You know the drill! Another day, another batch of bug-fixes.
The bug fixes are starting to get pretty minor at this point, but there are still a few more issues I want to fix before I’m ready to move to the next phase of the game’s development. I anticipate that I might finally be done with daily bug-fixes around November 1st, but unexpected problems could always pop up. We’ll see how things turn out.

Fixes and Changes
- The player is not meant to be able to lockpick the nurse’s cabinet in 202X (let’s say that the lock was upgraded between 1989 and 202X) but the “Lockpick” option was still there on the cabinet, even though it was non-functional. This non-functional “Lockpick” option has been removed from 202X.
- It was weird to have the majority of students have the Snitch Persona, so 20 characters have had their Personas adjusted. Sports and Martial Arts students are Heroics, Science students are Teacher’s Pets, and Occult students are Cowards.
- Positioned some props around the interior and exterior of the school and gym to reduce or eliminate the chances of the player getting stuck between a door and a wall if a student opened that door while the player was nearby it.
- Fixed bug that prevented the game from removing a sedative from the player’s inventory if they tranquilized a student in the gym storage room using a sedative instead of a tranquilizer.
- Fixed bug that would cause a 1980s rival bag to appear at Osana’s desk after the player attended class.
- Fixed incorrect control descriptions (description for left stick and right stick were swapped around).
- Fixed bug that caused the bully girls’ hair models to have a white outline in Yandere Vision.
- Fixed typo in manga description for one of the manga in 1980s Mode.
- Fixed prop in the gym building that was clipping into a wall.
- Updated the textures for the rainbow girls’ socks.

Hi Dev i found a bug in 202X Where Kuroko Kamenaga *student council girl* would get stuck in objects like for me she was stuck in the gaming clubs chairs where the computers are. Hope you can fix this.
This bug is fixed in the latest build, right?

Hey Yandere Dev! I love the update but there was one bug you missed. When framing someone for murder using the gloves, after taking them off you cannot dispose of them which means you will get arrested. The bloody gloves cant be disposed in any way. Also i’ve found this bug in 2022 mode (normal mode) so im not certain if the bug is also in 1980’s. 😀
I tested this myself, and couldn’t make the bug happen.
i noticed a bug where sometimes after you beat the boy delinquents mission to beat up the other gang, it will freeze Ryoba infront of him like how you were before you talked to him past the school gates.
I can’t replicate this bug…
There is a bug that occured when I sabotaged Kaguya’s Thursday event (putting sedative in her bento). She slept through the event where she is meant to meet Senpai, but I decided to go to my club to get the activity done (so I wouldn’t get kicked out), and it didn’t register that the event was sabotaged, so I failed the elimination method. Had to restart the week. Please fix this!

I found that you can kill Witness-chan in thr tutorial mode lol
Just collect wooden sticks, bandages and glass then craft a makeshift knife when the tutorial call you to change your clothes or dispose the cropse
then take the makeshift knife when you see Witness-chan standing outside of the incinerator
the talk button and the attack button will appear at the same time
If you press F you’ll kill her, but after you kill her you’re stuck in the spot that you killed her
but you can press enter to go to the pause menu and skip the tutorial
Idk if it’s important but I just wanna mention that cuz why not

Hi Yandere Dev I have a question about Sumiko’s artwork. Specifically with the gym uniform. Is it suppose to be unique to her or is that the gym uniform for the students in 1980’s mode?
If that gym uniform is for all the students. Do they have a different swimwear also.
Yan dev I found a bug where when a student council notices you killing someone they will go and peppery spray you but instead of doing the normal animation they’ll keep doing the running animation

Hello yandere dev so i have a few bugs when I play as Ayano I cant finish the homework task for students and Info chan Room is the exact same as the one in the 1980s Mode and when i buy some items from info chan they wont drop

I have an idea to make some students stand out. Cause most of them have like the same face besides like hair and eye colors. I would recommend doing the same thing like in Story Mode giving some students other eye types. The Occult and Science club girls could have serious eyes. And the Gardening Club girls could have gentle eyes. And I think everyone else can keep what they have for now the Round eye type and Male eye type.

A curious bug happened to me, In week 7 with Teiko Nabatasai The rival disappeared on Tuesday and was replaced by a rainbow boy, all my progress went to shit

Hi yandere dev when I recently played the 24/10/21 build when i tried to eliminate the 5th rival by putting setative in her bento instead of going to the pool and sleep she would stay in the nurses office is this suppost to happen?
This bug should be fixed in the most recent build.

For bug report: I’ve noticed a hallway prop (the one with papers and pamphlets, on a brown desk, found in hallways) has a pamphlet that says something akin to “how much time do you spend on your phone?” with a picture of a smartphone on it in 1980’s mode, not sure if intentional.

Yandere Sim is not for tablet at this point in time.
Pleaseee let us use the debug menu in the 1980 mode too. I know you don’t want people to cheat and get an S+ rank easily but maybe you can make it like in the original demo where you need to beat Osana without cheats in order to unlock the debug menu. I already finished the game with an S rank but I want to try using debug in this mode too. 😭😭
Maybe after 1980s Mode has been out for at least a month.
I found an annoying bug: I tried to frame Komako for killing Daisaku Aragaki, and when the body esa discovered and police calles, I cleaned up everything (mopped blood, tossed the body in the acid vat) but left the boxcutter.
I did this all wearing a mask and gloves. Then I put the mask and painting club clothes in the washer, got changed and restored Sanity.
The end result: an infinite repetition of a police screen saying that they found multiple bodies (what?).
It’s game-breaking, I had to restart the game. This was done with the october 24 build.
Oh yeah, I put the body in a bag if that adds anything.
I appreciate more persona variations!

Hey I found a bug yanderedev when I kidnap someone and save then load this happen they were walking
I was about to finish with the 5th rival, closed, then updated the game and suddenly my Game file broke and restarted itself, losing 2 weeks of progress :(. I don’t know why that happened. But any advice so it doesn’t happen again?
i have a problem it is like im now at the 5th rival and when i close the game and come back to it later it will just restart the whole game and this is happend twice
Does it only happen if you swap to a new build between saves?
Sometimes old saves are not compatible with new builds.

I recently “replayed” Kuu Dere simulator 3 for the memes and I was actually impressed how good Osana’s death screams are when you shoot her, my compliments to Osana’s Voice actress. You should put those screams in the actual game for the rival instead of the “generic student scream”, It will make Osana feel more unique and satisfying to eliminate her.
i’ve been experiencing some rapid fps drops, from 110fps to 50fps with a 3-5 second gap in between. this could be from pose mod if it isn’t i won’t delete this comment

Yandere Dev I found a bug in this October 25, 2021 update: in the 1st week of the rival I increased all chemistry stat on Mondays and Tuesdays. Wednesday morning I got the lethal poison in the science lab, went into the rival’s bag Ryoba he won’t let me put the lethal poison the bento in the rival’s bag. This bug also works on all rivals with this method. This bug is found in 1980 mode. Please Yandere Dev fix it
Have you thought about updating senpai’s customization thing? I’m re-watching all of your videos, in oldest to newest order. However, I realized that Senpai’s customization hasn’t got an obvious change since 2015 (6 years ago), right? Senpai’s hair color and hairstyle choice seem…. old? The colors look… cursed? and the hairstyles are outdated. And maybe you can add a debug/ easter egg key where we can change senpai appearance to female? I really, really love Taeko and dislike Taro and really want to see Taeko in the game, even just her appearance because you haven’t got time to spend on Taeko yet, right? It’s similar to Yandere-kun easter egg. Just her appearance, no new animations, no new voice lines; just add her model and that’s all.
By the way, I usually see Kuroko stuck in the gaming club, spinning near that computer table and Akane stuck in the science club, near Yaku’s workspace. I need to giggle or use a radio or bump in those two several times to help them resume their daily routine.
I’ll probably update the customization sequence after the game gets new characters models.
There is a bug where if Raibaru picks up a weapon before Osana’s phone call on Monday, she won’t go to put it down until you go to class, and then it just reappears back in the drama club room.
It also won’t let me do tasks for some reason, even tasks that aren’t the placeholder task.
Are you still getting this bug? I haven’t gotten this bug at all with any student in either time period.

Yandare Dev! why did my data reset when i updated the game? is that a bug? I was in week 4 then i updated it and it when back to week 1 : ( and another thing when i befriend my rival and there will be a option on the door “Insane Asylum” right? after i finished that mission in the next night the option is still there! is that normal?
I’m sorry, the game would only delete your save data if your save file had become corrupted and was impossible to be recovered…
