February 3rd Bug-Fixing Build

Whoa! There were a ton of really embarrassing bugs in the previous build! I’ve put together a new build that fixes most, if not all, of the problems that people informed me about. In total, there are over 20 changes/fixes/additions in this new build!

Fixed, Changes, and Additions

  • Fixed bug that set the bullying threshold at “0”, meaning that any student with a reputation below “0” was automatically being bullied (bullying is not supposed to occur until a student’s reputation is below -33).
  • Fixed bug that caused the bullies to stand around a student waiting for the student to be bullied even after their bullying event had ended.
  • Changed the school uniform that Info-chan uses in Mission Mode, since the school’s uniform is black in the “Mission Mode Timeline”.
  • Replaced the original placeholder phone model (a black cube) with the higher-quality phone model that is used during Osana’s events.
  • Removed debug command for testing an upcoming character model (pressing the spacebar would put every student into a lab coat).
  • Fixed bug that caused a bully to walk at 2x speed if the player spoke to them before they had entered the school gate.
  • Fixed bug that caused Phone Addicts to hold a phones and a pen in the same hand while taking notes in class.
  • Fixed bug that caused a Phone Addict to hold their phone while in the “mind broken slave” state.
  • Fixed bug that caused Phone Addicts’ phones to disappear if the player aimed a camera at them.
  • Fixed bug that caused a Phone Addict’s socks to use the wrong texture after being kidnapped.
  • Fixed bug that prevented the player from choosing an animation for a girl in Pose Mode.
  • Fixed bug that caused the Gardening Club girls (and others) to have invisible bodies.
  • Midori will no longer mutter to herself while texting; it was causing too many bugs.
  • Unfortunately, had to remove Mai Waifu’s custom eyes again; created too many bugs.
  • Fixed bug that prevented Musume from walking behind the school during lunchtime.
  • Fixed bug that allowed student council members to enter the “bullied” state.
  • Fixed bug that prevented the player from doing Musume’s Task at lunchtime.
  • Fixed bug that allowed faculty members to enter the “bullied” state.
  • Fixed bug that caused bullies to bully members of their own group.
  • Fixed bug that allowed Senpai to enter the “bullied” state.
  • While I was creating the previous update, I changed Musume’s Student ID. This had more side-effects than I expected, and resulted in some new bugs. The quickest way to fix the problem was to simply implement a new student to take Musume’s old Student ID slot. So, I’ve implemented a new character to occupy that spot. However, don’t get too attached to her! She’ll be removed from the game once it’s time to implement the “Mysterious Obstacle”.

  12. I think you should be able to show one of the bullies Kokona’s phone conversation on a Monday. Like, record it or get them to follow you, because then you could earn their respect and they will lower her reputation directly rather than hearing it from the player.

So, i was playing yandere simulator and i noticed that in the library the books that are in the table say like a decription of the game, i guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, and in the end it says ¨He-he-he-he-have some respect and don’t spoil the game. It’s impossible to have mysteries nowadays, because of nosy people like you. Please keep all of this between us. If you post it online, I won’t make any more secrets. No one will be impressed. It will be your faaaaault! He-he-he-he-ha-he-he-ha-he-he.¨ this is a messaje found in the files of undertale. Curious isnt it ?

    • By the way, aside from Ayano herself, she’s currently the only character which has reasonably realistic Japanese traits. Something uncommon in anime, too.

  21. The new student looks so much like myself, it’s like I’m in the game. I know this is dumb, but I couldn’t help it to comment. It’s just because of her hairstyle, personality and bullying problems. Just so me.

    Well if the character is likable he just can’t stop people from liking her so yeah…… He surely will screw with us once more TwT

  29. I would like that every member of the bullies would have a specific colour for their panties,I mean, Kokoro Momoiro would wear the pink panties,Musume would wear blue panties…..

  35. For some reason I can’t find the placeholder girl… And everyone says they’re already attached to her… can someone tell me about it or at least post a picture please ??? I’m reaaaalllly curious about the subject and if it gains a fanbase then we wish the best of luck to YandereDev ’cause it’s probably going to be like Mei Mio’s bun. 😐

  36. When I always want to update the new build everytime I will get a sign that said like ” You must close the game…” or like that. I was not playing yandere sim when I was to update the build. So uhmmm…. yeah. I thing you can fix the launcher YandereDev.

  40. I have an idea…
    If we join the bullies..
    You won’t lose reputation when gossiping about a student. If you wear the panties, you will NOT loose ANY rep. when gossiping.
    People MODEL you. If you compliment someone when you are a bully, it will mean TWICE as much because they always underestimate themselves so you will earn +3 rep. every time.
    Finally, remember when you said that Yandere Chan’s school is only for the most prestigious students? They do NOT allow students to dye their hair. Being a bully you will be able to NOT only dye your hair, but wear a nice jacket (Black) and for that hair dye it has to be RED of course! (Represents BLOOD) AND your phone will have a cute case to it as a heart that is half red and half black.

    • And, just a little input here, but since a bully’s opinion matters to students, gossiping about students should damage their rep even more than usual, resulting in a refused confession or suicide faster.

  45. It’d be great if in the final game, yandere has to take action against the bullies in some linda of alternative mission. They could be bullying senpai and ayano would stop them
