February 19th Bug-Fixing Build

Fixes, Changes, and Additions

  • When Yandere-chan dumps liquid or weights off the roof and presses the “Q” key (or the “B” button on Xbox controller), the player will see a little picture-in-picture camera view of the liquid/weights falling and hitting the ground (or its target).
  • Fixed bug that allowed Yandere-chan to dump something off of the school roof even if a fence was around the school rooftop.
  • Fixed bug that caused the Occult Club to spend eternity walking into their locked clubroom door if their closed down.
  • Fixed bug that would prevent liquid from being able to collide with a character standing in the outdoor cafeteria.
  • Updated the Martial Arts Club’s hair colors and eye colors, since their old colors always bothered me a little.
  • Fixed bug that would prevent liquid from being able to collide with a character standing behind the school.
  • Fixed bug that prevented Yandere-chan from being able to wear a lab coat after joining the Science Club.
  • Fixed bug that allowed the player to perform unsupported interactions with the Student Council.
  • Updated the texture for the painting in the Art Room (separate from the Art Club).
  • Fixed typo that caused headache poison to be labeled as “Emetic Poison”.
  • Fixed bug that broke the Martial Arts Cub’s sparring minigame.
  • Lowered the file size of some textures that were too big.

  4. I have something that was botherin me a little bit. Don’t you think that the boys must be a little taller than girls. I say this because YanSim is a game that all happen in a faculty, where young people becomes adults. What do you thin of that. And the martial arts boys need some muscle on their chest while they’re wearing the uwagi and zubon; like… they’re chest look really strange when you’re en their side you know??

    • There’s been one for a WHILE. When Oka had different hair, and Budo was implemented at about the same time, meaning a couple years. Its OK if your new. I am to, i just watched Jay’s videos.

  8. Yandere Simulator happens in high school, not in a college. I think you find it strange because of the clubs present in the game, in Japanese it is normal for the students to do some activity after school, you can see that because of the schedule they leave.

  12. I found a problem with the electrocution at the water fountain. A student will start walking towards the water fountain and then get stuck on an invisible wall and then will start spinning in circles. I’ve tested this on multiple water fountains and it happened on all of them. I don’t know if this is just a problem with my game, but I thought I would bring it up.

  18. This game is breathtakingly beautiful and I love how it’s all coming together! I wonder how Bijuu Mike is gonna react to the new martial arts club member’s hair?
    Again this game is awesome and really addicting to play because of how everything is being put together. I LOVE IT!

  22. lol when i was electrocuting a bully a teacher saw and went up to the body and i flipped the switch to turn it off but i guess i turned it back on and she died

  23. this game is looking good i saw u updated the boys dieing voice well i saw it on a youtube video well i was thinking if you added a town there should be a place our ally way hidden form people that sells weapons that you can’t get form school these weapons u will get u will need like a job as well ik you might not be able to make it GOOD JOB YANDERE DEV

  25. Hey! For YanSim’s new style, I think you should consider the concept that everything *seems* cute and pretty, maybe something similar to a shoujo. More realistic and mature styles might take away from that ‘facade’!

  26. Read this comment Yandere Dev is important, the electric guitar does not get dirty with blood because it turns white the electric guitar when you kill the students you can fix this bug for the next update of yandere simulator please?

  27. I have an idea.
    Instead of fucking around and adding “mods” and “easter eggs” to the game, implementing new features only to take them out and wasting peoples time, just finish the fucking game.

    • WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK HE IS DOING? He is working on the game 12 hours a day, the implementing new features isn’t “only to take them out later”, some features work and some don’t. You are rude and impatient and I have an idea:
      Instead of trying to bring him down and rush him, LEAVE HIM ALONE and think what he is sacrificing to develop. HE DOESN’T HAVE TIME TO WATCH ANIME GODDAMN IT and if you can’t understand the fact that he is a person with feelings.

    • Hey I have an idea, how about you pay attention to the condition he is in instead of looking on articles by Wikipedia? He is stressed out by accusations EXACTLY like that. He is working on all of the little details and features in the game BEFORE Osana. And if you think you are so speedy at making decent games, then you should do it. He adds easter eggs to have FUN, and he does not make mods, idiot.
