposal zone.
- Delinquents will shove you away if you get too close to them.
- Delinquents will raise their weapons and prepare for a fight if they see you wielding a weapon in their vicinity.
- Delinquents will lower their weapons if they see you lower your weapon.
- Delinquents will attack you if you get too close to them while wielding a weapon.
- Delinquents will run up to you and attack you if they see you dragging/carrying a corpse or a body part.
- Being attacked by a delinquent will result in a game over.
- Delinquents will not attack you if you are carrying a corpse inside of a cello case.
Discrete Corpse Transportation
- Added a cello case to the game.
- It is possible to wear the cello case on your back.
- It is possible to open and close the cello case.
- When the cello case is open, it is possible to place body parts or a katana inside of it.
- Added carry-able trashcans to the game.
- It is possible to place body parts inside of trash cans in order to carry the body parts discreetly and sneak them past delinquents.
What’s Next?
My currently objective is to make all clubs functional. That’s why I added delinquents to the game; otherwise, the Light Music Club’s benefit (a cello case) would not have seemed very useful. For now, I’ll continue to implement all club benefits. I hope that they will all be operational by March 15th! After the club benefits are all implemented, I’ll return to implementing all rival elimination methods.

Yandere Devpai, random question. Now that we can dismember students, will we have a Ms. Fortune (Skullgirls) reference? I mean, the game has references to other media, like Attack on Titan, One Punch Man, etc., and I was wondering that.

Talking of Skullgirls references, there should also be a Filia mode. Like, her hair already sort of exists in the game (Slender mode), her uniform might be a standard uniform, recolored to fit, and for easter egg-specific ‘Yandere action’… Hmm… Why not have her Ringlet Spikes around her, similar to that demon summoning effect, except ringlet spikes only exist for a limited time upon a press – like a second or two, and yan-chan cannot move while spikes are active. Also, if animation exists she could lie on the ground like Filia does.

I love your delinquents! It seems like they will serve a really useful function in the game, where at first I worried it was another example of something that seemed cool. I can’t wait for them to have routines at school. They’re all so cute and well designed! Shout out to everyone who helped with the art aspects!!! Though I think they would be even cuter with long sukeban style skirts but that is a little retro. (I mean gakuran and pompodour is also kinda retro, so.)

Will we be able to just push students off the roof around where the incinerator is and just dispose of them that way?
That would be a little unrealistic, as getting “nothing but net” into a relatively small, angled incinerator opening with a flailing body would be much harder than doing so into a rather open dumpster, meaning a bloody mess on the very probable chance that the person hits somewhere outside of the incinerator, and I don’t see her detailing the blood out of brick with a sponge mop.

I kind of like them there. I look forward to seeing what other ways he implements to get around them. If you think having to dismember bodies to get around them is tricky, perhaps you can just try to alter your murder schedule to avoid them 🙂

After watching your video of the delinquents it makes me want to watch an anime where the delinquent boss of a group of outcasts established her role as there boss by fighting her own mother on the schoolroof. In the bloody battle they both fall off the railing where they land behind of the building. Though still injured the daughter in her hatred ignores her injurers and sits above the mother preventing her from fighting back. Bringing forth a barrage of fists and blood all the daughter sees in her mind is the face of the man who left them in a time of miserable confusion. The mother lives (barely) but leaves her daughter giving her no home to return to. The outcasts and the daughter make there own base in the city near the school and build themselves facility’s to fit there needs such as the basics plus a garden, spa, game room, and an actual ducking bar with gambling to provide income. the entire anime is about this group of people building a place to call there own while defending it from rivaling gangs in the area.
Thank you Yandere dev for building your game, if you hadn’t I would not have found the desire to find this anime somewhere in the online world.

I think pressing the keyboard button number 1 helps (I haven’t played the update yet, but this is how taking off gloves works if you don’t want to change them at the locker) 😄

Joining the club near the running tracks should give you the ability to wear a helmet (like baseball games etc) in order to avoid being hit by a deliquent and falling in coma.

And also please make the nurse and headmaster become the live persons (thanks for Osana, btw). It would be more realistic and exciting again if Yandere-chan take the syringe and caught by nurse, she will be running towards us, slap, then reclaim the needle. She also will report you to the headmaster and before that happens, definitely interesting if we could threaten her, not kill. Then for headmaster, please made she walking around at school to oversee students, so it will be difficult for us to kill more! XD Uum, sorry for my bad english…
The nurse will be active eventually, but DevPai says that we’ll never meet the headmaster. (IIRC he also said that he chose not to add bags for the students because it caused “clipping” in the animations … maybe he will find a way around that by the final game though?)
