July 15th Bug-Fixing Build

The previous build didn’t have any critical bugs in it, but it did have two very easy-to-notice bugs that a lot of people were reporting, and it’s tradition to release updates on the 15th, anyway, so I decided that it was the right time to release another bug-fixing build.

I was hoping to have knocked multiple tasks off the pre-crowdfunding checklist by July 15th, but instead, I spend the majority of the last 2 weeks on bug fixes. I feel really disappointed about that, and I hope that I don’t have to deal with as many bugs in the second half of July.

July 13th Bug-Fixing Build

Ack! I made a dumb mistake in the last build that resulted in the crafting workbench becoming inaccessible. I’m so sorry about that! Here’s a new build with that problem resolved, along with several other issues addressed, as well.

July 11th Bug-Fixing Build

There were some bugs in the previous build that weren’t completely game-breaking, but were being noticed and reported by a lot of people, so I’ve decided to release a new build with all of those issues fixed.

July 7th Bug-Fixing Build

Oops! There was a bug in the previous build that prevented the player from being able to complete the tutorial. That’s no good! Bugs that impact the tutorial are a super-high priority, since bugs like that would have a very significant impact on a new player’s first impression of the game. So, I decided to release a new build right away with the tutorial bug fixed, along with a handful of other fixes and improvements as well.

July 6th Update

Usually, I only update the game on the 1st and 15th days of the month…but, I’m making an exception today.

My next tasks involve changing the way that the camera works, changing the way that the game handles controller input, and potentially, and changing the way that the game handles save data. If I screw up, a lot of things could break. So, before uploading a new build with those changes, I want to upload a build that is as stable as possible, so that you have a build to “fall back” to, if the next build has stability issues.

So, with that in mind, I’m releasing today’s build: a build that is (hopefully) as stable as possible, with a lot of bugs fixed, and some new features that you might be interested in checking out!
