The next build is almost ready! I’ll provide some information about it:
- Eight new characters have been added to the game.
- Three of the new characters are club leaders.
- One of the game’s previous characters has been turned into a club leader.
- All four of these club leaders have a full set of voiced lines for all of their club-related dialogue.
- Three clubs which previously existed in an empty/incomplete state are now fully implemented.
- Each of the characters in these clubs have unique routines that make them different from other students that have been in the game up until this point.
- One of the new characters has a Task – it’s the first time I’ve added a new Task to the game since September of 2016.
- After this build, only one club will remain to be implemented!
All of the programming work is done, but I still need to implement a few 3D models before the build is 100% ready. Then I’ll make a video and upload the new build! The next video might be more elaborate than usual, so you may have to wait a few days for it to come out. It’s currently too early for me to predict how long it’s going to take.

It’s the bullies! They’re peeking into one of the rooms at school. They certainly appear to be transfixed by something…but what exactly are they staring at?

OMG! Thank you for doing this great work! I’m really excited about it! I hope New build will come in 2, 3 days. I’m very considering what bullies are doing! And I have a question. Are you going to do something cool with library? Like you said in previous answers, non-leathlly eliminated rivals will be in library. That would be such a great feature! I’m really excited about new task! Maybe after finishing all clubs (only one remeining <3) you could make new tasks for students! Lets make Akademi High lively and the best school!!!

If you end up changing the characters models, are you going to give each character an unique way to use their uniform to make them look more unique, as you said in the past?
Ideally, the ability to easily accomplish this would be an aspect of the new character models.

I wonder which previous Character is now a Club Leader and what club that person would lead (unless it’s just Shin… we already got that in a previous Preview).
Some random guys are the Substitute Club Leaders for both Drama and Cooking… eh, there goes my theory that Kokona and Saki will be the Substitute Leaders :P.
It’s interesting that the cooking guys face is hidden… could it be, that it’s someone we know? (maybe it’s YandereDev, giving himself a cameo in his own game and as an apology for always killing Kokona-chan in the past his routine involves giving her a little treat every day and make sure she won’t be alone for Ayano to kill

Drama, Cooking, and Gaming have been added? That’s awesome! I can’t wait for this update, I’m glad the bullies finally have swimsuits, also glad Mai Waifu and Midori won’t just stand on the roof all day. This school is really filling up. 11 characters wow I was expecting 4! The 3 new drama club members and Gema Taku. I see why this update is taking so long now.

1) they are playing that wierd princess game from the last preview which would also stop the player from hiding bodies in the toilet
2)the cooking club are being implemented and will visit every student in school including yanchan which will make it harder to kill and dispose of corpses
3) stabbing someone while in the drama club wil be considered as acting and not be seen as suspicious.
4) they could be watching watching on of their vitems reporting them to the guidence councelor
5)osanas pool elimination method has been made harder and also asu ritos elimination has been made harder due to an increase of people at the swimming pool.
Yay the drama club! I can’t wait for this new update~ I’ve only recently discovered Yandere Simulator about 3 weeks ago and my might I say it has been an intriguing experience. I’ve been focusing on this game since and still trying to learn more about it. Although it isn’t finish yet, I’m already having high expectation for the full version! You’re amazing at your work! Very nice placement of phone addicts around Osana’s route! Keep up the good work and take your time with the updates!
I would love to see different club activities every day of the week, e.g. cooking different things in the cooking club or rehearsing different plays in the drama club, but these are just small details, so doubt they have high peiority.
Rambling aside, I love how much the update rate improved for the game! Please take care of yourself and stay motivated!

Hey ! thank for you hard work, i have a question, you said that in the future you will make the students talk to background sound and information about school and also you will give to every students a task. But will it be the same talk every week ? Will there be absolutely no evolution (emotional or relationship with others) and they will be doing the same thing for 10 week ?
Students will never repeat their conversations, but students might not have very many voiced interactions, since it depends entirely on volunteer voice actors.
I think its so Osana is not alone because you mentioned in a video that pulling her in the pool and drowning her would be an elimination method

Hi, yandev. I’m very exited to see the next build and this new preview isn’t expected. There are so many new things that I want to check them out. Of course I’m waiting for your video, too. Make sure your work will be the most possible accurate and fantastic, but don’t forget to take a breath. I have a question:have you modified something in the club rooms since you implemented the clubs and its activities?

I’m sorry for wasting your time commenting constantly but I have a few more questions
1) Will only the Sports Club have custom Swimsuits, or will they be removed?
2) Would you consider adding Red Flowers hairstyle to pose mode even though she was removed?
3) Would Drama Girl have the purple stockings? Or are they for Kokona only?
4) When sunbathing could the Bullies have custom Swimsuits too? It would make sense as they dont follow rules so they wouldnt wear the same swimsuits
5) Is this including the Cooking Club too?
6) Will Ayano have animations for doing club activities? Instead of standing slightly uncomfortably close to the club leader
7) As an estimate of days, how much longer do you estimate you’ll need?
Also, I’ll just guess what these are:
1) The Gaming Club walk round school and stop to play games/text each other, because they’re so unsociable they can’t be bothered talking
2) The Cooking Club walk round school offering food, like Ayano can do, to stop her from being able to kill people in hallways unspotted
3) The weapons? Hmm… unless you can whack someone with a folding chair, I’m completely clueless
4) The bullies are gazing at someone who could be around your rival (A suitor), so you cant kill the rival without being photographed
5) The bullies are sunbathing so you can’t kill Osana if she was alone
I’ll answer 5 questions.
1) More characters than just the sports club will be able to change into swimsuits, but they might be school swimsuits.
2) Maybe. I don’t like having clutter in the character models.
3) Kizana will have purple stockings with roses. Kokona might wear purple stockings to copy Kizana, which might make Kizana angry with Kokona.
4) Hmmmmm. I suppose it’s a good point. I can consider it.
5) Yes.

I feel like I’ve been charged checking your blog every 2 hours for the past week to read comments and wait for the build, and this looks absolutely amazing!! I’ll try to decipher it.
1) The first thing that comes to mind is Osana’s phone call, but who knows what they could be doing, outside of the comfort zone of their clubroom. I’m glad Mai is still in the game though!
2) This could be a tutorial to show the benefit of the cooking club disguised as Drama Club’s rehearsal.
3) I see another blind spot in the school is part of the students’ routine and the the weapon could be the weights
4) I made a tour of the school and deduced that they are probably looking at the substitute leader of the Cooking Club and/or the club memebers. Which girl doesn’t like a man who cooks?
5) I guess this is related to Osana’s drowning elimination method. If Martial Arts club can guard her on the roof it would make sense for the bullies to guard her while she’s sunbathing because of their darker skin color.
Ok, I also have a couple of questions:
1) When I loaded a Mission Mode mission to kill Tsubaki with Nemesis disguised as one of the female students, all other girls disappeared, but Marker and Paintbrush remained in the game. Why is that?
2) Is there any age difference between students in this school. Are people in the first floor classrooms youngest and ones on the third floor oldest?
3) Would it possible to change students’ routines if you kill the teacher before the class? In my school there is an unwritten rule that we are allowed to leave if the teacher is over 15 minutes late.

2) Technically, everyone is 18.
3) They should probably switch to “self-study” mode. That’s what a Japanese teacher told me the protocol is.

If I made it my goal, I could release a simplified, bare-bones version of the game in 2019. It would basically be the exact same game that exists right now, except it would have 10 rivals and an ending, I think it would disappoint many people.
