I have also thought of volunteering, then immediately decided against it because I’m a pretty crappy artist and I have no coding experience so it would be pretty stupid to offer him something he can’t use. Plus, I’m pretty sure a few 12 year olds do actually read the blog because they CARE what happens to the game. Your comments are invalid, because I happen to know about thirteen 12 year olds who I can openly discuss the game with INTELLIGENTLY. So shut the fuck up with your ageist comments. I understand that YandereDev wants people with professional experience, and that’s perfectly fine. But do not suggest that all 12 year olds are stupid children who cannot follow instructions.       • Yes, but COD is not for 12 year olds. It’s rated age 18. I you’re twelve, you’re not supposed to be playing that sort of stuff. I came here to find what bugs I should look out for, and so it’s not some weird hacker or some shit. YandereDev most likely means that it’s people who are highly unlikely to be skilled at graphics, or code. So they don’t fully understand how it ‘won’t fit in the game’ or ‘would distract YandereDev from creating the game’.

      • The thing is, YanDev is really busy with actually creating the game. It’s not possible for him to reply to the mass of comments he gets every single day. To give an example, I volunteer on a website and one of the people I work with is constantly flooded with comments on her contact page; she has to clear it almost every day in order to keep the messages at a manageable level and she doesn’t respond to the messages she gets unless it’s actually pertinent to the website.

        I guess what I’m trying to get at here is that YanDev isn’t capable of reading the blog and working on Yandere Simulator at the same time. He’s already stated that all bug reports and volunteer work goes through email, not through the blog. He really can’t be reading the blog all day, trying to help people out with their bugs.

  15. I Just Downloaded The Interim Build And My Custom Skins Aren’t Working. The Long Hair V.2 Doesn’t Have The Texture. The Normal Default Hair Styles Dont Have The Texture On Some Of The. ex. Long Ponytails, Short Pigtails, Three Ponytail, etc. Can you please fix this bug? I Really Want The Textures Back. Thank You.

    • 1st: If you had read, this is NOT for bugs. Bugs are to be sent in emails with good/understandable language if they aren’t already in the stuff above
      2nd: Since this is you messing with the files, This is NOT Yandere Dev’s problem.It’s not a bug. That’s like me scratching a disc and going to the company and saying they made the disc wrong. You caused the problem by messing with the files. You can get help from someone who knows how to do this, say, Go look up videos on YouTube or tutorials and follow them properly, or if you still have problems, go ask someone in that comment section on YouTube, and i’m sure someone would try to help you out.

      The important thing is, You need to read AND this is not a bug,

    • 1: Bugs do not go here. Read the HUGE image at the top of the page.
      2. Did you try to even recreate this bug? If it happened once, its not a bug. If it happens every time, it is a bug and should be properly explained and emailed, with instructions on how to recreate the bug and what you did.
      3.If you are playing around with an easter egg, it is most likely the easter eggs fault, and it is therefore NOT a bug.

      2. This isn’t really a bug. In the new build you need to join the drama club to gain access to the gloves and masks.

    • Are you in the drama club? You can ONLY wear the masks and gloves if you are currently in the drama club, so if not, then you will not be able to wear them.

    • The gym teacher is just a normal teacher that was probably added so that you don’t take advantage of students being completely blind until they set foot on school grounds and killing every single person that you can kill in the game. She will do everything like the normal teachers such as expelling you for showing how you’re really a yandere and not an innocent school girl and still pin you down when you kill someone or enter her cone of vision while holding a corpse in anyway. And the run while crouching is just a fast crouch walk.

    • That’s the point, if you could talk to them while wearing a mask they could figure out who you are and get you arrested.

  27. Found a problem. Join drama club and pick up 2 mask to the right (don’t wear it), drop it by the gloves hold E i keep on seeing the gloves come up and fall back down if you move the attach to you.

    • Forgot the tell that it works if you hit C to drop the mask second on the right on shelf by gloves.

    • That would mean a new model, new animations and stuff only for one student. This won’t probably happen, but go ahead, make a new model and animations, mod the game and you can have a ton of overweight students 😉 Or go to a psychologist with your sister, that should help too.

    • Not to be rude, but what your sister really needs is therapy. An overweight student in Yandere Simulator is NOT going to help her with the issues she’s having. And like CAT said, I really doubt Yandere Dev is going to make completely new models (and all that accompany the models) just to make different body shapes. Especially when Yandere Sim is meant to allude to the Yandere archetype in anime, and anime characters are all pretty homogeneous except for hair and bust size lol.

    • By using the scroll wheel on your mouse. I don’t think there’s a way to scroll if you don’t use a mouse.

  32. Can I report a bug if I can give exact steps which happen to do it and everything following by the bug report page, but I am using a Mac?
    Because there is a very annoying incinerator bug which makes it impossible to play with the sound because whenever I use the incinerator it starts to make the closing noise a lot, like it bugs and plays like a broken record. I am asking here in case I can’t do that so people can tell me.

    • Although I’m not entirely sure, I believe that as long as you can follow the bug report format, the fact that ir’s the Mac version shouldn’t matter in this case, it may just be something wrong with the code rendering for Mac. I would suggest reporting it, but make sure to follow the format.

    • Under the Download tab, Yandere Dev says “Yandere Simulator is a PC-only game for the foreseeable future, and I will not be releasing Mac-compatible builds of the game anytime soon.” The issues you’re having might just be a result of the builds not being compatible for Mac.

    • It is a known bug, but not in those exact words.
      “Sometimes an NPC’s path-finding will break, and they will get stuck on other NPCs or spin in circles.”
      Simply restart the day and see if that works

    • I’m on laptop too, and I think I know what you’re talking about. Do you mean the tiny pink box that appears above NPC’s heads when you’re not close enough to interact with them? If so, I think he knows that’s there. If you can’t talk to them even when you’re right next to them, and you’re ONLY getting the little box, then that’s a bug worth reporting.

      • Thanks for replying! And yeah sort of. It shows up as a box on any item until you actually reach it, then it shows up as the letter. I was watching Kubz Scouts video and it appeared there too, so I think Yandere Dev knows about it. Thanks.

    • If you’re using a mod, then the mod is to blame for the bug. Yandere Dev can’t do anything about bugs that result from the use of a mod.

    • Are you an EXPERIENCED artist over the age of 18? Remember: If you don’t think your art would be in a game produced by a professional company, then it won’t be good enough to meet Yandere Dev’s standards. If you’re experienced and over the age of 18, then email him with the subject being something like “Artwork Volunteer” and include IMPRESSIVE examples of your art style.
      If you aren’t experienced enough to help work on the game, you can always send him fanart of the rivals! Just make sure you put “Fanart” in the subject title, and I’m sure he’ll love seeing your depiction of the rivals 🙂

I wanted to ask here first because I didn’t want to email YandereDev if I could help it, but I’m playing on a Mac, and I’ve downloaded the latest build, but when I try to open it, it opens for about half a second or less and closes again. I’ve downloaded it twice but I’m faced with the same results. Is anyone else having similar problems/knows what is causing this?
