Sorry, still working on it. I *could* release it in its current state, but I want to add a few more of the animations/voice lines that have been delivered over the past 2 weeks. I want it to be “Oh, cool!” instead of “Oh, okay.”
I can’t guarantee the exact day/hour that I’ll be finished adding all the things that I still want to add, but you can rest assured that I’m actively working on preparing it for you.
While you’re waiting, enjoy this preview of an upcoming Taro/Amai interaction animation:
(Nope, there’s no audio. Helps preserve a bit of mystery, I think. Perhaps you might consider passing the time by jumping into a voice call with a friend and fan-dubbing what Taro and Amai are saying with some goofy dialogue.)
Over the past 2 weeks, I spent a *lot* of time working together with Amai’s voice actress to record a massive number of voice lines; more than 50% of her dialogue is now recorded, and I’m hoping that the remaining 50% will be recorded over the next 2 weeks!
Now that I finally have a bunch of Amai voice lines to send to my animator, the next animations I’ll ask him to work on will all be related to Amai and her events with Senpai. You’ll finally start to see Amai’s week rising up to the same level of quality as Osana’s week!
In the meantime, while my animator was waiting for those voice lines to come in, he worked on something else – giving visuals to a cutscene that, for a very long time, has just been subtitles on a black screen. I’m SUPER happy with how it turned out; please check it out!!
In my opinion, this is one of the most – if not THE most – impressive-looking cutscenes in the game, visually! I really hope that future cutscenes will be able to match this one in terms of quality!
