I was informed about some unfortunate bugs, so I’ve uploaded a new build where those issues have been resolved.

Fixes
- When I switched over to a new computer, I forgot to transfer my Unity license to the new machine, so Unity assumed I was a free user and forced the user to view a “Made With Unity” splash screen when launching the game. I finally got around to transferring my license, so from now on, you won’t see that screen anymore. (It didn’t bother me, but apparently, it was a really big deal to some people, who asked me about it all the time.)
- If the player framed a student for murder, then was arrested because of smartphone evidence at the end of the End-of-Day police investigation sequence, the player would get a game over, but the game would still consider the framed student to be arrested on subsequent days. This bug has been fixed.
- Fixed bug that prevented the player from being able to picked up a body part wrapped inside of a garbage bag, but only if the player took a photograph immediately before wrapping the body part in a garbage bag. (One of the weirdest bugs anyone has ever reported…)
- Fixed bug that would cause “shrugging cops” to appear onscreen at the same time as Ayano during the “police find a smartphone with photographic evidence of Ayano committing a crime.” segment of the End of Day sequence.
- Fixed bug that prevented a student from recognizing that their phone had been stolen if the player stole their phone and then quickly attended class before the student could realize that their phone was gone.
- Fixed bug that prevented the game from acknowledging that a rival had been eliminated using the bullying method, if the final blow to her reputation was dealt with a newspaper article and not with gossip.
- Fixed bug that would make the game freeze on a black screen if the player reported vandalism to the guidance counselor on Thursday and then tried to leave school and go home.
- Fixed bug that would prevent the player from being able to quit a club if the player was wearing a weapon bag on their back at the time that they attempted to quit the club.
- Fixed bug that prevented the game from accurately remembering whether or not the player had picked up the Life Note manga book collectibles.
- Fixed bug that caused certain characters to spawn in weird locations at the beginning of the Alphabet Killer Challenge.
- Fixed bug that caused the drummer in 1980s Mode to get stuck on her drum set and never actually make to class.
- Fixed bug that caused a dismembered corpse to spawn 30 blood pools instead of the intended 5 blood pools.
- Fixed bug that made Raibaru stand in weird locations while Osana was searching for her missing phone.
- Fixed bug that made it possible to fall out of the map using the Heartbreaker robot easter egg.
- Fixed bug that made the protagonist’s panties disappear upon removing a raincoat.
- Fixed bug that prevented Osana from waking up from her poolside nap on Thursday.

What is that? I haven’t seen it. Or….have I?
You probably have seen it thousands of times in multiple games. It’s a text that says “Made with Unity” and a picture of the engine logo that displays for a few seconds before starting the game. It only appears if you use Unity’s free version.
Should be fixed in the latest build.
And why is that a problem?

Hey yandere dev, is it me or recently everytime i was gonna play yansim, after the welcome screen my game froze, same thing when i killed osana infront of raibaru, she apprehended me and my game froze. is it just my pc problem?

I have something to report. I’m unsure if it’s a bug or if that’s meant to happen.
I recently figured out how to change to a specific week in the 1980s mode. When arriving at the school and checking at the student profiles, some of the rivals profiles would be crossed out as if they were eliminated and some weren’t. It only happened to a few rival’s profiles. All of the normal student profiles were fine.
I love the game so far and I’m looking forward to the rest of the rivals in the 202X mode and new additions to the 1980s mode. I’m really excited!

Hey YandereDev! i found a bug in the game which I’m not sure if its only for me or for everyone but when I try to frame Osana for murder, at the police sequence the game suddenly freezes to a black screen when i press ‘e’. I hope this will be fixed in the future! Great work as always, keep it up!
I’ve been unable to replicate this bug. Please test for it in the next build? I may have fixed it.

A bug. When You pour gasoline in a bucket, the gasoline becomes water and You can’t burn the rival
that was fixed a few builds ago, have you updated the game?
I have an idea for week 2, When the day begins amai will present the cooking club, then will make dumplings, but we can sabotage the recipe for dumplings with the rat poison, Osana style, on the 2nd Amai will share food in the courtyard, then we have 2 options, we put laxative (new product we find in the city or by the info-chan application). Or deadly poison to incriminate Amai with murder/poisoning. Explanation: If you put the laxative, amai’s reputation will fall (33-) as also Senpai will have fewer interactions with the rival. In the 3rd, Amai takes a diary at school (new option of elimination, theft.) so in the diary it is written that she likes Senpai (Taro Yamada) so you can sabotage by writing in the journal that hates Senpai. Then you can print in the hidden teachers’ room and spread in school what will give less 40- reputation, on the 4th Senpai is sad with Amai, He had never thought that his new friend hated her, So interactions are quite few, and Senpai will read in different places, so Amai decides to apologize with a letter, so you can sabotage the letter. Then there’s going to be a cutscene of Amai delivering it to Senpai, and Senpai rejects her crying. On the 5th Amai very sad with reputation 73-, with little hope, decides to write another letter only that love, to find yourself in sakura tree, but you do not need to act on the 5th because Senpai already hates Amai, so even if she writes without sabotage senpai will reject …

No, I’m not done with the game, as you can see from the fact that I am still uploading new builds.
When you Shame raibaru, she starts with the brown shoes, and after Raibaru breaks her friendship with Osana, she performs the “changing shoes animation” and kept following Osana until class time. I can’t distract osana or kill her if she is bugged, and she is supposed to stop following Osana after breaking friendship with her.
Am i the only one who finds it weird that ayano/Ryoba are the only ones in school who don’t change their shoes even though you have the option to
Yanderedev! In these blog posts, do you mention everything that’s been changed in the build, or only the important stuff?
I think he tries to write everything, but sometimes he forgets something. With the amount of information that he works, it’s surprising that this happens rarely.
theres a bug where in the abc challege u cant kill Gema Taku because Kuroko gets stuck in a table in the gaming club so ur forced to go to class to get her to move.pls fix this ty love u yandev ❤
I just watched Kuroko walk into the gaming club and then walk out of it without a problem. I’m willing to believe that she can get stuck in there, but as of now, I don’t understand how. Can you e-mail me a link to a video of the moment that she gets stuck?

Yandere dev, yandere dev! I come with one bug that has bugged me since previous builds (lol)
I don’t know if this happened in the 202x mode but in 1980s mode, if there are several limbs at school and you wrapped each limbs in garbage bag, some student will react like they saw a dead body.
I thought they’re just being paranoid, but turns out other student (who didn’t give any reaction before) will react the same ONLY when the concealed limb is placed in front of them 😂

Hello, Yandere Dev! I’ve encountered a few bugs, so I’m here to report them.
1. If Komako (the 8th 80s rival) was eliminated peacefully and still attends Akademi, then on Chigusa’s week and Sonoko’s week, Komako will still perform her talking animation in front of the fountain, but there won’t be anyone talking to her, making it look like Komako is talking to the air.
2. If Chigusa (the 9th 80s rival) was eliminated peacefully and still attends Akademi, then on Sonoko’s week, she will go to her locker in the Girl’s Locker Room and look at it.
3. If you put lethal poison in Teiko’s bento (the 7th 80s rival) or Komako’s bento, they will choke on their food while smiling.
4. When Ai (the 6th 80s rival) plays her “playing the air guitar” animation (on subsequent weeks if she was eliminated peacefully and still attends Akademi) and then you talk to her while she’s still doing it, she will still “sing”.
5. If you befriend Hayato (the boy with green hair from the Rainbow Boys), then go in the Sewing Room where Hazu Kashibuchi (the timid clubless boy from 202X) sews outfits and wait for a few seconds, a uniform will appear on the table. (The 80s uniform, by the way)
Hi YandereDev, sorry if you already know about this bug but when we complete a quest of a large-breasted student, this one becomes small.
Thanks. Dozens of people have reported this bug, but nobody ever mentioned that it only happens after completing a task. Now I can finally fix the bug.
I’ve seen this happen after completing the Kokona quest, but I thought it was just what a “better-fitting uniform” looks like.

hey yan dev, i dont want to worry you but when i downloaded this build on mediafire it just sent me to a website with porn ads, is this normal?
Yan-dev, I know you’ve got a lot of things to deal with, but I’d like more content. Like getting study points for studying in the audiovisual room/at home instead of just the classroom/library, more part-time job options, a freeplay mode, stuff like that. Also, if possible, can you add a non-binary character, please? Doesn’t have to be a playable character. If you read these, make a character named Arindo Nosao, a non-rival who is a part of the Science/Occult club and likes Science, Occult, Cats, Art, Martial Arts, and Gaming; hates gardening, violence, and sports.
I’ve considered some of these ideas in the past.
The idea to study at home to earn more study points.
The option to apply for a part-time job at your computer, then use the door in your room for a “Go To Work” option.
I will continue to consider these things, but they are not top priority right now.
a funny detail or that I would like to see is that when a large part of the students in a classroom disappear, the teacher goes out to look for them, walking throughout the school… In case they have not been all or at least half, some girl of the student council, the disadvantage is that if he sees you, he will send you directly to classes and you could lose if you find the corpses in the area

i killed Osana with the drowning method , and students see bodies trough bathroom stalls

Which students? Where were they standing when they saw Osana’s body? Was the bathroom stall door open or closed? I lack all the details I need to investigate or fix the bug.
I wonder if you could bring back debug commands and easter eggs in the 1980s mode because i wanted to do pose mode on that.
Hey Yandev! Just wondering, have you added all the senpai shrine items to the game yet? if not in 202X mode, then in 1980s? I’ve been following senpai all day every day in 202X mode and all I find is the pencil. then in 1980s mode, I cant find anything BUT the pencil, even on a different week. just hoping you could add the items sooner or later in the next build or forward. It’d be a nice element to add! anyways, loving the progress!!
