This gorgeous illustration from Noxina gives me an idea. I bet the sound of exploding fireworks could be used to mask a dying schoolgirl’s screams!

Clubs aren’t the only thing that’s new in this update. Here’s a full list of everything in this new build:
Bug Fixes
- Fixed some incorrect text that would display during the End-Of-Day / Police Investigation text while the police were investigating a murder-suicide.
- Fixed bug that would prevent a mind-broken slave from killing her victim unless the victim had stopped moving.
- Fixed bug that would cause dead students to emit hearts from their heads while dead.
- Fixed bug that would cause some “Student Info” portraits to be inaccurate.
- Fixed skirt clipping and eyebrow deformation in the Cirno easter egg.
- Fixed some more typos in the End-Of-Day / Police Investigation text.
Additions
- Added 6 new hairstyles and 3 new accessories for Yandere-chan, and also two new hairstyles for Senpai-kun. These hairstyles and accessories were commissioned by fans of the game, and modeled by Druelbozo!
- Added a special sequence somewhere inside of the school building.
- Added a tool shed with a new weapon inside of it.
- Added a hedge maze to the school grounds.
- Added more props to the Occult Club room.
- Added props in the Student Council room.
- Added a garden for the Gardening Club.
- Added 10 new collectible manga books.
- Added two new easter egg modes.
- Added props to the Art Room.
- Added 5 new students.
Changes
- A student who witnesses Yandere-chan commit murder will now refuse to speak to Yandere-chan in the future, and will damage Yandere-chan’s reputation on all subsequent days…until they die.
- Replaced the copyrighted song that played during the “Sukeban” easter egg with original music.
- Replaced the old small town test environment with a new small town test environment.
- Examining the cheese now causes something to happen somewhere else in the school.
- Changed the year that the game takes place in.
Clubs
- Club Leaders now wear a “Red Armband of Leadership” on their left arms.
- Some clubmembers will now enter a changing booth and change their clothing before engaging in a club activity. This was only possible because of help from Saracen!
- If the player speaks to a Club Leader who is in their clubroom, club-specific dialogue options will appear.
- The player can ask a Club Leader for information about their club, ask to join the club, ask to quit the club, or ask to participate in club activities.
- If the player asks to participate in club activities between 5:00 and 5:30, they will be shown a scene that features Yandere-chan participating in the club’s activity, and the day will end.
- If the player reduces the number of students in a club to less than 5, that club will disband. The club members’ daily schedules will change, their appearances may change, and the doors to the clubroom will be locked.
- If a clubmember witnesses Yandere-chan commit murder, but Yandere-chan is not arrested for murder, that student will warn the club’s leader about Yandere-chan, and Yandere-chan will be kicked out of that club, or disallowed from joining that job in the future.
- If the player murders the leader of a club, that club will disband.
- If the player quits a club, they won’t be allowed to re-join.
- If the player takes an action that would result in a club disbanding (such as reducing the number of students to less than 5, getting kicked out of the club when the club only had 4 other members besides the player, or murdering the club leader) then the player will be shown a message at the end of the day in which Yandere-chan is informed that she has been kicked out of the club.
The Future of Yandere Simulator
I didn’t expect Yandere Simulator’s development to last this long. I think that this is a good time to make a video announcing how many features remain, how long it will take to implement those features, how I plan to carry out the rest of the game’s development, how I plan to secure funding, and how people can help me out.

God that voice acting is awful. I sincerely hope that once the Kickstarter rolls around one of the priorities will be to redo all voice acting.
Well, keep in mind that is the sandbox version. The game isn’t even a quarter done, be patient.

I would like to request help.
I attempted to summon a demon in the occult club. I tried Monday thru Thursday to summon said demon, later I tried to use the 5 new comic books read all of them, and tried again on Friday, but had no luck. Please tell me if I’m missing any steps
as of now, you can’t summon a demon (other than attempting to by joining the Occult club). I’m sure YandereDev will inform us when that feature is read X3 also, there’s an Easter egg for maxing your seduction/enlightenment/mystery thing for the mangas… if you press ‘S’ while looking through your collection it’ll boost your level. hope this helped :3

thats because it is, if you watch the video of the girl on the laptop study the way her hair looks she has long hair with loops around it it you click control you can see her if you get close enough

Hey, i’m the only one having trouble to take a picture of the occult crew’s faces? The camera doesn’t detect their faces when they are siting in the occult club or standing in front the lockers

Are you gonna release a Mac version of this Build? This Build looks REALLY cool and I’d really love to try it out(I don’t have any other computers other than a Mac)

There is a website,YandereMac (http://yanderemac.com/), that hosts Mac-converted builds there. I’m not sure if they have the Jan 1st one, but there’s bound to be some fairly recent builds available.

For Mac just get UnrarX to extract it and Wine to open it, it works for me. Wine doesn’t work for some people though
Us it just me or does anyone else think that yandere Chan is a really cute name!! 🙂
I’m having a bit of trouble. I tried playing the game and the screen just stays black. I’ve tried Windowed Mode, Full Screen mode, I’ve tried changing the screen resolutions as well, and I haven’t had any trouble with other builds.
This happened to me as well, I just redownloaded the build and it worked fine

In the future will we be able to customize yandere-chan? like different skin color hair color eye color? i know you can change the hair and i know you cant change the gender but i was just curious, will this be a goal in the future once you finish the game?
You can do that already. Hair: Press H until you find a good hairstyle. Eyewear: Cycle through P Extras: I think it’s either O or G.

When you open YanSimJan1st.exe, a small window with the Yandere Simulator logo and some graphic/monitor settings pops up. If you click on the controls section, you can change them there.
What is the thing that happens when you examine the cheese. After I examined it I tried searching eveywhere and everything is still the same. Im really curious what will happen, someone help?
One of the eye sockets of the skull on the table in the Occult Club room will glow blue. This and the cheese are both “Undertale” references
Somehow i feel like the cooking club should have Shokugeki no Souma reference.
We found the Computer Club girl under the floorboards because she was outlined in red … Which means she’s a future rival! Is she the Student Council President? I would swear YandereDev has said before that one of the rivals would be the Student Council President!

I’d like to report a huge, whopping mistake about this latest build, concerning the Falcon and One Punch Easter eggs…. I LOVE THEM WAY TOO MUCH! I’ve spent hours on this game, sending people flying all over school. I’ve not seen my family in so long…. I wonder if they even still remember me….
Thank you so much for this game Yandere Dev. My friends may look at me like I’m crazy whenever I mention this game, but I don’t care. This is the best game I’ve come across in ages.
(P.S. In case someone didn’t realize, I’m not actually trying to report something. I’m just being funny. Thought I’d better clear that up just in case…)

I sort of have an issue with the clubs. It’s kind of hard to be sneaky with the killings now since none of the club members are ever alone. Either they’re walking to or from class, doing club activities or in class – they never break out to do anything private like certain conversations or going to the toilet. I know that I should just kill enough so the club disbands, but I can’t really kill anyone without being detected since they’re never alone. And the one club member I CAN get to be alone with me is needed for some future conversation that I won’t get if I kill the person o.o I know I can just kill everyone in the room, but yeah … I was sort of hoping to go around and be sneaky …
Any advice, people?
Guys, have you seen this very old video about guitar case? There was an option to cut victim’s body to pieces. When you look at the books that students are reading in the occult club you will see an image of various parts of body and next to it a picture of a demon (probably). Do you think that’s what saws will be for? And only after they will be active again will we be able to perform a ritual ?
I see that the most popular option in the poll is to start the crowdfunding campaign early.
It probably is the best course of action, but I think the only problem with that, is that if you open it up to backers, then backers are going to expect loads of updates, and a fully fledged out time table for release. Which…as soon as you fall behind on, they’ll bitch about and start asking for refunds.

Yandere Dev, I wish to ask you something, In the final build and when Yandere Sim is finally released, Will it be possible to Complete it without any bloodshed?, And without killing a single person? And instead using Social Sabotage and School Politics? This is a sort of Challenge of mine that I think would do wonderfully for any Completionists, What do you think? You’re doing a fantastic job man, Keep at it, You have my support and you have great potential, Thank you for your work, I know you won’t let anyone down…
