Early November Progress Update

2:45 PM Update: There were a lot of bugs in the builds that I uploaded last night, so I’ve uploaded another new build with several more bug fixes. Scroll down to the bottom of this post to read about all of the new bug fixes.

I’ve got a new progress update video to share with you! However, before I show it to you, I’d like to mention something:

Recently, a lot of people have reported that they are encountering errors when attempting to download the game using the official launcher. I know the cause of the problem, but not the solution to the problem. While the problem exists, the only advice I can give you is to download the game through Mediafire instead of the launcher.

Okay! Now, with that out of the way, here’s a new progress update video!

Here’s a list of everything that is different in the latest build:

12:00 AM Update:

  • Fixed typo in subtitles when Pippi is giving a task to Yandere-chan.
  • Fixed bug that prevented players from posing female characters’ left leg.
  • Fixed bug that would remove students’ stockings when outlines were disabled.
  • Fixed bug that would allow Riku to flirt with Kokona even while she was a charred corpse.
  • Fixed bug that would prevent students from being able to blush when outlines were disabled.
  • Fixed bug that was preventing the “Rainbow 6” from sitting at the table in the Cooking Club.
  • Fixed bug that was preventing Riku, Pippi, and Ryuto’s tasks from appearing in the Task List.
  • Fixed bug that would prevent the “censor panties” option from functioning if outlines were disabled.
  • Added a new option to the Settings menu – the ability to prevent students from animating when distant from Yandere-chan.
  • Made many adjustments and optimizations (both inside the code and outside of the code) in an attempt to improve the game’s framerate.

1:45 AM Update:

  • Fixed bug that would prevent Info-chan from dropping a spare uniform out of her window.
  • Fixed bug that was turning Kokona’s hair silver during the Befriend/Betray cut-scene.
  • Fixed bug that would cause Yandere-chan to permanently freeze if she changed her shoes or her clothing.
  • Fixed bug that would cause corpses to turn invisible if the player was not pointing the camera directly towards the point in space where the corpse died.

2:45 PM Update:

  • Fixed bug that was preventing the “Remove Outlines” feature from working.
  • Fixed bug that was preventing any kind of object from falling out of Info-chan’s window.
  • Fixed bug that would prevent players from being able to pick up bloody clothing after removing it.
  • Fixed bug that was causing girls’ stockings to disappear after changing their shoes at their locker.
  • Fixed bug that was causing many strange issues to occur whenever Yandere-chan became nude or changed into a skintight outfit.
  • Fixed bug that was preventing the “Stop characters from performing animations when very distant from Yandere-chan” feature from working.

  1. I saw this video today: it’s the intro cutscene made in MMD, featuring the genderbent versions of Osana-chan, Senpai (here Kohai) and Yan-kun. The animations are awesome ^^ I’m interested to see how the intro of the game will turn out.

    I do hope that some characters will have a genderbent version as well, like the rivals for example (all following links are from Reikiwie, my most favorite artist ^^)

    Well, I can’t decide on that, and if, it’ll be probably made when the game is finished.
    I’m looking forward it and wish you all luck Yandere-dev ^^ (I also hope that the artist is not mad at me for choosing her pics as an example, but I just really like them >w<)

      • Then why wouldn’t he play on his good computer? And why’d would he have two computers? And pc are computers as well so your points aren’t vaild and you are just trying to be a good defender but you make no sense so please just shut up before you make yourself look even dumber

      • You’re the only one who is dumb here 🙂 I’ve got a great pc, but YS doesn’t run smoothly when the settings are on “yandere”(the best graphic option, with enabled shadows) and when i’m at the school plaza (because of falling sakura petals, water, and a big amount of students performing action) it drops to ~30-20 fps…maybe your computer is so bad that it runs smoothly at the worst graphic 😀

        Besides i don’t know if there is any point in talking with you. You don’t even understand English.
        ‘Rylieeh’ only counted out the platforms you can play YS on. How could he/she know how many computers ‘Remote Offgrid Kiddo’ has?
        So…you can’t understand English but you’re writing in this language + you can’t think logically + you call the others “stupid”, or “poor” = you should be the only who should shut the hell up.

        Beside your sentence: “so your points aren’t vaild” makes no sense
        if you have a cash for “good computer”
        Then spend some of them for an English tutor 😀

      • What if he’s still a minor and his parents/guardian aren’t/isn’t letting him play on a better computer or isn’t buying him a better computer? What if he only plays for a small amount of time? What were YOU trying to do while posting that comment? Seriously, it’s not needed.

      • Oh I’m sorry I didn’t know I was taking an exam for my spelling on the internet oh wow, I never even commented on your computer but okay my computer runs smoothly because I built my self with the best specs so my games run smoothly and guess what? YS does the lowest it ever got was 25 but it rose back up. And I can see why you’re triggered about my comment when you don’t understand is that he is talking crap about yandere dev and telling him don’t fix your game because my computer can’t handle it. Smu

      • “lowest it ever got was 25” Yeah that is shit framerate. I have a GTX 1070 and an i5 4690 and get 60 fps or as low as 25. Doesn’t matter what your PC is. The game runs like shit.

      • Dude his fanbase is 12 as you can see. Why bash on kids, grow a pair. Yeah cry out, fill a butthurt complaint. But I don’t see one single adult in this commentsection.

        Yes the framerate is bad he fucking knows. Rx 460, core i3 here I quite enjoy the campfire this game is causing to it. Then again it’s not a finished product. It’s free to download now, what is your problem. Something you got for free, no charges doesn’t work as your spoiled ass wants to. You’re more then welcome to leave and stop playing it or deal with the current state as it is.

        Seems the doc didn’t drop you hard enough. What a fuckwhit.

    • He needs to change it so his game will be unbanned on twitch (the setting) He wants to change his name because he doesn’t want his game to be a meme game and he will. Easter eggs will always be there

  9. Je ne sais pas s’il y’a un français dans les parages,mais j’aimerai savoir si,demain;il y’aura une mise a jour ou,surtout,quelle heure il est en Californie(me semble que c’est la qu’habite Yandere Dev)
    I don’t know if there french in the aera, but i want to know if there a update tomorow .What time is it in California?(I believe is Yandere dev’s house)
