January 15th Bug-Fixing Build

Hi! You might be curious why I’ve been releasing so many new builds so frequently! I’ll explain.

If a bug that prevents progression through the game is discovered, I must fix it and release a new build as soon as possible. I don’t want anyone’s first impression of Yandere Simulator to be, “Huh? My character froze! I’m stuck!” or anything along those lines. Over the past 10 days, various progression-stopping bugs were discovered and reported, so I’ve been releasing builds much more often than usual. I would prefer to release builds much less frequently…but, if a critical, game-breaking bug is discovered, I must fix it and upload a new build that day.

I know I say this every time, but: hopefully, with this build, there will be no more game-breaking bugs, and we’ll return to the original update schedule of “new builds on the 1st and 15th every month.” (But, of course, it’s still possible that more game-breaking bugs could be discovered and reported, so daily updates might continue for a few more days…)

A lot of people have been asking me the same questions recently, so I’m going to include a short “Frequently Asked Questions” segment at the bottom of this blog post. If you have a question about the game, please read the rest of this post; your question might be answered there.

January 12th Bug-Fixing Build

There were a couple of bugs in the last build which felt like very significant issues that I should fix right away, so I’ve prepared a new build.

As always, I’ll provide a list of everything that was added / changed / fixed in the latest update…but, first, let me share something with you!
