Hello! I fixed more bugs!

Fixes and Changes
- Attempted to fix bug that prevented the player from being able to access the easter egg menu in Yandere-chan’s time period, even after enabling debug commands from the Extras menu.
- Fixed bug that prevented the gravure rival’s character model from being hidden by a garbage bag if she was placed into a garbage bag after she had changed into a swimsuit.
- The price of buying Narcotics from the Yakuza now goes up every week, to reflect the fact that each rival needs to be more difficult to defeat than the last one.
- Fixed bug that caused the sculpture of elderly Kocho to be present in 1980s Mode and not present in modern day, which is the opposite of how it should be.
- Fixed bug that would cause the game to softlock if the player accepted the Martial Arts Club Leader’s Task and then spoke to Sora Sosuke in 1980s Mode.
- Fixed bug that would cause the game to totally ignore the fact that a student had been arrested, if they were arrested through the Narcotics method.
- Fixed bug that caused small black cylindrical objects hovering slightly above the ground to appear in the Sociology Classroom in 1980s Mode.
- Fixed bug that made certain modern-day Task objects (like Ryuto’s bandana) appear in 1980s Mode after accepting a student’s Task.
- Fixed bug that prevented the student council from saying their voiced lines in Yandere-chan’s time period.
- Attempted to fix bug that prevented the player from being able to use the Fan elimination method on Osana.
- Fixed bug that would cause parts of the Space Witch title screen to appear in the Miyuki title screen.
- Fixed bug that prevented a save file from appearing on the list of save files, even if it existed.
- Fixed typo that would appear when the counselor interrupted class to speak to your current rival.
- Fixed bug that caused the Yakuza to appear in the street scene in Yandere-chan’s time period.
- Fixed bug that caused Sumire’s ghost to appear in the bathroom even before she had died.
- Fixed bug that caused the Student Info screen to display the wrong student’s ID.
- Fixed bug that prevented Ryoba’s hair from having an outline in Yandere Vision.
- Fixed bug that caused the dance machine interface to be invisible.
- Students no longer read a creepy demon book in 1980s Mode.
- Added two new dolls to the doll shelf.

in old builds, the occult club of Ayano’s period readed demonic books instead of searching for hunted stuff

I would like to replay the beat-em-up minigame in 1980’s! Is it possible to implement that in? I really would enjoy that
you can load a new file and accept the task again
My game glitched out so that the delinquent would be waiting almost every day (he went away for a while but then came back) to let me play the minigame again, AND get free stuff from the Yakuza more than once
Idk how I did it but it existed in the build from the 15th
he did if u help one of the delinquents with their task it leads u to the beat em up minigame and u get to use the yakusa
If you like it just for the gameplay, you can practice if you befriend all of the delinquents in Ayano’s time period. If you still can’t practice even after befriending them, try joining them. Sorry, I don’t know the exact criteria.
i wanna suggest a feature- maybe if people see her giggle/laugh to restore sanity while looking at her phone, they wont think of her as suspicious, unless yan-chan laughs for a extended amount of time. however, if you’re trying to distract a student behind an obstacle, they will investigate no matter what. if they see you with a phone, they will go on with their day, else they will think of her as suspicious as if she was laughing in a crowd.
I understand the concept, but I wouldn’t include it in the game. Restoring sanity needs to carry some risk, and it only makes sense that a laugh could restore sanity if it was an evil, maniacal laugh, not a laugh that could be mistaken for giggling at a meme on Twitter.
Hello dev! I am running a new version of the game and I keep experiencing a bug that’s been reported but not fixed. It’s a background with trees and it interrupts my gameplay. I cannot see anything past this background. Is it possible you could try patch this? Thank you
This bug should absolutely be fixed in the latest build.

It’s a prioritization process that’s normal in game development. In order to give players the best experience , bug fixes are typically going to happen and be corrected accordingly.
Due to the fact that 1980’s is a new mode so give him some time and patience.

Hey Yandere Dev, there’s a thing In 1980s mode that’s really confusing, when I try to take a photo like normal, it just shows up as a first- person-type situation, it won’t let me take photos of students and stuff, and I was wondering if you could try and fix that? I don’t know if anyone else is having this problem but it’s really annoying and I was wondering if you could fix it! thank you for reading my comment
You can only take a photo in 1980s Mode if you join the Photography Club first.

I’m not sure what happens but I still can’t join club, gossip, etc. Does anyone has the same problem like me?
Are the options popping up and you cannot choose them or you cannot talk to students at all?
I can still do tasks, but the other options are not responding even they are available
Well the only thing that comes to my mind is that you are not moving your mouse to choose an option. So when you talk to a student and the menu with the options comes up you move your mouse in the direction of the option you want to choose and then you press “E”. If it’s not that then I don’t know what your problem might be.
The mouse is not available for choosing options as it is use to rotate the screen around. That’s okay, thank you anyway, I might wait until a few builds coming out

Hey, YanDev I just wanted to ask if there is a possible ending where Senpai actually falls in love with Ryoba and is not kidnaped and forced to live the rest of his life in misery. Because i tried everything to trigger that type of ending, even killing the detective with explosives(he is invincible as I now know) .So is it possible or I should give up trying?
But the canon one is the “true ending”, right? I think if there’s any lovey dovey ending with senpai, the future’s timeline (ayano’s story) might be changed. (i guess…?)
Yes I do understand that might change the story line but doesn’t “true ending” imply that there is a “fake” one. I mean I won’t be that upset if there isn’t but I wanted to know if I should keep trying.

I wonder if players would be okay with some kind of non-canon “alternate timeline” ending.
Perhaps, if you meet very specific criteria, you get to confess to Senpai at the end.
It would result in the creation of a timeline where Ayano is never born, but maybe some players are willing to pay that price.

Yandere dev, i don’t know if it’s normal but i upgraded the game to this latest build it’s weird, i was at rival 10, i open the game and in the week screen i had only number 4 in every day, i entered I went to school and there was none of the rivals, and together with senpai there was a boy with blue hair who talked to him with the same interactions as rivals

YanDev, you should really add the possibility to skip to night without going to school. This would allow a player to skip to the evening and go working or reading some mangas without needing to go to school that day. You would still keep the study points tho, like if you skipped just half of the day.
Hmm. It’s a fair suggestion. I should probably add this to the game. But…through what interface would the player skip to night?

In the tutorial, I brought Sumire’s corpse into the woodchipper instead of incinerator, put a bucket beside it and activated. Then the incinerator didn’t let me dump anything in anymore. I knew the tutorial shouldn’t work that way, but it’s just to let you know.
You can take a shower and change clothes, wash a knife with a water fountain, and instead of disposing blood stained clothes, you can put it into the washing machine, but after doing all of these, you can’t move onto the next step with the message on the top saying “Press T to spawn trail,” only to find the trail leads to where the incinerator is located, which you can’t do nothing with.
other than weapons and underwear, anything i buy from the town in 1980s mode is unusable including yakuza items
You have to use the “Bring Item To School” menu.

Can you please add an option to change the 1980s mode uniform to the default white one because when I try to play the 1980s mode the uniform doesn’t appear only the hair appears and there’s just black lines where the uniform is meant to be this also happens on the normal ayano mode as well for all the uniforms except the white one and also mission mode it happens to all the girl characters except for the rival
It also happens with the gym outfit the towel and the swimsuit
The black lines indicate that your graphics card is too old to be supported by the game engine.
when i’m playing in the school, the game doesn’t fully load and it shows the background of the map, like a forest, anyone knows what to do?

Relating issues from this build, I played the 1989 mode
[BUG] I disable bloom but it keep getting re-enabled every new day
[BUG] during lunch time I can steal my rival’s bento from her bag AFTER she’s already eating it. The bento magically disappears from her hand after that.
[BUG] when I kill my rival hitting her with the fire extinguisher while she’s facing me, stats will indicate that I was seen stained with blood. There’s a blood splashing animation but my clothes don’t get bloody and she’s the only one who saw the animation, but is dead, she couldn’t testify about that.
[SUGGESTION] E button to push from the rooftop is a bad idea. If you’re trying to talk to a student you can accidentally kill them. The option to push should appear if you’re disarmed and triggered by the F button
[INCONSISTENCY] Hose Shiruba name is wrong.
The info says his real name is José Silva. In Japanese the adaptation of the Brazilian name José is Joze (ジョゼ). The surname Silva in Brazilian Portuguese is adapted as Shiuba (シウバ). To read the katakana in romaji you just have to paste in google translator.
[UNBALANCED] I can do the assignment for my rival, earn the reputations points needed, go to class and after that she can follow me to an empty room. It’s easy to kill her that way.
Now bugs I saw with the 2nd rival, don’t know if this happens with the others
– during lunch time at Monday I put a note in her locker to see me at 3:30PM, I send her to the locker and she says she will meet me. I go to class and when it’s 3:30PM she’s stuck doing cleaning time and refuses to talk. After cleaning time is over she’s still stuck in the same place.
– I restarted the day and tried again two times, during before class period, but she goes to the location and the option to talk about the problem doesn’t show up.

Yan-Chan’s old design is so pretty! I think it has a more memorable silhouette than her current design as well. The little hair tufts could look kind of like horns when she’s silhouetted out, which I think would be pretty cool. I do understand that it’s probably WAY too late to change Yan-Chan’s design, but a girl can always hope that maybe one day some sort of poll will be posted.

I’m not sure how to recreate this bug but it has come to my attention that the “trail” will sometimes lead to the kidnapping room instead of the classroom whenever Ayano has just kidnapped someone.
(It will usually go back to normal after going to class so its a big deal.)
BTW, I think “spawn trail” is one of the most convenient mechanics in the game!
An issue. It’s impossible ti use the sedactive with Moeko. I pour sleeping sedactive in her bentou, on thursday. At lunch time, she eat the bento and go run until nursing. But she continues meet with senpai just in time to see a movie
I was wondering why the student council is only made of boys in 1980s mode. I know why there are only girls in the student council in the modern mode. But why is the student council made up of boys in 1980s mode?
(my theory) I feel that that’s because just recently women started getting rights so it makes more since the only club also with a female leader is the female delinquents

Yandere Dev i found these bugs: 1st week I increased all chem statistic on Mondays and Tuesdays, but I can’t catch lethal poison in the science lab on Wednesday morning of 1st week. 2nd bug: I entered the photography club and cannot use the camera with the mouse or the X box controller. 3rd bug: I deleted the match and started over, went to the 1st week of the rival and went to school and I see a thug from the Yakuza spawn near the fountain at 07:00 and when he changes his shoes they become 5 delinquents. These 3rd bugs can be found in 1980 Mode
Bug for 2022 mode: In debug mode, Osana’s convo with Senpai ends too early. This might be triggered by Ayano standing too close to them, however. (I didn’t stand close to them for a long time. I just walk up to them and they stop)
I do sometimes wonder how long it would take to get the other Basement tapes made. I do find it interesting as these tapes being scattered throughout the school and Yandere-Chans house. It provides the player with interesting lore, yet also makes the player work for it. For example. If you want the journalist tapes you’ll have to run around the entire school map just to find them. And they’re very useful.
I obtained the S+ rank today on my first try eliminating them all!! I had extra study points (a hundred of them) and i had an idea like what about ryoba-chan tutoring students using her study points to gain more rep and credibility? just an idea of mine. HAHA

I found a bug for the first rival (idk if this is actually a bug but) i sedated the 1st rival and she ran to the infirmary. i got to class and she was there. fast forward to 5:15, she went to a movie with senpai… but the screen after u go home said i successfully sabotaged her that day? idk maybe im the only one, did anyone also experience this too?
I have an theory for an ayano ending?? its either info-chan ruins you by exposing you to everyone (because she cant expose herself obvi) or you’ll be forced to kill her after finding out the history between her and the journalist (personally, i think info-chan is a much more bigger rival compared to the 10 girls because she knows everythingggg)
The student council bois arent as intimidating as the 2022 girls. Maybe it’s because i know that the student council in 2022 know shit about me but the 1980 bois don’t and that makes them look so like unintimidating which is normal i think because megami never recruited bois for her team (i think its bcoz maybe she sees them as much inferior to her since they were unable to stop ryoba)

Hello, is H for changing hair in debug mode right? Because i’m trying to use the debug mode but it’s not working and neither the key next to the enter for displaying the debug menu (saw the controls on youtube so maybe im wrong). Don’t know if it’s a bug or i’m doing some wrong. (I already beat the demo and went to the part to type debug and press enter and the R key to quick start appeared)
These are the controls that work for me so they must be right. I had a similar problem where I couldn’t use debug commands even if I activated them and what I found as a rule is that every time I start a file from the main menu I had to activate debug commands before that, if I exit that file and start a new one without activating(by typing “debug” in Extras) they were just not active. So I suspect that might be a part of your problem, but if it is not I am sorry you had to read through all this.
Yes, that’s what I’m doing, every time i go to the main menu I activate the debug by typing “debug” in Extras and pressing enter. After activating them I go to create a new game and I see that now it lets me use R to quickstart the game. However, once I’m in the game, I cannot use any debug feature even tho I activated it just before and started the game using R (I tried without using the R key to start the game normally and it also doesn’t work)
Is there anyone like me? When i play YanSim, first it’s ok but after that it has always …. (frozen?) i can hear the sound but can’t move ( sorry if i wrote something wrong)
