February 18th Bug-Fixing Build

There were a few more bugs that I really wanted to fix, so here’s a new build!

Fixes, Changes, and Additions

  • Changed the Martial Arts Club’s daily routine; They now walk around school and practice martial arts in different locations. This increases the chance that they will become witnesses to your crimes.
  • Fixed bug that would cause a character (student or teacher) to walk in place indefinitely if they were splashed with water while investigating the sound of a giggle.
  • Adjusted the hedges in the center plaza so that it’s no longer possible for Yandere-chan to become trapped between a closed door and a hedge.
  • Slight adjustment to the “leave a note in a student’s locker” feature; adjusting which subjects are interesting to which students.
  • Adjusted the two mirrors at the top of the northeast staircase so that they are no longer rendering the game’s skybox.
  • Fixed bug that would cause the pipe wrench to hover in front of Yandere-chan’s hands when she was holding it.
  • Fixed bug that allowed Yandere-chan to get into a fight with a delinquent while changing clothing or bathing.
  • Fixed bug that would cause the bullies’ skin color to change if they were pushed off the school roof.
  • Added another Japanese garden to the school; this one is nearby the outdoor cafeteria area.
  • Fixed bug that caused “dripping wet with liquid” particle effects to display improperly.
  • Made a tiny tweak to Akademi High’s exterior. I wonder if anyone will notice? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

    • Hi, this is not a bug when they launched there was no way to talk to them and I do not think I’ll be able to talk in the future either.

      • THERE IS A WAY TO TALK TO THEM!!!!! Stop giving people false information. Yandere Dev said in the future we will be able to interact with them(compliments,tasks etc.). That thing just isn’t implemented yet smh 😒😤

  8. I have an idea that I think it would make the game a little more accurate, when we dump a bucket of water inside a restroom stall. In the future, when more people visit the restroom (you could actually make that random and have multiple people there at the same time during lunch break of something) you would not be able to electrocute them. For example, if a science club member gets drenched in water, they wouldn’t try to turn on the lights, and because of that, they would go to the locker room right away to change their clothes. Just an idea.

  10. You’ll probably need custom textures for the bullies in the nude and in their gym and uniform, plus I think that they should wear unique bikinis when wearing the swimsuit. A few other minor changes that I thought of:
    •The Basu Sisters will arrive to school next to each other and will use the walking and talking animation that the bullies use
    •Yan-Chan will wear an apron in addition to her kerchief after joining the cooking club
    •The cardboard box in the incinerator area is now in a more natural looking position, same with the garbage bag
    •Added bleach to the pool area, it didn’t have any before
    Just a few small suggestions that wouldn’t impact gameplay much but I think would improve the school’s general atmosphere

    • He will not add an apron for Ayano because it would have to be possible to take it off and it might also cut into some stuff.

  13. Read this comment Yandere Dev is important, the electric guitar does not get dirty with blood because it turns white the electric guitar when you kill the students you can fix this bug for the next update of yandere simulator please?

I know Yandere Dev works really hard on this game, trying to take this idea to its greatest potential, but does anyone else think some aspects of the game are kind of unrealistic and are put there solely to try to make the impression that the game is hard. Like, in reality, a martial arts club wouldn’t change locations every 3 MINUTES to practice. They might change locations, but not after so little time. Same with the science club, the girl walks down to the supply closet, every day, every FEW MINUTES. I feel like more realistic scenarios could be put into place, to make the game seem more realistic, like Hitman whose witnesses are usually there by convenience, usually TALKING to others instead of CONVENIENTLY moving around every three minutes to do the same thing. I just wanna see the game prosper, and I think this advice could help out if it’s applied.

      • I’m aware of that, but based on what the developer said he’s going for, I was suggesting that he could change a few things to make this game both dynamic, and something that makes sense. Obviously, the game isn’t 100% realistic, I mean for God’s sake the lead protagonist is an anime yandere girl with a made-up condition that makes her completely reliant on a random high school boy! But I do think the game could be improved, to make the player connect more with the plot and characters.

  18. Lol, I pity the youtubers which make a video to every updates XD I’m glad that my video about one hundred subscribers is taking a lot of time, because the next video will show all updates starting of the ability to poison every student food XD

      • Don’t worry it was a joke, I was joking about the bunch of new features that arrive in the game (I’m French maybe I didn’t use the good translation, but I don’t know if “I complain” is very english ^^’)

      • they just feel bad, as they have to make so many videos now, if they do one every update. (Still, good work on the progress Yandere dev)

    • Yeah, well, I don’t watch Bijuu Mike videos (I’m sure he’s a very funny youtuber), because he’s talking very fast for me, I don’t get everything he’s saying, so I watch only French youtuber on Yandere Simulator like Sora, Deolynk (well he doesn’t make video on Yandere Simulator as often as the past, because his crush, Mei Mio, isn’t in the game anymore) and when I see all their work, I think they are very tired after making all their videos

  19. I found a bug that sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t.
    When I speak or take a picture of one of the clubless guys (the clumsy one) he starts getting far from yan-chan and is killed by the gate method. It happened when the class was about to start, and it happens mostly on the rooftop.
    Does anyone also have this bug?

  22. I think the 6th mystery is the ghost in the bathroom and the 7th is the Japanese Garden . I also think that Oka was the only one in the Occult club that believed The Basu Sisters were monsters

  30. Here are my ideas on the mysterys
    1.The picture is the laughing Mona lisa, possibly fun girl
    2. The mirrors are where eren sees a ghost
    3. The basket ball is the headless basket ball player
    4. Panio is Beethoven’s 5th Symphony
    5. titan looking thing in the nurse’s office is probaly the two titans the chased Eren and Jean
    6. I feel like it is the bathroom ghost or something like the third stall bathroom ghost from the episode. It’s most likely the girl yandere chan’s mom first rivial
    7. They also have Reiner and Berthodlt going up many stairs but never getting anywhere. I don’t think that is the mystery and i don’t have any clues for it.

    It all seems to be a reference to attack on titan junior high.

  31. Yandere dev, I don’t know if this is a bug, it was taken out or I’m not doing it right but I did Kakona’s task and overheard the Saki conversation. However, when she comes to the roof, I can’t offer help. It only allows me to push. I don’t want to push Kakona, that’s for another time.

I’ve always had this problem and I’m sick of it always happening so I’m just going to come out in say it, so every single time I download a build of Yandere Simulator by downloading the launcher and downloading that way I’m always gotten the previous build. And I proved it by pushing Musume of the roof only to discover her tan was completely gone and that’s how I confirmed that I was in the previous build of yandere simulator. And I also knew that I was in the previous build because the occult club was roaming around like they were suppose to. Can someone at least tell me what downloading method I need to use to get the present build of Yandere simulator.

  38. YandereDev，I have a problem.When are you going to fix the foot model for each student in the game?Because I enter a school every time,see when students are changing a shoe,feel very awkward
