The Last Build Before Osana?

As you already know, because I explained it back in 2017 and have explained it numerous times since then, I decided not to implement Osana until Yandere Simulator contained every feature and mechanic that I felt was necessary for the game to match my vision. My vision was so elaborate, it took 6 years of work to reach this point…but I can finally say that I have a build of the game that contains pretty much everything that I felt was important to put into the game before releasing Osana. (There are still a handful of minor wishlist items that I am interested in implementing, but all of them are lower in priority than Osana.)

The last remaining task is to overhaul the game’s UI and improve the graphics. After that, I simply have to test all of Osana’s eliminations one-by-one, and then release her once I’ve fixed every bug I can find. If this build contains any critical bugs, I might have to release a bug-fixing build within the next few days…but if this build is stable, then the next build may be the build that contains Osana.

I have an estimate for how long this will take, and I want to say, “You’ll have Osana on Ju██ ██th!” but if something goes wrong and delays Osana, people will get upset that I missed the release date, so I’m going to keep the release date a secret until I’m 100% certain she’s going to be released on that day.

(It’s worth mentioning that this build does not contain voice lines for Student Council girls, since I am still waiting on two voice actresses to deliver their lines.)

So, what does this build contain? Aside from 30 bug fixes, this build also contains…

  • The ability to get Student Council girls fired from the council
  • Expanded saving/loading functionality
  • A new phone for Yandere-chan
  • Numerous UI improvements
  • Props in school corridors
  • Theme music for stores
  • New background music for normal school gameplay
  • New background music for the Alphabet Killer Challenge (provided by Fonix!)
  • The ability to hide dead bodies in lockers in corridors (outside of the ABC Challenge)
  • Re-written dialogue for the initial text message conversation between Yandere-chan and Info-chan
  • Overhauled Calligraphy Room and Drama clubroom
  • A screen for viewing the game’s controls
  • Six new Headmaster Tapes

And a bit more, too! For a full list of everything that is new or different in the latest build, scroll down past this absolutely gorgeous illustration by an extremely talented artist who chose to remain anonymous.

Improvements

  • Previously, it was possible to create an impossible Multi-Mission by designing the mission so that the player had to eliminate a Student Council girl with a method that did not apply to them. (For example, it was impossible to kill a Student Council girl with fire, because they dodged buckets of gasoline). As of now, Info-chan offers a new service: for the price of 25 Info Points, Info-chan will get a girl fired from the Student Council, which turns that girl into a normal student (no more pepper spray, no more supernatural dodging skills, etc). From there, you can interact with the girl normally, and kill her using methods you couldn’t use before (such as putting a note in her locker to lure her to the rooftop and pushing her off the roof). This feature is only accessible in Mission Mode, since it was implemented to accommodate Multi-Missions about eliminating Student Council girls in specific ways.
  • The saving/loading feature will now accurately track which students are arrested, broken, dead, dying, expelled, exposed, holding a grudge, kidnapped, missing, photographed, replaced by a substitute, and befriended. Also, the saving/loading feature will remember reputations, which students have had their phones stolen in the past, and which students the player has already taken a panty shot of.
  • Yandere-chan’s phone was designed in 2015, and was modern at the time, but looks outdated now in 2020. The appearance of the phone has been adjusted to reflect the look-and-feel of modern 2020 phones. This has resulted in a lot of extra space in many of the menus! In the near future, those pause menu screens will be updated in order to account for this extra space. The current phone artwork is placeholder and will be replaced before Osana is released.
  • I was planning to avoid updating any aspects of the UI at this point in time, and save it all for the Osana demo so that the new UI would come as a complete surprise…but I couldn’t resist quickly updating the Calendar screen. Take a look if you’re interested; it’s an example of the type of UI improvement you’re going to see in the upcoming Osana build.
  • I always intended to populate the school corridors with props and decorations, but it wasn’t a high priority until now. As of now, props have finally been placed into one of the school corridors (turn left after entering the school) to simulate what it’ll be like once the entire school is populated with props. The ceilings around school look different, too.
  • In the future, each store on the street will have its own theme music when the player is accessing it. However, as of now, there is only one theme, and it’s the lingerie store theme, so you will hear sexy sensual music inside of every store on the street.
  • The Alphabet Killer Challenge now has a unique background music! It’s over 10 minutes long and goes through many changes so that it doesn’t get too repetitive during such a long challenge. (Press “M” during the challenge to play in silence.) The music was provided by Fonix!
  • Info-chan now refers to her currency as “Info Points” instead of “Panty Shots”. Open Info-chan’s menu and press the “F” key (or X button on controller) to see a tutorial pop-up describing the different ways to acquire Info Points.
  • From now on, whenever a character discovers a corpse, the player will see a camera shot of the character who discovered the corpse at the bottom-left corner of the screen.
  • Added one new background music track to the game (actually nine variations of one track, one for each possible combination of school atmosphere and sanity) provided by CameronF305!
  • As of now, if the player gets a “Dark Ending” (for example, the Genocide Ending) the credits screen will get more spooky (red text, no cherry blossoms).
  • The “hide bodies in lockers” feature from the Alphabet Killer Challenge is now a part of normal gameplay.
  • The initial text message conversation where Yandere-chan meets Info-chan has been re-written.
  • Updated the appearance of the Calligraphy Room (it is now closer to its final form).
  • Replaced most of the models in the Drama Club with new, higher-quality models.
  • The player can now view the game’s controls from the pause screen menu.
  • Placing a Bug for Info-chan now gives 10 “Info Points” instead of 5.
  • Added six new Headmaster Tapes – #3, #4, #5, #7, #8, and #9.

Bug Fixes

  • If the player carried a corpse in Yandere-chan’s arms and dropped it off the roof, then dragged another corpse along the ground and dropped that corpse off the roof, the first corpse would teleport back to the top of the roof. This bug has been fixed.
  • Fixed bug that would prevent surrounding NPCs from being easily able to detect Yandere-chan’s misbehavior if she had been sent to the guidance counselor earlier in the day, while crouching or crawling.
  • Fixed bug that would make it impossible to use the “put note in student’s locker” feature for the rest of the day, if a student witnessed a corpse after seeing a note in their locker.
  • Fixed bug that made it impossible for the player to remove a bucket trap from a door if the player picked up a bucket with water after creating a bucket trap elsewhere in the map.
  • If you saved the game while students were swimming in the pool and then loaded the save file, the swimming students would do all sorts of strange things. This bug has been fixed.
  • Fixed bug that would cause a student to slide across the ground while performing a frightened pose if they noticed a corpse while running to report a bloody weapon to a teacher.
  • Fixed bug that would cause students to run towards their locker instead of running to safety, if they discovered a corpse while on their way to check their locker for a note.
  • Fixed bug that would cause teachers to ignore giggles for the rest of the day if they sent Yandere-chan to the guidance counselor while responding to the sound of a giggle.
  • Fixed bug that would allow the player to run around freely while being chased by a student council member if the council member gave chase while Yandere-chan was laughing.
  • Fixed bug that would prevent the game from successfully loading if the player attempted to load a save file from a day when a Memorial for a dead student had taken place.
  • Fixed bug that would cause the Basu sisters to have their daily conversation at their lockers, if the player got a game over while the two sisters were at their lockers.
  • Fixed bug that would cause the framerate to drop significantly if the player asked a student to follow them (even after the student had stopped following the player).
  • Fixed bug that would prevent outlines from appearing around a student in Yandere Vision, if that student’s info was unlocked by paying Info-chan for info about them.
  • Finally fixed that annoying issue where, when you turn the camera and look at the students around you at the start of the day, the game stutters for a few seconds.
  • Fixed bug that prevented the “carrying drama club props is no longer considered suspicious if Yandere-chan is in the drama club” feature from working properly.
  • Fixed bug that would cause Yandere-chan to spawn with a duplicated weapon in her inventory if the game was saved while only one weapon was in her inventory.
  • Restored boats to the ocean visible from the street. (Apparently, they disappeared when I updated the game to Unity 2019, and I didn’t notice until now.)
  • Fixed bug that would allow the player to attend class in the gap of time between being spotted by a Heroic student and being chased by a Heroic student.
  • FINALLY fixed that super-annoying bug where the Student Info menu wouldn’t show character portraits if it was accessed from Info-chan’s Services menu.
  • Fixed bug that would prevent students from acknowledging the fact that Yandere-chan had picked up a weapon that they were currently investigating.
  • Fixed bug that would cause the game to freak out if the player attempted to load a save while on a day when a student memorial had taken place.
  • Fixed bug that caused a student to snap out of the “dying from poison” state if the player used a radio while a student was dying from poison.
  • Fixed bug that would cause the faculty to detect a murder weapon at school even if the player had cleaned blood off their murder weapon.
  • During the Alphabet Killer Challenge, stink bombs will no longer have an effect on characters who have witnessed murder or a corpse.
  • Fixed bug that would cause the camera’s rotation to snap to default rotation whenever the player stopped aiming their camera.
  • Fixed bug that prevented the player from attending class if they had gotten into a physical struggle earlier in the day.
  • Fixed bug that prevented the “innocuous objects become suspicious after becoming bloody” feature from working properly.
  • Attempted to fix “female students are invisible” bug, which would only happen on certain very old graphics cards.
  • Fixed bug that allowed the player to attach multiple buckets to the wood-chipper, instead of just one.
  • Tutorials may have been broken in the previous build. This bug has been fixed.

  1. Hey YanDev, I have a little minor detail you may have…forgotten about, you see, the new phone-style is great, let me tell you that…but when I played the latest build, I pulled out my camera and it was the old phone model, just letting you know, thank you for letting me follow the development of Yandere Simulator. Kind Regards, Seth

    • Same, this needs to be fixed in the build with Osana. I don’t think it would be that hard to do. It might be done along with the new UI and graphics.

  2. this is an amazing build! but i would like to request a new school model, the current school looks weird to me and too many trees are around. the trees are all pink, can you add green trees too? also with the props they look great but can you please remove the chairs leaning against the lockers. just please make the school like like an actual private a school, like with fancier chair and door models. the flowers on top of the sakura tree look bad and so does the cliff at the end.also can you please remove the senpai customization because it’s never really used. also can you please fix the heavy files in the game, like the toothbrush model? can you also put new uniforms in the game? and update ayano’s appearance?

      • Actually he could use The School model that was used in a yansim mod, it was called a mission mode school mod. if you took out a few unnecessary rooms from that school model the game would be amazing.Updating ayano would be no problem, and also removing trees and adding a little color to the trees in the game wouldn’t be a problem either sooo

    • Updating Ayano’s appearance would be amazing! She is so important yet she looks practically the same as she did 6 years ago…

    • Wouldn’t it be better to update all “apperance improvements” after the kickstarter? Modeling takes some time, and we’re talking about a whole new building with plenty of props and characters that need to be functional to work with animations. The game is reaching a demo status rn, so I think game mechanics are more important rather then what the school looks like. I think the best way would be to just change it after the game would have it’s own fund. Then YandereDev can even hire a profesional modeling team, that would do all models very fast and a programming team that would do the code, while he would design the style of the game etc.

As for Ayano apperance. I think the way she looks now fits with the story of the game. She is supposed to be a blank, emotional girl. Gray is a great color that describes monotony and her basic apperance fits with the fact that there is supposed to be nothing special about her. Also her apperance fits with the saying “still waters run deep”. Also changing Yan-chan after some many years of develompent isn’t such a great idea, since ppl assign her look with the game (it’s a similiar problem as that one with changing the game’s name). And even if you don’t like how Ayano looks like, there probably will be an option to customize the MCs.

    • that’s a Japanese school😂 they usually have blossom trees and that’s LITERALLY how most Japanese schools models look like and remember its not your game, it’s his, mind your own business, you’re basically the only one complaining about this type of situation, so leave the models alone, let yandere dev do what he wants, it’s not a private school that’s how most Japanese schools look like so, let it go, and don’t tell him things look terrible, yes you have opinions but you don’t have to say it, Ayano’s appearance is awesome, there are more than enough uniforms, I don’t get the filed complaint but whatever, I use the senpai customization a lot, blossom trees are all around most Japanese schools, the chairs are props and you’re worried about that? pathetic. and for the last time, IT’S A JAPANESE SCHOOL, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PRIVATE SCHOOLS, he wants it to have a “Japanese School Girl” look.

    • Did you just ask a game developer to change a huge thing about the game because you didn’t like it? Use a mod, dude.

    • That’s a bit much.. Also, I use the customization a lot, so what about the people who do use it?

  3. i watched a guy playing yansim for the first time and he was really confused can you make the game easier

    • There’s a tutorial for that. You can’t just ask someone to make their game easier, in what way should he make it easier ? That’s confusing…

      • You obviously don’t know anything about game development I’m asking him take away some of the mechanics of the game because it makes it incredibly confusing, and the tutorial is so messy and makes no sense you should be able to unlock certain parts of the game and then not already being there

      • Why are you being rude? This is YanDev’s game,he can do what he wants,he can add what he wants. And it’s not confusing! And the game isn’t supposed to be “easier”. 🤦🏼‍♀️

    • I played it for the first time a couple of years ago and found it not at all confusing. And again recently. I still wasn’t confused.
I suggest this no-name rando just stick with it.
Unless it was actually you, which I think it was.

    • Bruh, there are POP-UP TUTORIALS! If you disable them, it’s not Yandere Dev’s fault that you find the game difficult! Smh

    • Yandere dev, wants yandere simulator to be hard. He did a lot, of effort to make this game. Well I respected you’re opinion, but you’re request is kinda, confusing. There’s a tutorial, in the game for new players. :3

  4. Now that you added all the headmaster tapes are you going to add all the basemeant tapes too? If so i’d suggest maybe hiding them in a drawer in the basemeant or a trashcan, maybe just putting them in a bunch on the ground.

  5. I found a bug in the school. If you go to the cafeteria upstairs, then in the roof of the doorway, there is a big crack, so you can see the sky through the crack. Please fix this bug. Thank you YandereDev.

  6. love that we’re finally almost ready, but how long do you think it will take to implement the other rivals? and since you can’t give us information about them since they arent the tutorial, what are we supposed to do in the meantime?

  7. I just had a fat idea for a feature for the phone. I don’t know if this has been said or anything but I think there should be a messages app, maybe Ayano’s mom would text her just saying the regular things that a mom would but sometimes Ayano would get a message giving her tips and reminders that would help newer players get through the game. Maybe there could be a setting that would give you less hints and one that gives you more hints. It could work similarly to Yancord with the different options of dialouge, maybe not idk. it popped into my head randomly today and I was like “I should make this a comment!” and I did (as you can see). Also the little hidden part that hides the Osana release date the date June 11th, that’s probably too early but it’s the date that I first thought of. Anyway stay safe buds and I hope you are safe, cya.

  8. Hi i have a request! can you make the firing thr student council action done manually other than Info Chan doing it for us? thanks!

      • Maybe she’d have to stalk them, record what they do and their eventuall conversations and make them seem bad by going to the computer lab and mess with the audio

  9. I’m just really hoping that you’ll make that update on character models some time ago. It’s really hard to envision the game with the placeholders.

  10. Yandere Dev, I found a weird thing. When you have low sanity the Aggressive,Girly,Graceful, and Confident person are the only few that look good with low Sanity. Maybe you can address this problem after Osana or not at all, just saying that it looks very weird.

    • Um… It’s not suppose to look good. It’s suppose to look weird and unsettling. That’s what being insane does to you. Obviously 😂

  11. Hey yandere dev i wanna report a bug
I noticed that some of the shower buildings interior textures are missing
First of all when you walk in the shower the floor doesnt look detailded like it looked when you changed it the walls when you enter the shower building are half white half yellow but one of them is grey-ishly yellow
Second the showers part of the building
The floor doesnt have that detailed patten it just looks minty green and one of the wall looks dark-ishly green
Im sure if you look into it youl find a lot more weird textures
The point is some aspects of the shower look like a single solid color no patterns no details somethins wrong
Ive noticed this bug for a long time REALLY long time like 2 months maybe almost 3 a LOT of time but i never thought of reporting it because it was just a texture issue and i thought such a little thing would be fixed in the next build or so but it didnt get fixed so i decied to finally tell
i know i should probably have sent you an email but i decided to just write it here maybe other people can report it if they see it in the comments section
ANYWAY the point is the shower buildins interior has single-color-non detailed parts (floors and some walls) this is a bug i hope you see this, check it out yourself fix it in the next build so that the showers buildings interiors can look good again
    Thank you!

  12. An extra measure of bullying, if anyone has seen animes that involve bullying, they usually go a bit overboard, like killing a small animal. For example, a kitten. Yan-chan could take the kitten, kill it, then put it in either the victim’s shoe locker or inside her desk.
Not requesting it, of course, just wondering if anyone had considered it.

    • The Last time such a thing was considered, 10,000 Animal Rights activists disliked a video. A double standard in my opinion. It’s okay to Kill Humans but Not a cat.

      • Remember the “Yandere Chan’s childhood” video? Everyone was complaining in the comments that she killed a cat 😿

    • Well.. I think that’s go too far. For some reason i enjoy killing students but kill a poor animal majes me feel… sad

      • That’s your personal subjective opinion along with the That of 10000 others.

A feature that One doesn’t like is about to be introduced as it would be used as a type of creative experiment.

Response: No! You can’t have That. I don’t like that so I’ll ruin it for 100,000 people who might find it useful in Future gameplay.

Hypocrisy. Because people like that exists is the reason why I can’t enjoy Good comedy anymore.

FYI, this is not a Hate comment. It’s me trying to vent over those hypocrites.

  13. Yandere Dev, unfortunately I found some mistakes, I am writing this here because there is a greater chance that you will see them. I can be banned, but it’s important.
    – I get negative reputation points for holding: scissors, a screwdriver
    – when I take a picture, it’s an old phone model
    – photos are not saved (so I can’t show Horud’s photo)
    – the save / load function doesn’t work on a new phone (when I try to save, the game shuts down)
    – I have no idea if this is a mistake or it is so special, but when I enter the game via the “load / start game” function, the game resets and everything is restarted. However, if I enter the game via the “Debug Quick Start” function then the game will load my save.

  14. One more thing. Why don’t baseball weapons etc leave blood? Because of this, I can’t frame the delinquents in a murder.

    • They don’t leave blood because they’re blunt instruments; the benefit of blunt instruments is that they don’t leave blood for you to clean, but the detriment is that you can’t hide them the way you can knives and scissors. Also, you can still frame someone without blood; you just need to be in the drama club, use the gloves, and then kill someone with a weapon that has someone else’s fingerprints on it

  15. Helloooooo I know this might be kinda late to say and suggest but I’m gonna share it anyway well for Osana I have a suggestion for when Raiburi( idk spelling) tells Osana that there’s gasoline up ahead it would be cool if instead of Osana dodging it Raiburi could pull and or push Osana outta the way of the gasoline but this is just a suggestion so ya I just wanted to share my opinion.😄

    • i’m not complaining, it’s not complaining I’m giving feedback what’s the difference before you decide to get offended know what you’re doing

      • Look, you’re being rude! If this is not complaining…idk what to say. You can’t force a person to change the school,to remove the Easter Eggs. The Easter Eggs actually are useful for the final game. Stop being rude! This is not feedback! You even know what is a feedback? 🙂

    • Ok ok, please don’t fight, this is a quite place where we follow the development of yanderesim. Everyone is free to express their opinion. Please, everybody relax 🙂🙃

      • you’re basically saying “whY ArE thE trEES…pInk, ThEy ArE sUppOsEd tO bE grEEN, And thE schOOl, It’s UglY”
you’re complaining, and don’t call us 9 years olds when you”re a Karen, or a Chad, depending on your gender

      • Ya stop being a downer on ya everyone’s suggestion they have the right to make suggestions so stop being rude about it and I’m no longer sorry to you because you don’t even deserve it!

      • But if Budo is the strongest in the school, then why is it so easy to kill him near Raibaru?

    • Strenght and Reflexes aren’t the same thing. Raibaru has fast reflexes AND strenght while Budo only has strenght. Strenght isn’t really useful if you have slow reflexes

    • Perhaps it’s because of their different lifestyles? Budo seems to be less guarded and more into having a peaceful and calm life. He doesn’t really suspect Ayano or anyone else of wanting to attack him/hurt him. However, Raibaru is a very suspicious and paranoid character. She is quick to act and harder to kill because she’s always on the look out for any threats to her or Osana. Unlike Budo who is laid back and isn’t particularly always worried about that sort of thing.

  16. Why the club of marcial Arts don´t have animations of Karate our Kong Fu? They use the same animation as the delinquents playing.

  17. This build is wonderful, the new props in the corridors are amazing and give the game a different look and feel. YandereDev, you’re a good game development, we are very proud of you and your work 👍👍👍. Ohh… i almost forget…. Are you still planing add yandere-kun in the final game?? He is one of my favorite characters.

    • Can you explain what how garbage? I have 70 fps, bro. If you are here just to hate then go away. The Easter Eggs aren’t useless! 🤦🏼‍♀️

    • OK first of all you have no idea what game development is, if you want this game to be successful and enjoyable then you need to know that the Easter eggs and unnecessary models in the game are you making gameplay worse and causing more bugs

    • garbage? Bruh, with all the graphics impostation at maximium I can easily arrive at 30 fps with a NVidia GeForce GTX 720

    • This is why there’s an option to decrease the graphical fidelity. On some systems, the Shadow effects cause lag. High quality shadows even more so. Sometimes we just need to learn what our systems are capable of.
Not saying your system is garbage but try lowering the quality setting.

All those students walking to school in the morning would really take it out of an unhealthy number of systems.

    • Can’t edit replies.
Just tested the latest version and here’s my results:
      On the following system: i5-6600K, 16GB DDR4 GTX1080Ti
On the approach to school I get between 55 and 57 FPS.
Inside the school building it jumps to 70.

  18. even though it might seem like I’m requesting a lot of things it would improve the game so much please trust me, i’m asking you to remove the Easter eggs and replace the school model, I make the school look more like a private school and not a dumpster no offense. I hope I’m not making it seem like I’m criticizing you in a negative way I’m just giving you feedback that can make you more successful💕 please take it into consideration and please update ayano’s appearance

    • I would like to say that even though I see where your coming from,it’s unfair to say the school looks like a “dumpster” yanderedev has been working very hard on the apperence and the mechanics of the school and has tried to be as accurate to Japanese high-schools as he can. Do you know how long it would take to ‘replace’ the school? It simply doesn’t make any sense at this point in development. Also if you were paying attention yanderedev said he’d be disabling the Easter eggs when the offical demo/game comes out. Though I think maybe the character models need updating, it is not a priority at the moment and I’m sure he’ll update stuff in the future.

  19. This is an important moment in the game’s development, i can’t wait to make fun of all that idiots ho have made fun of Yandere Simulator since years and said that the game will never be finished 😆😆😆

  20. The earliest date to release Osana would be June 10th
The reason i think it is June 10th instead on June 4th is that if you look at the Ju, there are two missing letters and that space in-front of the th is the same size space as the two missing letters behind the Ju. The numbers and letters take up the same space so it would have to be a two-digit number
If I’m wrong you can correct me if you want i will not hate towards you.

  21. Three is one thing that really rubs me the wrong way about this post. It sounds like Osana is the end of the development of this game. “There are a few wishlist things to implement after she is in the game” does not match the current state of the game.

Osana is the first rival of ten. So far we have a school with props in one hallway, empty classrooms, about 10 conversations between students in the entire game, a little patch of grass outside school, a handful of tasks split between 80 students, old models all with the same face, a completely unused cafeteria, barely any story events going on at the school apart from kokona’s dad and the basu sister’s chats, bugs out the wazoo.
All of these are completely acceptable, so far as this is A Demo, and not a finished game just lacking a few wishlist items. The attitude of the developer should be “Yes, let’s get this demo out so that I can keep on working on the entire game” not “phew, almost done with the bare minimum before I ditch this thing”

The school’s interior and its inhabitants complexity should all be continually expanded during the ongoing development of the game. I truly hope I haven’t gotten this invested in a game which is going to be “complete” in the current state it is in, one rival added.

    • He said a few things that he would think are essential for the game to work. I’m pretty sure those things aren’t necessarily essential to the game. It would very much make it more fun to play, more realistic, aesthetically pleasing, etc, but you could easily still play the game without it. That’s what he meant, I presume.

      • I think he is definitely going to update/add in more small features like the ones you suggested, I just think you missed the point of what he was saying.

  22. I think that I might know when yandere dev is gonna put osana in the game. I’m not gonna spoil it because that wouldn’t really be fair so………. yea.

  23. i’m not sure if anyone else noticed this but I’ve noticed the sports club jogging at walking speed even when they are on the running tracks.

  24. Will it be possible that in the future infochans schemes could be nonrival related? Like a tutorial on how to earn favors like the phone device, like

Step 1: place a bucket over a swinging door near any female student

Step 2: follow female student into the locker room and obtain phone

Step 3: bring phone to info Chan

STEP 4: return phone before (time of day) or else you will be expelled.

Or just in case more methods even though they might be self explanatory

  25. Hola yandere dev, excelente actualización, espero pronto este listo el demo, una pregunta algún dia volveras a implementar a los rainbow 12? considero que sería un gran regalo qué volvieran a el juego ya que algunos fans incluyendome los extrañamos en el juego

  26. Hello! Ive been a fan for a long time and Im sure you’ve heard this before but reworking the codebase would be really useful for the game! A different architecture would enable the game to run faster and more efficiently, while also making optimization easier and as such the development speed would vastly increase!
I think hiring a programmer would be amazing.
The case with TinyBuild was unfortunate.I think sacrificing a few update builds with minor fixes would have been a “necessarily evil” if it meant a much better optimized game overall!
I really hope this game succeeds and you see the constructive criticism amongst all the mockery you get.
The scope of the game is ambitious and I think you need help for the sake of the game!
Its been done by only one person, hence lacking in various aspects.

      • Im glad to hear that! Thanks for referring me to the video.Developing a video game is no easy task and Im happy to hear you listen to criticism and excited for the future of the game :).
Coding isnt easy and you did all this shit alone, its normal for stuff to suck. Its all about reoptimizing and improving.
Accepting help is also an important part of that process!

    • Six years of his life have been leading up to this (or is it six and the rest?) and his had to deal with attacks on his person as well as just ordinary haters.
The guy’s a lot stronger than he gives himself credit for.

  27. $1.5K isn’t a lot of money these days. Might just about cover rent, food and utilities and a bit left over for yourself from that.
Go hound someone that IS making a lot of money from Patreon pledges and tell THEM to support the BLM movement.

    • For someone who lives with his parents, which means that he doesn’t have to pay bills or rent, 20 thousand dollars a year for doing absolutely nothing is a lot. He used to make 5k a month, until he got exposed for being a predator

  28. this is new theme song of ayano aishi on youtube: ayano aishi – tengoku, ayano aishi – fearless night.

  29. Just a thought 💭:I think if we try to make Senpai hate Osana, around Thursday or something, Osana should get suspicious about all the bad things happening and act a little more alarmed so it would get harder and harder to eliminate her by each passing day. I am really happy that we can see Osana in game btw🙃

  30. What would happen if Yandere Chan murdered everyone in her classroom so that it’s only her and the teacher? Would it cause her to switch classrooms? Or cause that room to become unavailable to students?

  31. Hey I’m not sure if anyone else has this problem but I can no longer access the debug menu. I’m in regular gameplay no eastermode activated but the \ no longer brings up the menu. Anyone else?

  32. Remember when yandere dev said that Osana was fully finished on Valentines day? Now its JUNE FOURTH and she’s still not here. Funny how that works.

    • The game has really come along and if people like you would just stop making rude comments like that, then I bet you he would be finished by now.

      • he’s a grown man LOL he doesn’t have to read the comments LMFAO if some 🥺🥺 hate 🥺🥺 prevents him from finishing his JOB, then he should just quit.

      • Stop it,kiddo. Get out of here. Do something else in quarantine if you’re bored. 😉

  33. The games optimization is fabulous now. I get 60 fps all the time (note i do have a decent pc though with a rtx 2070 and ryzen 5 2600x) but i think theres a problem with screen tearing but unfortunately there is no v sync and capping the fps didn’t help unfortunately. Will it be possible with the game current state to add v synce?

    • So i just found out that when i cap 120 fps on my 60hz display i see less screen tearing? Its like its almost disappeared when i did that. When I capped it to 60 screen tearing was frequent

      • UPDATE: yeah im a noob pc player and used a tv instead of a monitor. So in order to make sure im not in the wrong i bought a 1080p 60hz monitor and im still experiencing the problem with screen tearing unfortunately. And capping the fps to 120 reduces the tearing but its still present. However when i cap the fps to 60 its even worse than the tv i used.

    • Yeah, that doesn’t really count. Your computer is way too powerful to make a neutral judgement.
Try running Yandere Simulator on an AMD Sempron 2 GHz with 2 GB of RAM and a 256 MB AMD ATI Radeon 9800 Pro graphics card. If the game still runs well, then you have a point.

If the game performs weakly, then it needs some tweaking.
I actually do have a AMD Sempron 2 GHz with 2 GB of RAM and a 256 MB AMD ATI Radeon 9800 Pro graphics card, but that computer runs Windows XP, so I am not sure whether Yandere Simulator will run on it. I think Yandere Simulator needs Windows Vista as its minimum to run, but I could give it a shot. If it works, I will report the frame rate to you and to YandereDev. 😀

But, my main point is, if you want to measure the game’s performance, you need an old and weak computer rather an overpowered machine, since the game will always function great on the overpowered machine. On the older computer, however, you quickly notice when the game starts lagging, which makes it easier to determine what is causing the lag and how to eliminate it.

      • I just picked up a intel hd 5000 laptop so when the new update comes out I’ll benchmark it. You do have a point

  34. I know you’re planning on changing the character models after Osana, but does that mean the new ones will be different shapes and sizes too? And will you change the school model at all? I would think those two things would be really cool to be in the final game.

  35. YandereDev I know you must be bussy working on YandereSim but I really need to know. Are you going to add yandere-kun to the game ???
