I’m sorry.

Hi. You’ve probably heard some really concerning stuff over the last few days. You might have seen a video that has left you feeling worried, disappointed, and wondering what I have to say for myself.

There’s a part of me that wants to say, “No, you don’t understand, the video was edited in an extremely dishonest and misleading way, blah blah blahโ€ฆ” but, no, I’m not going to focus on that.

There’s a part of me that wants to do what I usually do, and type out a massive essay where I over-explain absolutely every single detail about the entire situation, provide context to absolutely everything, go point-by-point down the list of every possible fact that could make the situation easier to understand.

But, no, I’m not going to do that. This isn’t a blog post about how, “Actually, you see, I didn’t really do anything all that bad, if you consider all the factsโ€ฆ” I’m just going to take accountability and own up to a really, REALLY huge fucking mistake that I’ve made.

September 19th Bug-Fixing Build

Hello!

There was a bug in the latest build that wasn’t absolutely game-breaking, but was definitely easy to notice. I don’t want people to waste their time reporting a bug that has already been fixed, so I’m uploading a new build with that issue resolved – along with various other improvements and fixes.

September Update Status Report

Hello!

I usually release a new build of the game on the 1st and 15th days of every month. However, I won’t be releasing a new build today.

I’ve made around 15 improvements and bug fixes to the game since the last build, so, potentially, I could just release a new build containing those changes…but I feel that the build would be underwhelming, since it doesn’t contain a “big new feature” or a significant amount of exciting new content.

I don’t want to release something that will just make you say, “Oh, that’s it? That’s all? Meh. I don’t really care…” so, I feel like I should just keep working on the game, and not release a new build until I’ve got something I’m proud of that I really want to share with you.

In case you’re thinking, “Hey, wait a minute! Maybe there’s no build today because he hasn’t been working on the game, and hasn’t made any progress at all!” I’ll post a video of my recent progress on my Patreon, just to pre-emptively kill any potential conspiracy theories that I’m not actually getting any work done.
