For every day that the matchmaking update continues to be delayed, I’ll post a preview of what you can expect to see in the next build of the game. Tonight’s preview is about the changes I’ve made to the school environment! First of all…
After being gone for 10 months, the corridor of sakura trees that leads up to the school entrance is back! Also, now all students spawn at once, instead of slowly spawning one-at-a-time. They will also no longer stare at their cell phones after they spawn.
The school now has a couple of scenic locations located around the schoolgrounds. These locations will be important aspects of the Matchmaking elimination method!
I have drastically improved the appearance of the hill where the mythical cherry tree is located. Previously, the hill was just a half-sphere stuck in the ground. Now, the hill actually looks like a real hill!
I’ve made some great progress on the Matchmaking feature over the past two days; I only have a couple of other things to take care of before the feature is ready. I’m quite excited about it, and I hope that you’re going to enjoy it!

I feel that students spawning once it’s such a bad move. It just doesn’t make any sense, it takes away the feeling that there’s actual students actually entering the school instead of… mobs spawning for the game to work. We already had a bit of that we all of them coming at the same time, while the original version was perfect, and now this, what’s even worst!
i actually don’t feel it’s worst but it’s my opinion tho but however it’s just to make the game better for NOW maybe later each one of them/each group will come at a specific time ;-; i dunno

guys, If you’ve kept up with the youtube posts, Osana is shown from time to time, and lo and behold, she’s removed again before the actual build is released. I’m hype AF for it, but i highly doubt Osana will be in this build

Unfortunately, I don’t think so… : / Yandere Dev said that he needed dozens of animations for Osana to be implemented, and that she’s more likely to be in the game around early 2017, not before.
But it would be sooo great !!

My thoughts on ALL of it.
1. Yes! the cherry blossoms are back! I really missed those just because they’re so good to look at and the long corridor reminds me of my own school.
2. The fountain area looks so much more pleasant, probably be hanging out a lot there.
3. Thank you for not making them look at their cells anymore. That always peeved me and I don’t know why.
Now, for the people who are somewhat disappointed of how they spawn. I sometimes agree and disagree with your points. The first spawn process was just plain weird. Not that they look like robots, but just how symmetrical each student comes. How their spaces are the same measurement was just plain weird. The 2nd spawning process and to this update is just more realistic. They go different paths and give off a more “coming to school feel”, like they’re waiting for the gates to open and they come in finally as a crowd.
BUT my only suggestion is to let them arrive different times. I don’t know how disciplined Japanese students are but for me, well, in OUR school. We NEVER arrive on time, there’s always a mild bunch of early birds, a MOB of students within the appropriate time, and a few students who are “Just in the nick of time!” and late comers. Some meet up outside and arrive together like clubs, sport teams, and gangs (deliquents XD) because they’re good friends. Much like family members. Well in our place, this is how we roll. I actually dont know how others schools are, Im curious to know ya guys. 😀
Yep this is something worth adding to the game. Gives a more realistic feel of being at a school, and some familiarity too! And lol, your school is like the replica of ours! XD

It’s probably just a new place outside the school.
Yea, it may not be the central fountain, but its most likely be at the side or at the back of the school or the garden area. The flowers make that fountain area much better than the central though.
Can you turn the old scool into this school???

I think Osana will stay automaticlly at the cherry blossom tree “indestructible” and on Friday Senpai will go and stay in front of her freeze. So Osana will not be in the game.

I ALWAYS MISSED THOSE SAKURA TREES! God. I remember when this game was so small, didn’t even have a school environment, and was just a weird looking box room with Ayano, the original senpai, and some blue-haired Yan-Chans. This game has come so far and I’m happy with what it’s becoming now. I can’t what until 2019 when the game is finished. But yet… I still what the game to be in development, so I can never let it go when I’m older. I hope this game will not be forgotten! #iLoveYandereSimulator

Everything is looking great so far, yandere dev! I can’t wait until the new build is released! The only thing that bothers me is them spawning at the same time, it’s not that realistic. I think I’ll get used to it eventually though.

yes, i think that students should arrive at different times, and, like Sb should arrive in a group, loners to arrive scattered and random, club members and friends should arrive in groups, and maybe like at different times, but not past 7;10. but damn it will take like 20 min for those slow-asses to get to the actual school xD

The vid will show the names of the rivals, their drawings, their voices, and their in game models.
Yandere Dev, you should make different actions when they walk into school for different people, like some will look at their phones. Some will not. And some will read , and some will walk with their friends and talk.

all I have to say is WOW! this is just amazing. I cant believe this is back and im just as excited about this. new areas to explore a bit and to run around and probably areas where the teacher cant reach me again but that’s ok since ive heard the teachers and students cant go that far because of the fps decreasing. This just amazing Yandere Dev. Kudos. keep up the amazing work. Im still sad about that I can super Mario 64 throw people anymore but hey you said that kind of thing was going to be fixed but it still doesn’t change my mind on how great this game is getting. I still like the idea where you will in the future of the game when its finished where you would leave us an option to build our own school (in the final game that is. I believed you said that in one of your videos.) Amazing work
