A Japanese fan of Yandere Simulator has produced a video that is so cute, I just had to share it on my blog immediately:
It’s a parody of a video named “Kero” from 11 years ago. Want to hear an interesting coincidence? Earlier this month, I had this song stuck in my head, but couldn’t remember the name. At the exact moment that I was trying to remember the name of this song, somewhere out there in the world was working on a Yandere Sim fan video incorporating that exact song. The universe is funny sometimes!
Watching this video, I think it actually features every single student of 202X Mode. If the video’s creator actually managed to incorporate all 90 of 202X’s students into the video, that’s incredibly impressive!
Oh, you want a development update? I’ll say this: I’ve been getting very few bug reports recently, which means that I’ve been able to focus more time on my checklist items and less time fixing bugs. What a relief! (This also tells me that the game has finally become extremely stable and bug-free. That year of bug fixes really paid off!) Unless something important happens over the next 2 weeks, the next time you’ll hear from me will probably be March 31st for a blog post – and possibly a video – to discuss Yandere Simulator’s 9th anniversary of development.
Hello! The past 2 weeks have been very productive. I knocked a lot of items off of my pre-crowdfunding checklist. Some are only half complete, since they are reliant on some other checklist item in order to be 100% complete, but I’m really happy with the process I made.
I’ve prepared a list of everything that was changed or fixed over the past two weeks – but first, I want to share something with you! An artist named Momo_Fujimi created a 24-page manga about Himari from the Gardening Club giving chocolate to all of the other students in class 3-1:
It’s a super cute and sweet manga, and it makes a lot of use of trivia that I have shared about the students over the years, such as the fact that Borupen’s favorite flavor is grape.
Please read the whole thing, because it’s absolutely adorable!

On August 1, 2019, I released “Retribution”, a short manga that revealed the origins and motivations of “Nemesis”, the mysterious girl who hunts and kills Ayano in Mission Mode. Three years later, on March 19th, 2022, I released a sequel to that manga – a continuation of the story. It ended on a cliffhanger, with Ayano and Nemesis about to battle. I’m proud to announce that, after one year, Chapter 3 is ready!
Chapter 1 was 7 pages long, and Chapter 2 was 24 pages long. Chapter 3 is just a tiny bit shorter at 21 pages, but every one is packed with action! I really hope that you’re going to enjoy reading it!
(It’s formatted in the style of a traditional Japanese manga, so remember to read the panels from right to left!)
As you can see in the blog posts where each chapter of the manga was announced, the first two chapters of Retribution were translated into TWENTY different languages! A testament to the fact that no matter how many years pass, Yandere Simulator retains passionate fans all over the world! Just like before, foreign fans of the game are welcome to translate chapter 3 and e-mail me a link to a zip file containing all of the translated pages.
And, to make it easier for you, here’s a link to Chapter 3 without any words in the speech bubbles:
Some users reported a bug that was making the corkboard sequence play in the daytime or play in 1980s Mode, which wasn’t intentional. I couldn’t actually replicate those bugs! However, I put in some code to manually force the game out of that situation if it ever somehow happens. I feel that it was important to release a new build with that adjustment as quickly as possible, so here’s a new build.
