  1. Yo, what if drugs could be implemented in the game? Like, the delinquents/someone else outside school will sell them to you if you manage to befriend them? They could give you certain perks, like temporarily having really high popularity, to get people to do what you want. Increase speed. Be less noticeable. Etc.? I know YandereDev doesn’t respond on here, and I also know he doesn’t want Emails with suggestions in his inbox. I just wanted your opinion.

    • have you ever been on drugs? is does not work like that. however drugs could be used in the game to kidnap other students. drugs dont really give you superpowers super sonic hearing maybe. trust me i smoke weed all the time.

    • I think that’s a great idea drugs are extremely prevalent in high school and I’m curious how much crazier yandere chan would be if she were on crack or like if you could slip the other students some LSD and make them freak out and get institutionalized or something

    • Hmm, sounds like a cool idea. But maybe it can have a negative side effect too, like reputation loss or something like that when you take them so you’re not you know, completely overpowered.

      • Sounds good. Maybe like your reputation will go down by a lot, and the kids notice you faster. Maybe drugs can be used on the rival (Kokona-Chan) Like how you put it in her food? And she gets kind-of High… So her reputation will go down and senpai should be able to notice how she’s acting, making it go down more (Might be going to far but it could be a step by step process. Like one step at a time in each update.)

    • He needs the email, it’s just people are sending stupid questions and emails that are useless. He has probably already heard of that suggestion, trust me. It won’t work. Do NOT suggest him anything related to his email problem. The only solution is for people to STOP SENDING HIM STUPID EMAILS!!!

    I think the best way to get the nurse when she is in the game to be elimated you can try catch her suducing a student and report her to the counsler or headmaster.

    I think the best way to eliminate senpai’s sister with out killing her is to try make her fall in love with another person so she be more distracted on her new bf and not senpai

      • actually he said in the FAQ that it’s not accurate, because he might add things in the future he’s not planning now

    • The people above are correct about the FAQ stating as such. YandereDev said that calculating the exact progress of the game so far would be very tedious and could possibly change very easily by using unpredictable components like volunteers and the ‘budget’ raised during his upcoming crowdfunding campaign.
      Also, YandereDev said himself that this is not a demo. A demo means trying out certain aspects of a game, and Yandere Simulatot isn’t a ‘game’ yet since it doesn’t have a fully implemented objective. These are just debug builds so that YandereDev and players can test out new features as they come out and report what bugs and issues they came across while playing.

  9. So I downloaded the game and extracted the folder and tried launching the application but it says “failed to load mono error 126” what exactly did I do wrong? My system is 32 bit and I ran as administrater but still no difference. Please help!

    • if it doesnt work after you redownloaded it a couple times download Free Download Manager, sometimes your browser thinks the download is finished when not all the files are there and Free Download Manager doesnt do that. thats what worked for me anyway

    • Uhm… Otaku does not mean “Little kid”… Otaku is someone obsessed with something, little kid is said “小さい子” (chisai ko, where ko means kid)
      You almost got Senpai right, tho: Senpai means “Upperclassman”, often in anime it is given to someone in a higher class than the protagonist.
      I’m not sure for Baku, I remember “Explosion” but I think it makes no sense…
      Anyway, yeah, it is annoying seeing those 11-years-old pretending to know how japanese culture works… fucking annoying

    • Objection is correct about ‘Senpai’ and ‘Otaku.’ However, it’s correct spelling is ‘baka’ instead of what you referred to as ‘baku.’ ‘Baka’ is a Japanese slang word that is equivalent to the English terms ‘stupid’ or ‘idiot.’ Another form of it is ‘aho’ which means the same thing except for the fact that ‘baka’ is taken more seriously in Kansai, and jokingly in Tokyo, where as ‘aho’ is taken seriously Tokyo, and jokingly in Kansai. (Also, fun fact carrying on from what Objection said about baku having to do with explosions. The word ‘bakuhatsu’ means explosions in Japanese. [There’s even a ‘hayakuchi kotoba’ that goes ‘basu, gasu, bakuhatsu’ meaning ‘bus, gas, explosion.’])

  29. Can anyone help me with a problem I have with the game.
    When I load the game up on the title screen the yandere picture is pink and the intro bit is full black and the game is just a white screen.
    I would of asked yandere dev but he said he didn’t want emails of game problems.
    I really hope someone knows what to do, I really wanna play the game

    • well i would recommend just uninstalling the build then reinstalling it because there might have been a problem with your download

  30. i have a problem while installing the game. after download i see only yandere simulator rar. file. there is no yandere simulator folder or sometimes when the folder appeared some files are missing. please help

    • It’s normally because you have a regular or old desktop or laptop. Also, the current April 4th build is 577.4 megabytes for the .rar file, and when decompressed is 1.79 gigabytes. Hust let your computer handle all the data it’s recieving.

    • Have you tried downloading it multiple times? if so, then it could just be because you don’t have enough room on your computer.

  41. (according to what yandere dev said in the FAQ) Senpai is 18 and a year above Yandere-Chan, so Yandere-Chan’s 17 or 16, she also weighs 43.5 kg (90 lbs). Now I feel overweight because i’m 45.5 kg (99 lbs) and I’m not even in my teens

  46. 80 students sounds only fine when I imagine Akademi High to be a school with three grades, two classes per grade. That makes 6 classes overall in the whole school with at least 20 students in each class, the rest 20 divided in some way that fits the scenario. The more Yandev raises the possible options in the game, the more small YanSim feels like. I mean there are 10 clubs, and each club must have at least 5 students for being functional, that means 50 out of 80 students are engaged in some club. If there are more clubs, or groups, in the end there would be no one except for Senpai who does nothing. That just feels a bit bland. Is YanSim supposed to be set in some back water place? That would at least make some sense for the low character density in the game. Otherwise the game feels quite confined with these many amazing features lined up and just a small number of students to try them all on. YanSim definitely needs a small town to loosen up the strain and confinement on the single school set up. It’s surely gonna be a difficult task to achieve all this and even more for an Indie dev, but watching all these videos and YanDev’s enthusiasm for making the gameplay filled with tons of options, I feel that that the final product should be the best of all available scenarios.

    With that said, I hope someone just comes with a forum with dedicated admins who can take the strain of the Q/A of the builds and other insignificant issues he encounters in the emails. He’s being extremely perfectionist which in turn is harming his psyche. It’s saddening to read comments where people tag him with some mental disease because it “fits the description”. Just shows being too smart is neither good for them, nor those attacked by their words.
