Delinquents in Yandere Simulator

Sorry for the delay! The new build is ready. The focus of this build is a new type of character: juvenile delinquents!

This video will tell you everything you need to know about how delinquents operate in Yandere Simulator:

Additions and Fixes

  • I noticed that some people enjoy playing the game with the camera zoomed in as far as possible. I think this is a terrible idea, because it gives you a very poor view of your surroundings. I’ve added a new debug command to the debug menu; pressing the “T” key will cause the camera to switch to an “over-the-shoulder” viewpoint when fully zoomed in. Now maybe you weirdos who play with the camera zoomed in will actually be able to see what’s around you.
  • Added a new background track to the game (that means adding 9 versions, one for each combination of atmosphere and sanity). When the schoolday begins, the player has a random chance of hearing the old track or the new track.
  • Fixed bug that would prevent the circular saw from being labeled as a piece of evidence after using it to dismember a girl, making it impossible to avoid the police after using the circular saw to dismember a corpse.
  • Fixed bug that would allow the player to carry corpses even if their Physical Education grade wasn’t high enough, if that corpse had been dropped off of a rooftop.
  • Fixed bug that would prevent gloves from being incinerated, resulting in the police always arresting Yandere-chan even if she had worn gloves while killing.
  • Fixed bug that allowed the player to carry a weapon and a corpse simultaneously.
  • Added voiced lines for the armless demon. I mean, uh…the…totally normal guy.
  • Moved the incinerator to a new location.

Delinquents

  • Placed delinquent characters outside of the garbage disposal zone.
  • Delinquents will shove you away if you get too close to them.
  • Delinquents will raise their weapons and prepare for a fight if they see you wielding a weapon in their vicinity.
  • Delinquents will lower their weapons if they see you lower your weapon.
  • Delinquents will attack you if you get too close to them while wielding a weapon.
  • Delinquents will run up to you and attack you if they see you dragging/carrying a corpse or a body part.
  • Being attacked by a delinquent will result in a game over.
  • Delinquents will not attack you if you are carrying a corpse inside of a cello case.

Discrete Corpse Transportation

  • Added a cello case to the game.
  • It is possible to wear the cello case on your back.
  • It is possible to open and close the cello case.
  • When the cello case is open, it is possible to place body parts or a katana inside of it.
  • Added carry-able trashcans to the game.
  • It is possible to place body parts inside of trash cans in order to carry the body parts discreetly and sneak them past delinquents.

What’s Next?

My currently objective is to make all clubs functional. That’s why I added delinquents to the game; otherwise, the Light Music Club’s benefit (a cello case) would not have seemed very useful. For now, I’ll continue to implement all club benefits. I hope that they will all be operational by March 15th! After the club benefits are all implemented, I’ll return to implementing all rival elimination methods.

    • Ok just one little question, why doesn’t exist fire weapons (guns, rifles, shotguns, however) in the game yet? I know, It’s crazy having guns in a school but it should be really pratical for yandere-chan to kill some students with a feel tiny guns.

      • Yandere Simulator is a stealth game. Adding guns into a stealth game is stupid as the loud “Bang!” From a gun will only attract other people’s attention.

    • Dismember all the occult members in the circle in the occult room. AIT doesn’t work always but keep trying

    • Kill everyone who is in that club, drag their bodies to the circle, and then dismember them. And bam, you get some powers. Oh! and to kill them first, use the ritual knife 🙂

  5. I think there is a bug, when u trying to make a photo of anyone’s face. That character freezes and stand still till the end of the day, and there is no way to interact with him.

  10. Great great great great! :3 Even though I can’t play the game right now (everything crashed. Everything.), I’m happy about every update. Can’t wait for the first rivals to be implemented, even if it’s a long time until then. And I’m super exited for the delinquent rival. She looks so damn cool! I don’t think I could ever kill her (It’s love on first sight, even though I don’t know her face, plus, I’d be way too scared by her gang), so I’ll have to find someone equally badass for her.

  11. Hi, Yanderedev. I have a question on mind: could be possible to hide a torso in a garbage bag? I think it wold be too bulky and heavy. And maybe the student carrying it, most the female ones, would inspect te bag to see why it is so heavy. Just something that crossed my mind. Thank you for your efforts, you are doing a great job!   12. Maybe delinquents should have different, like, reputation requirements to start talking to you normally. For instance the one that has orange-ish bangs would be the nicer one, like, talking to you when you’re baaaaaarely in negative zone. And the one with red mask would be the head bitch in charge while Delinquent-chan is away, and as such, would require very low reputation, but once Delinquent-chan is back, she would lower her bar of standards. Or higher, I dunno how to put it

    • Yandere Dev said that he would only implement Osana chan when he has 5 interactions between her and Senpai complete, but in order to do so he needs the animation rig for Senpai. By the way the girl under the tree in the school plaza is not Osana its Rival chan.

  14. I think the delinquents should slap the phone out of Yandere-Chans hands whenever she tries to take a photo of them. She phone wouldn’t be broken, but she’d have to pick it up and she wouldn’t have the photo she was trying to get.
    Also, I like the Idea another person posted here/on Youtube, that the Evil personality would try to vandalise the school by trowing trash everywhere (and then maybe find some body parts in it), because I feel like the different personalities should be more apparent and important and shouldn’t just be noticeable when someone takes a photo or kills in front of them.

    I really enjoy this game so far, thanks for working so hard on it!

  15. So the delinquent leader is stronger than Budo? Speaking of Budo wonder if it would be possible to get him to follow you, get attacked by delinquents and get Budo to fight them, while your taking photos to blackmail him of course.

  24. YandereDev you said you want to add benefits for clubs? I have great idea for the demon summoning to work you have to join the Occult Club also why not make some of the characters you have leaders of the club like make Kokona the leader of Cooking Club.

  26. I’m not that excited for the release of delinquents, but some of the most ANNOYING glitches I’ve experienced, you fixed in this build. But I’ve came across some new bugs.
    -When I try to summon a demon, doing all the steps correctly, it didn’t seem to work
    – When you put a camera in a girl students face, she will freeze and stand in the same spot for the whole day
    – After playing for a while, I realized that the music in the Easter eggs and just throughout the whole school was skipping and sounding staticky.
    – My game crashed a lot, and I had a lot of lag
    But don’t worry, this is still an amazing game and I will be following the development of Yandere Simulator!

    -can’t drop cello case (it’s too big to be a cello case tho)
    -girls glitch out when you point the camera at them (they look at you wherever you go) and can’t interact with them after that
    -laggy but I guess that’s normal for a new build??

    Will try to send pics or videos about these bugs I encountered

    • There are 5 “interaction” or dates that they have! So it would take 50 animations and stuff… For all the rivals!

  32. I love this game.
    I had a question about the weekends. Will the final game have them as a mini game function were the player can go into town without being late to school. To shop and spy on Sempi. Or find out ‘important information’ about other NPCs?
    Or are weekends just going to be skipped over entirely?

  40. This is one of the best updates yet! Turning unsuspecting students into corpse disposal helpers is brilliant and twisted! I love it!

    Another poster suggested the idea of students carrying trash bags with body parts inadvertently discovering the bits which is also a cool idea. It would add a nice bit of balance and uncertainty to using this strategy for corpse disposal and it would potentially kill atmosphere without putting Yandere-chan in danger of discovery.

    Also, I am eager to meet the delinquent rival. The strongest student? Sounds like even with a maxed physical state, Yandere-chan would be in for a major fight taking her on directly. Yet I can see a cool possibility brewing of taking over the gang.

    Every update just makes me want the finished game more!

  43. I think its a little too tedious to carry one body part at a time via the trashcan, not to mention the trashcan was a decent size. Maybe limit it to 3-4 pieces at a time so you have to make 2 trips but not 6.

  50. ive managed to drop the cello case but how do you even not get caught when you cant destroy the circular saw you have to dismemeber now but you always get caught because of the saw
