Hi again! The previous build didn’t have any super-critical bugs in it, but I fixed a lot of problems today, so I decided to create an updated build.

There are two types of people in the world: people who will instantly get the joke, and people who have never experienced the greatest meme of 2008.
Fixes and Changes
- If a club leader witnesses the player commit murder, that club leader will refuse to allow Yandere-chan to join their club. I fixed a bug that prevented a club leader from speaking the correct line of dialogue when this was supposed to be happening.
- Updated the voiced lines that the teachers use when Yandere-chan is trespassing. Their lines are now more general, so that the lines can apply to a broader variety of situations (instead of talking exclusively about trespassing in classrooms.)
- It is no longer possible to use the “Send Home” service on a student if that student doesn’t have their cell phone with them (for example, if they are wearing swimming trunks or a martial arts gi).
- Fixed bug that would cause the “End of Day” sequence to repeat itself endlessly if the player stole Sakyu Basu’s ring, put it in Kokona’s bag, and then killed Kokona and disposed of the body.
- Fixed bug that would cause characters to retain certain objects in their hands (like watering cans) when receiving a “Send Home” text from Info-chan.
- Fixed bug that caused a bully to try and sunbathe inside of a locker if she heard a giggle while on her way to sunbathe at the school pool.
- Fixed bug that was causing Student Council members to be unable to tell whether or not a door was locked / room was unable to be entered.
- Fixed bug that was preventing the “lower / deactivate particle effects” setting to take effect for the steam in the boys’ locker room.
- Fixed bug that would cause a student to behave strangely if they witnessed murder while performing a “react to camera” animation.
- Updated the names/portraits/text that appear on the social media page when exposing Kokona for compensated dating.
- Moved Kokona’s bookbag to the location of her new seat. (It might continue to change in the future, though.)

I have a question:
You said that Yandere-Chan could probably join the Student Council (if that ever becomes a feature in the game) under some circumstances (always on time on class, high reputation etc…). But how will she be able to join if Megami hates her, will Kuroko allow her to join and then Megami would kick her out when her week arrives?
From what I remember in Student Council video YandereDev said that if you would be in a student council in 10th week, you will have a new method of getting close to Megami.
Also, Megami is only suspicious of YanChan. She doesn’t have any proofs against her. And imagine that 10th week of the game and Megami would be just like “Ok Students, I have to kick out this hard working girl that didn’t do anything wrong, just because I have a bad feeling about her.” I think it would ruin her reputation. A lot.
I know it has nothing to do with the update but it was just a sudden lightbulb I have, Rojasu and/or Sukubi either just liking or even having a crush on Amai because if they’re based of Shaggy and Scooby, I love to imagine they have a love for food like them. I dunno, just a dumb thought, haha. or maybe they just enjoy her food, no crush. Free samples from her would be the best day for them.

1) How long were you working on the designs and personalities for the club leaders?
2) Do you already have answers to the rumors, and mysteries around the student council, the cherry blossom tree, the investigator, etc.?
3) Will the investigator’s daughter (the one from the tapes) have a role or be shown in the final game? Have we already seen her?
4) Would you consider changing the AR mode activator button to something else? I keep pressing it accidentally while trying to take a pic and it makes it look kinda weird.
1) They come to mind very quickly; when I think of things like “Occult Club” or “Science Club”, I immediately imagine a very distinct-looking group of people.

Hi yan-dev I got a idea for you, when you are nude in the bathroom you cant get out by walking but if you tp you can walk in the school, I think when Yan-chan gets undressed the debug commands dont show up.
TP? Teleport? I won’t fix bugs that involve debug commands.
I have some questions:
1) Will Yan-chan wear an apron after joining Cooking Club like the rest of the members?
2) Will the changing room in Gaming Club have a purpose or is it just a temporal decor?
3) Drama Club substitute leader says we can change our costume if we join. Does that mean Yan-chan will eventually have the ability to change her clothes for performance (but she won’t completely get disguised to prevent being disguised as a different person)?
4) What is Drama Club room for? Because Drama Club members only go there to talk but they spend most of their time in auditorium. Will the room serve more things to do in the future?
5) I know that Photography Club members question Yan-chan like every student when school’s atmosphere drops if she is not part of their club. But why doesn’t Yan-chan get octodogs from Cooking Club members when she is not a member of Cooking Club? Wouldn’t it make more sense to serve her octodogs like the rest of students (because it currently makes her somewhat isolated)? Or maybe serve her octodogs when she gets really close to Cooking Club members with octodogs.
6) Will number of octodogs on plates which Cooking Club members holding diminish as they serve them?
6) Will we eventually find out what Enlightenment (the one you level up when you read mangas) does?
7) How long until the next tape is in the game?
8) Will Rival Introduction video ever get an updated version (because I heard that Amai’s name may not be final)?
I’ll answer 5 questions.
1) She already wears the kerchief, that’s good enough. Making her wear an apron would cause game design problems, since she’d have to worry about removing it when it’s been splattered with blood.
2) The idea is that, eventually, it will be used for cosplay.
3) The feature is coming eventually.
4) I’ve been struggling to come up with good ideas for the Drama Clubroom. I don’t want characters to spend all day in their clubrooms, since then they aren’t obstacles to the player. However, if clubs never visit their clubrooms, then clubrooms are kinda pointless. I really don’t know what the Drama Club might do inside of their clubroom…
5) The Cooking Club only hands out food to students who have “signed up” to receive free food. Yandere-chan isn’t on the list of students who want to receive food.
4) At my college, we have two stages, one for larger productions and one for more intimate ones. Perhaps the Drama Club is working on two separate productions.
Alternatively, you mentioned that one of the drama club students likes making short films. Perhaps the clubroom is used as a film studio, while the gym is used for traditional theater. Putting filming equipment in the drama clubroom opens up other possibilities. Perhaps Yan-Chan can borrow equipment from there to use for some of the more nonlethal methods of elimination instead of always needing to buy things from Info-Chan.
If you use either of these suggestions, it creates the possibility that the drama club might split up, some in one room and some in the other. They may even travel back and forth between the stages individually instead of them always moving in a herd. More varied routines creates more opportunities, both to be seen and to pull various tricks.
So thrilled at how the game is evolving! Everything feels so alive now!

I’m not surprised that Monica likes “removing students”.
What if Yan-chan’s parents sent her letters or emails throughout the game? The mother could give Yan-chan tips on committing murder and other cruel ways of eliminating rivals, while the father could give advice on the more peaceful methods like befriending. I just think this could be a neat way to involve Yan-chan’s parents more while also giving the player good advice on enjoying the game to the fullest, since players might not have had the chance to watch your videos on the subjects.
That’s a super cool idea!

Yeah, I should do that, but it’s hard to decide exactly where the rose should go. If it’s on her head, it could clip into some of her hairstyles. If it’s on her chest, it could clip into some of the outfits. It’s a little difficult to decide.
Maybe it could go on her neck as a necklace or on her wrist as a bracelet. Or perhaps she could wear a small rose earring.

Hey Devpai, me again! When I tell Riku about what Kokona likes, the next day he comes back to school looking the same as he did on the day I told him what Kokona likes!

Something I noticed is that Kokona leaves the gym at 5:15 pm and leaves the school. The same goes for Riku, but he leaves at 5:30 pm.
Kokona needs to travel to the lockers at 5:15 and leave a note for Riku to receive shortly later in the day.

1. Will Muja and Mida’s Suitors be male faculty members?
2. When you add routines for the Occult and Martial Arts Clubs that will have them leave their clubrooms, will you also have the Gardening Club members water plants outside the school?
3. Since you said that you have big plans for the Light Music Club does that mean they will have a persona that will be new to the game?
4. Will implementing the Guidance Counselor be easier than a club?

1. Hi Yandere Dev, hope you enjoy the shorter typed out version of a persona I thought would help the difficulty of the game! If this student witnesses you murdering somebody and if they’re on the same floor as a room they visit in their schedule (Club, classroom, etc) then they would run to that room, lock the door, and call the police. To unlock the door Yandere Chan could possibly do a mini game or learn it from the delinquents once building a good relationship with all of them or a subject, hope this is helpful!
2. Will the clubless students have a schedule making it harder for Yandere Chan like the other students or would it be similar to the rainbow six?
3. After the fun raiser would fans have some type of influence over the game? Like for example having a poll for whether we’d want to have certain objects or events in the game.
4. Where does frame rate fall on your priorities list?
