For a very long time, I’ve wanted to create a short manga that provides some information about Nemesis, the mysterious girl who hunts the player in Mission Mode. Recently, a very talented artist named Vanelover from the art group Ditzy Gast volunteered to turn that manga into a reality!
The manga is titled “Retribution”, and although it’s only 7 pages long, it reveals Nemesis’ motivation and identity!
It’s formatted in the style of a traditional Japanese manga, so remember to read the panels from right to left!

In mission mode, you aren’t killing for love. You’re hired to assassinate. Therefore, killing people who have a crush on Senpai doesn’t matter unless they are your target. Since it has a different reason for killing it’s safe to say this may be Hanako from another universe.
But what if Ayano kills him in SNAP mode? It would make sense for a yandere to do so, once senpai would never notice/like her she would kill him so no one else could have him.
It makes sense, sweet bubbly Hanako’s brother was her world and maybe the death of her brother “hardened” her in a way. She became bitter and trained and swore revenge on whoever killed her amazing big brother.
Woah. Do either this is another sister of Taro, or Nemesis is Hanako? Either way, it looks AWESOME
In a way, I’m disappointed. All theories previously kept the identity of Nemesis mysterious, and the motives were hidden. But now there is no secret.
You are right, but such an important character needs a cool backstory.
She might become a character in the story “mode” of Yandere Simulator!
It still does leave space for theorizing, it just adds a little more background to make it more interesting. Would you rather we heard nothing about Nemesis ever and she has no space to grow character development?

Can someone give me a valid reason why nemesis, a nothing but an obsticle in an alternate universe, in a game mode that’s nowhere near being canon, whose sole purpose is to make the mission harder for the player, was ever in need of a backstory?
Or is it that yandere dev needs to throw in another character whose relative is an important character, just to give them motivation for doing literally anything?

I’m chill. All I’m asking is why she needed a backstory when it was never necessary for her to have one. It just ruins her by giving us a backstory. She is supposed to be an unstoppable force with no known weakness or idea of who she is. Now that we know who she is and her goals it makes her not as intimidating.

I couldn’t see Hanako turn to the dark side, but it makes since if during mission mode Senpai is dead. It also kinda explains on why she always tries to kill us in mission mode. I love all the backstory you put into Yandere Simulator. It makes the game so much more fun for me to follow and watch 😁😁.
