Hello!
The composer of Deadly Dangerous Love – the theme song of 1980s Mode – had an idea for a contest. A singing contest!
The objective of the contest is to sing the best cover version of Deadly Dangerous Love. To enter, you must upload your cover to YouTube and link to it in the comment section of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwiUgIzXq3M (That video is the instrumental for Deadly Dangerous Love, which is vital for creating a cover!)
The winner of this contest will get a pretty sweet prize: the composer of Deadly Dangerous Love will create a citypop-style music track for you! Whoa, that’s a big deal! This guy is a professional composer! Getting a free song from him is like winning the lottery!
The contest will end on December 1st. I hope that a lot of talented singers will compete in this contest!

Fixes and Changes
- Fixed bug that made the first rival’s portrait show up twice at a memorial for her death. As a consequence, a bug has been fixed that made the first rival’s portrait show up alongside a portrait for any other rival’s death.
- During Mission Mode, the bully girls will now eat food instead of sunbathe. This allows the player to successfully perform a mission that involves poisoning any of the bully girls.
- Students who are traveling to a meeting (because they found a note in their locker) will no longer get distracted by dropped objects on the ground on their way to the meeting.
- It is no longer possible to make a rival speak to her suitor after having an “Offer Help” conversation with her. Sorry, it just created too many bugs.
- From the pause screen menu, the player now has the option to restart the day at Yandere-chan’s home instead of restarting the day from school.
- Fixed bug that prevented students from picking up garbage bags at cleaning time (this bug was only occurring on Week 2 of the game).
- Fixed bug that prevented the player from being able to speak to a rival after having an “Offer Help” conversation with her.
- Fixed bug that prevented male student council members from being able to play their pepper spray animations.
- Fixed bug that caused Akane and Kuroko to get stuck while trying to walk through clubrooms.
- Fixed bug that would prevent students from investigating the sound of a nearby scream.

Omg, the same thing happened to me! I legit thought it was my pc’s problem or something, at least I know I wasn’t the only one :(. I was halfway through the game so it really hurt :(.
I actually feel too shy to sing…in public. Sure I like music but I feel shy.
The game tells you you’re gonna get kicked out of a club the following week if you didn’t attend the club activity at least once during the week you’re currently in. But Ryoba doesn’t get kicked out even if she stays in the same club for 10 weeks without doing the activities. Is this how it’s supposed to function?

I think there is a bug, I cannot find the screwdriver in the Science Club, it practically disappeared. I am in week 6 with the Pop Star Rival in 1980’s mode, and I searched the whole school and cannot find the screwdriver. I googled where it is supposed to be, and it’s not in the science club, I have proof that It’s not anywhere. Also, when I wanted to download this update, it said something about not being able to download because it is temporarily closed from my IP address.
It’s not in the Science Club anymore. It’s in the Workshop room now.
If I try to do the yakuza task I get stuck talking to the guy after beating the enemies.

when i buy drops from info-chan they dont appear behind the building
A few people have reported this bug, but Info-chan’s drops appear for me, so I don’t know what to say…
Are there already some intended lyrics for the song, or would it be up to the singers to create some?
Never mind, I found the answer. I’m assuming we are using similar lyrics as the trailer.
Dear Yandere dev, this is a small thing, and not very important, but it would be great if protogonists used different nightclothes in 198x mode and in main story. Also, I really liked the black clothes that Ayano once presented, but over time it took off.

hi yandere dev, if you see any errors it’s because I’m not English (I’m Italian).
I think it would make sense to create a closed closet where the key is only from the principal or the professors.
the usefulness would be that when a club closes, the items that yan-chan might need go to there. cause if you kill a girl from the garden club then you can’t get the gas it takes to kill moeko.

Huh. Hmm. This suggestion might be worth considering as an addition to the game…
I think i found a bug. If you’re trying to eliminate Kaguya the s+ way (or i suppose it works with any rival you’re trying to eliminate through event manipulation/rejection) and kidnap a student on a day that you’re also doing an event manipulaton on, the text on the screen when you leave school will tell you that you successfully manipulated the event, but will repress the kidnapping successful screen where ayano/ryoba gets the musical case at night, resulting in the student that you originally kidnapped NOT being kidnapped. its annoying. im trying to speedrun 1980s s+ rank, and because of this bug i cannot kidnap a student in the first week.
Alright, I’ll fix that in the next build.
More bugs fixed, and singers for a cover! Seems exciting. By the way, theres a bug when Kuroko walks into the gaming clubroom, she just spins around (it only stops once you alarm her with some giggle or go near her.)
I noticed another bug that I keep getting. When you report your rival to the counsellor, then kill a student later in the day, you’ll be stuck on a screen that shows the counsellor’s office at the end of the day. Does that make sense? I can explain more if it doesn’t.
Whoops! I’ll make sure that is fixed in the next build.

Hey YanDev! I noticed that the props that you added some time ago as a “test” are still only in the left corridor of the ground floor. You should distribute them all around the school, so the player can have the cabinets to hide bodies at every floor (and it would make the environment more lively).
Hello YanDev! I have a bug for you:
On Thursday, for Kaguya Wakaizumi’s week, I have to put the sedative in her bento to make her sleep in the nurse’s office and sabotage the event. I forgot to sabotage her bento and skipped to lunchtime. When she got up from her desk and went to have lunch, I tried to open her bag and add the sedative in her bento. And I was able to add it, even though she took the bento with her.
Please fix this bug!
I don’t know if this is a bug or not but Ryobi still has snap mode, is that supposed to be normal?. also just a bit of thought what about providing another disposal method besides the incinerator, but making its accessibility more difficult. like having the other incinerator locked and having to either achieve the key for it or break into it. also the fake reaction isn’t wanting to work when I’m present around a body.
Yes, Snap Mode is supposed to exist in 1980s Mode.
The “Fake Reaction” feature was a horrible idea, and I will remove it in the next build.

But wouldn’t that defeat the purpose of him? He’s canonically alive in Ayano’s timeline, so it wouldn’t make sense.
It’s literally the reason Ayano’s parents are gone in her timeline. Because they chased him overseas when he began trying to take Ryoba down again.
So I think it’s important to just have him there for lore and a bit of difficulty purposes. The ending cutscene would have to be completely overworked as well, considering he’s a key part.
So wouldn’t that take away time from actual game development??

Hey YanDev! So, I posted this comment on a new build a few days ago, but didn’t see it get fixed, so I wanted to post it again:
[ONE] In 202X mode, Osana is carrying the brown bookbag around with her from 1980s mode. I noticed it at cleaning time, but Iām not sure if itās there all day and I just missed it.
[TWO] I really like the slow-mo effect that happens when you eliminate the rival, makes it feel a lot more epic! But when tranquilizing Osana, it makes the sound effects too fast, and it makes it strange.
[THREE] So, Selfie Mode is meant to be like, a covert way to take a picture so students wonāt notice, right? I tried to use it to take a picture of Senpai without him noticing, but he still did. I believe all students notice, not just Senpai. Itās a bit weird.
[FOUR] Okay, so this is the last one, but itās been in the game for a while. Whenever you complete Kokona and Sakiās tasks, their bust size reduces, and it makes sense there, but the bugged part is that it works that way for every female student, even in 1980s mode. Itās been like that for a while, I just never thought to report it.
