Oops! The previous build had some bugs in it. Time to release an update!

Fixes, Changes, Additions
- Attempted to fix bug that would cause characters to spawn with bald heads and the maid minigame tip screen to only display the number “$55.55” if the player was playing the game in a country that uses “,” instead of “.” for decimal points.
- Fixed bug that would cause characters to rotate in strange ways or fail to pathfind properly if the player aimed a camera at them while they were investigating something suspicious on the ground.
- The science club students should now be much less likely to get stuck when trying to enter the booth to change out of their lab coat.
- Fixed bug that caused pickpocketing minigame and combat minigame button prompts to be too blurry to read at low quality settings.
- Fixed bug that would cause the “Set Trap” prompt to disappear if a door had been used for a bucket trap earlier in the day.
- Fixed bug that caused some female students’ bodies to look deformed when playing the game at “Low” quality settings.
- Fixed bug that would allow Yandere-chan to pour gasoline into a bucket that was already full of another liquid.
- Two students who were out of alphabetical order in the Alphabet Killer Challenge are now in proper order.
- Fixed bug that caused the framerate to drop significantly after playing the Light Music Club minigame.
- Fixed bug that prevented the camera from properly following Yandere-chan during an attack animation.
- It should now be impossible for Nemesis to disguise herself as one of your targets in Mission Mode.
- Fixed bug that would cause bullies to get stuck in the locker room after sunbathing on Wednesday.
- Fixed bug that caused a bucket’s button prompt to appear underground if it flipped upside-down.
- Fixed bug that caused the heavy weight to get stuck on top of the dumbells in the gym closet.
- Fixed bug that prevented Light Music Club members from spawning with the right stockings.
- Completing a task for a delinquent will no longer improve your reputation.

YandereDev, I find it peculiar that so many bugs arise in regard to countries using a comma to separate decimal points.
Could you explain why some bugs are so specific to countries using the comma instead of the dot?
Maybe it has to do with numbers, when the computer reads the , as a . it can mess things up. But then again, I don’t know for a fact and am just guessing
I can explain.
Basically, in C#, if we do not specify the type of decimal symbol we’re expecting, windows will be default use the one from the player, however in json, the ‘,’ is made to separate options, so while reading numbers, the parser wouldn’t recognize the . as a valid decimal symbol in these countries, it would break things
From what I know about programming, any wrong symbol used may change the way the program is working. Now I’m at my begining of learning programming so I’m not sure. I know that when I changed things in the JSON file and forgot a comma, all the students disappeared.
And… I think it matters because the computer reads in the language it is set up. So the symbol has a different role.
I hope that I could help and that I wasn’t wrong. If somebody wants to correct me, please do it in a kind way and not in a rude one. ;^;

I always thought it was impossible for Nemesis to be your target !! Imagine you set her at “disquised” and at “invicible” then try to complete the mission ! It would be funny, buuuuuuut I’m glad it’s fixed, it would only frustrate people
It says: “It should now be impossible for Nemesis to disguise herself as one of your targets in Mission Mode.”
As long as I can remember, Nemesis could never be your target in Mission Mode. The post talks about Nemesis disguising are your target. So, if your target is Kokona, Nemesis cannot disguise as Kokona.
She has appeared as one of my targets in “Multi Mission” before

Hello yandere dev! this build has really made a huge difference for me! thank you for your hard work!💜✨i got an 8gb ram and 2gb graphic card laptop and the game in this build is running on 45 to 65 fps with ambient occlusion on, rim lighting and outlines on with no low settings(no low particle count, distant animations off, anti aliasing,post aliasing set to max and bloom on) whereas older builds gave around maximum 15 to 25 fps. oh there is a bug i would like to report tho: when an heroic student witnesses yan chan commit murder and yan chan immediately kills them the struggle fight minigame is triggered and thr game softlocks right after “you won’t get away with this” sentence appears.. this happens when the heroic student witnessed yan chan commit murder and yan chan killed the heroic student while the struggle minigame is to be triggered.

okay, so i had the abselute STRANGEST DREAM involving Sakyu and Inkyu Basu. i might have forgotten some of it, but illl try to remember as much as possible.
so, in my dream Sakyu was a killer, and it started with her murdering people in very VERY strange ways, some of them werent even people! they went up to my attic and Sakyu said, ¨do you ever come up here to watch anime at 2:00 AM?¨ which is something i thought i did in my dream. (i watch anime in my closet, not my attic.) there was still some strange events involving, a ¨boys and girls club¨ and you were not able to enter the female club (it might have been that because one of my other dreams involved a sleepover in a female club) and then there was a cooking club incident where Sakyu told everyone to go away then killed someone in there. (it was positioned on my front porch for some reason) and then there was some ¨final battle¨ that involved Sakyu killing a bunch of students to not have her exposed as a murderer. in the end, Inkyu jumped off a shrug (??) and somehow died, as a suicide because she didnt want to be in a world with a murderer as her sister. then a nightcoe version of 10000 hours started playing in the credits screen.
keep in mind Ayano was nowhere in this dream.
also not my first dream about Yandere Simulator.

Love this game so damn much that it’s like my Dr. Pepper addiction. Cannot wait to play it later. I also sent you the steps to that Horuda problem in a reply, Yandere Dev. I hope that somewhat helps. I’m all about improving feedback like I said. Be as brutally honest as you want with what I sent you. I still love the your work.
I’m not going to lie, the grass was so real in the last build that it’s so real that the way it moves is intimidating. I’m scared to go onto the grass now in that game because it reminds me of a horror movie description. Imagine taking a step on that moving grass and you get placed into a field of long grass but the maze keeps changing when you try to find the exit but stuck in a continuous time loop (sorry, I don’t remember the movie nor am I trying to suggest ideas).
Has the grass improved in this build of the game? How is the grass in this build different from the grass in the previous build?

If I sound condescending or have a negative tone in this post or anymore posts today, I don’t mean to. I’m just in a bad mood because my business partner maybe a scammer and I just got dragged into his scheme.
I haven’t played the recent build yet. I didn’t notice the grass moved until the 15th build. I was just making an observation.
It was also weird in general because when there was the big breast problems, it started out with all females as normal as before. Then, everytime I had to redo the challenge, breasts started growing and Kokona’s breasts technically imploded by the 3rd time. Some things I didn’t notice before perhaps because my screen resolution and graphic quality was low meaning a little blurry. So, I probably just didn’t notice those glitches even though I’ve read about them before he fixed them.

Idk anything about this or if anyone has complained about it in the past, but when Ayano starts running,her skirt flies up and shows her legs (like, ALL of her legs, ya know?), and some students I’ve seen will “drift” out of their classroom still in a sitting position until I walk up to them. Glitches or bugs, I’m not sure but it doesn’t affect my gameplay soidk if you want to fix those problems.
If Ayano’s skirt flies up whilst running – I think it’s just lag, as it happens to me too.
The students drifting out of their classrooms whilst in a sitting position is probably because the distance animation setting is on – meaning that if you’re not in the distance; the characters will just drift and be in the position they were in before they stopped animating; if you know what I mean ^^;

yandere dev when the transperant windows are disable why just the windows in the 2nd and 3rd floor are disable?
so everytime i try to unzip the latest folder, it always says its empty and that i need to put files into it. but in order to do that i need to open the folder, which i can’t do because it says its invalid. does anyone know why this is happening? (also ive tried a lot of links but the same thing keeps happening)
no it happens to me to go to the download launcher when it finishes go to show in folder then export files then if you get the game open plzz tell me if you can play when you install it because i cant

When is Unity2020 Build coming out?
Unity (the company) is setup such that established projects use “LTS” (Long Term Support) versions. Those occur at the end of the year. In other words, Unity won’t have a version of Unity 2020 that they recommend for older projects until the end of the year. Unity wants projects to use LTS versions so that they’re free to make breaking changes (like removing old modules) during the other releases.

Im not going to lie i fell off from this and was like oh i guess they stopped working on the game read this update and holy shiii this is great
Can anyone help? I don’t want to bother yandev with this because I’m the only one with this problem. When I use the launcher to download the game, the download bar reaches the end as normal then a notice pops up saying it was unable to install. I’ve tried different downloads of the launcher and my computer has been able to run the game previously. Any help is appreciated ❤
You need to download the launcher that was just released.
I found another few bugs yesterday where if you are in the lowest settings and giggle, during lunch, if Senpai hears the giggle when he sits back down, his hair sits down before he does.
Another one I found is that when you go home with customized stuff from the easter egg room (I was messing around with it when I found this out) and when you go home with the lowest settings, Senpai follows the settings and has no animation and is blue, but his hair again is not on his head but instead a little bit lower and in front of his face.
The last one is when you teleport to the roof for lunch, the time resets back to seven or eight AM and you have to restart the day, but everyone performs their lunch actions and it will say “lunch time” and this doesn’t stop until you stop teleporting to the roof during lunch.
I’m not sure if this has to do with the settings or not, but I’m just letting you know so you can fix it

@Beyou Black The one where senpai is blue doesn’t have anything to do with Easter Eggs, I have that happen even when I don’t use Easter eggs. Also, YandereDev doesn’t fix bugs that are from Easter Eggs, since they won’t be in the final game. 😊
Even though they won’t be in the final game, it still kinda sucks in the debug. And the blue thing is in one of the settings, you can control that. It’s the hair thing that’s the bug, not them turning blue.

Yandere Dev you can read this comment is important, you can add weapons in the yandere simulator shop because they are used for Yandere Chan to buy weapons and use them for school. Yandere Dev can you add this feature for the next Yandere Simulator update please?
If you would like something added to the game, maybe email him. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t reply or even see these. Just don’t send him TONS of them so he doesn’t get overwhelmed. Hope this helps!
Hey, I’m just curious yandere dev, so you said that if you reported a student for misconduct, the guidance counselor would go over to their class and drag them to her office. Does that mean that while she is going to get the student, you will be able to go inside the office and place a bug or something, or even steal her phone? It would make sense that you would be able to get her phone if you can get inside since she would likely have it there I guess… if u don’t want to add this, it’s fine, i just thought that the player being able to do this would make sense or something, I dunno… eh, stay safe from corona!
I find it curious that I only see “, instead of .” bugs only after the release of C# Aurora.

Hello yandere dev, I was looking at a lot of your progress and I remember being excited for the new school uniforms. I liked them cause they were unique. I was wondering if you were still going to use them because my friend was going to make Fanart and was wondering if you are adding the new uniforms.
yandere dev I am writing this post to tell you that I was playing the new version and it was all right I go into the settings and I press it from there I see it ugly and when I go to school the characters stop having their animation of camintta and divet at times of the pink girls and the blue boys because it’s not resolved even by resetting the day and now I’m quite busy but I’m sure you will be able to solve thanks in advance and I’m wrong they were setting to improve the frame rate ps there is someone who in my same problem
It’s not a bug, it is what has to happen if you want the frame rate to improve.
In fact this thing happened to me but now I ask you how can I remove this type of setting if I don’t want it anymore? I would not want to keep it like this until the next update since there is not even a button to restore the previous settings so how do I solve?
Hm, good question.
I suggest starting a new game – so then it refreshes everything and hopefully puts the setting back.
If you don’t know how to, just press “New Game” on the main menu – if I am not mistaken.
Anyway I managed to solve everything in order I took another yandere Simulator version a bit older and I copied the settings from there it’s all solved some of these after pressing l had been changed and I restored them then all in place false alarm
But in my opinion yandere Dev should put a button that after you click this thing there is a counter button that should reset everything as a factory reset or remove it permanently because this setting is very dangerous I hope that one day it will completely remove it

I have an idea:
Why not instead of having characters who have to change their clothes to go to their club (ex: Science Club) circle around while waiting for other students to get dressed, have an animation for being on their phone or looking around or something that makes it more realistic for if someone was actually waiting in a line? If that huge sentence makes any sense
Good suggestion! And yes, that sentence does make sense haha!
Everytime i try load the game the game crashes a second after the crash handler shows up and i have tried all sorts of graphics settings.
As mentioned on the crash page (yanderesim.com/crash) if even the lowest graphic setting doesn’t work for you this is an indication that your computer simply doesn’t have enough RAM to run the game or you probably need to wait until a newer build is released that requires less RAM.
Don’t worry though! You can play older builds! I hope that helps!

The issue may be a difficult one to fix. YandereDev did mention that he attempted to fix it – let’s hope that it does fix soon!
Oh and the debug menu doesn’t work at all now I can’t press anything on the computer it doesn’t do anything

I cant download the game, it say smt about limitation of download from my IP? I only downloaded it once this far (the last version with the bugs). The other download options also don’t work..
This happened to me for a couple days. I think it could that one of the previous updates is still unavailable, which is weird because mine finally worked. If it’s a download and not an update, try making sure that the previous launcher is actually deleted and not sitting in the trashcan (so clear it out) and if it’s an update, hate to say it but you might have to uninstall/delete and make sure that trashcan is deleted, and then reinstall the launcher. It’s early and I like just woke up so I’m sorry if it doesn’t make sense lol

Some games take 10+ years. So maybe stop complaining about this and actually do something that doesn’t involve you hating on a game that is making normal progress for someone who is making their FIRST GAME. It doesn’t make sense, people like you are just slowing down the progress the game is making. Yandere dev made a video about a year ago, stating that people like you SLOW DOWN THE GAMES DEVELOPMENT. (The video is called ‘Hate and Shame’ if you’re wondering.) I’ve been following the game sense 2014 or 2015 and I have been PATIENTLY waiting for the game, knowing that some games made by single devs take many years.
You’re right, games like gta, resident evil, etc, take less than 10 years of development but it is because they are more than one person, instead yandere simulator is carried out by one person, therefore it takes time, but if we continue to rush yanderedev the game It will remain as a garbage but if we have patience it will remain as a work of art.
In conclusion, people needs to learn to have patience. (sorry my bad english)
I agree. And your English is fine! This virus will test us. It will show us what we lack and patience is what some haters and fans lack as I’m seeing in the comments. Plus, people don’t realize that Yandere Dev has a life outside of this game. For example, he needs to eat, sleep, and keep up on his hygiene. He also has hobbies/relaxation time he would like to enjoy to cool down after a day’s work. This is also known as self-care. I have seen his work schedule from just googling it and those are a lot of hours. I hope he is getting a good rest after he works. I one time got an email from him maybe about 4 am (I think) to include steps for that Horuda glitch I caught. Why was I up at 4 am (I think and we live in the same time zone)? I woke up to my cat puking even though I’m a night-owl and I tend to wake up during the night anyways because certain dreams keep bothering me lately.
