February 17th Bug-Fixing Build

The changes I made in the Feb 15th update introduced some new bugs to the game. I’ve uploaded a new build that should fix those bugs! You can click “Continue Reading” to see a list of everything that was fixed and changed.

Fixes, Changes, and Additions

  • Changed the Occult Club’s daily routine. Now, instead of spending all day inside of their clubroom, they walk around school and attempt to research “The Seven Mysteries of Akademi High” – a series of urban legends that are associated with the school. Currently, you can only see them research 5 of the 7 mysteries. Can you guess what the other 2 are?
  • Added some new props to the school – a painting, some mirrors, a basketball, a piano, and an anatomical figure. These are connected to “The Seven Mysteries”. The 7 mysteries will play a larger role during Oka Ruto’s week at school.
  • Fixed bug that caused the “Find Locker” button prompt to display on a student’s profile if the player has backed out of the “Find Locker” menu without finding anyone’s locker.
  • Fixed bug that caused students to come to school with their feet clipping through their shoes, and the Student Council to wear the wrong type of shoes.
  • Adjusted pathfinding grid so that students might be more likely to walk down the center of a hallway instead of sticking to the walls.
  • Fixed bug that would cause students to travel to the Cooking Clubroom after they had received food from the Cooking Club.
  • Fixed bug that would cause Senpai to do a weird animation if anyone, anywhere at school was dying of poison.
  • Male Sports Club members’ bodies now have varying degrees of musculature (thanks to help from EpicMealDev).
  • Fixed bug that was preventing students from being able to drink from drinking fountains.
  • It is no longer possible to put a bloody box cutter into a cardboard box.

  4. I would love to see the female senpai option made available… I feel like a lot of people have forgotten about it. But I can’t wait to see what the 7 mysteries are! Such suspence! Much wow

Just a small suggestion; Can Yandere-Kun (Ayato) be more functional in the future? like Male VA, being able to go into the male bathrooms, etc. This is just a suggestion, you don’t have to add more work to your plate right now, but I think that will be a great little option. Really excited to see Kubz Scouts cover this!

  6. YanDev, please modify the voices of the boys when they get dirty with the bucket of water or receive a letter of ayano because instead of having a male voice comes out a female voice

  15. Read this comment Yandere Dev is important. In the next update of yandere simulator you can fix the bug on the electric guitar because the electric guitar turns white when you kill the students instead had to be black and blood so dirty the electric guitar you can do this favor Yandere Dev?

  18. just like how the sports club have unique swimsuits, can you give unique bikinis to the bullies? I feel like they wouldn’t want to wear the default swimsuit since they’d think it was hideous or something.

  26. I’ve seen how the Occult club moves throughout the school, but wouldn’t it be better for the gameplay if all five were to split up and go investigate different mysteries? Give the player more reason to be stealthy in their murder methods if there were people constantly wandering the school. Or perhaps make some of the current students take random trips to the bathroom, water fountains, lockers, classrooms, or clubrooms. Modify some current routines to give the player more of a difficulty killing people stealthily.

  28. I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem: Whenever I save my game and then load it, I randomly get apprehended. I tried switching from Mediafire to the launcher, but it still does it. Tried it on Mom’s laptop. Same results.

  30. It would be scary if
    -The Painting’s face expression depends on school’s atmosphere,Smiles when high,Straight when medium,Frown when low
    -The Piano plays itself at certain times
    -The anatomy in the nurses office looks at you when you take a picture at it
    -The mirror will show you disfigured when you take a picture of yourself in the mirror
    -The basketball can be seen moving around by itself at certain times

  32. Maybe one of the unknown mysteries will be the ghost in the bathroom, it could become a myth that students spread around at school during Oka’s week, when she hears of this, the whole club investigate the bathroom (the boys wait outside)
