Hi! I’ve made a lot of progress towards the game’s next update, but there are still some more things I want to do before I release a new build, so I’m going to work on it for a little while longer. I don’t have an estimate for when I expect the next build to be ready, but I’m very happy with the progress I’ve made so far, and I’m really enjoying working on the upcoming features!
I’d like to surprise you with the next update, so I won’t tell you exactly what the next build will contain…but I’ll show you a few screenshots of some of the things that you can expect to see!

I think it would be cool if it was possible, but it wouldn’t have anything to do with gameplay, so it’d be a pretty low priority.

Pretty good I think; last night I accomplished a lot of objectives and implemented some stuff I’ve been planning for many months, it felt great.

So Yandere Dev. I noticed that you have been adding more students to increase the challenge of the game. I like how you’re trying to make the game more of a challenge, but I feel like it’s getting a little to difficult. Maybe you could possibly make the school festival be prevalent in the game’s later weeks. Why not make the prepping period long and make students more active making even ordinary students at threat. Since a lot of the rivals are extremely involved in the school, it would make sense for the rivals to help out with their clubs or classes depending on their roles. This would require less of a strain to create interesting and new character reactions; you could use ordinary students more since the rivals could be assigned to help their class/club with prepping for the school festival, meaning they would be more crowded. Students would naturally be walking back and forth from different classes, roaming the halls, and be having to bother your rival with asking for help, chatting, etc. This gives ample opportunities to eliminate a rival such as having a them trip and fall down the stairs and snapping their necks when going to help (Osana), having them hung by a stage light cable by careless actions (Kizana), slipping down and stabbing their self in the heart, chest, and/or neck (Amai), and so forth. There also wouldn’t be such a need for more new places. You could have to only tweak the school by adding new props. With the student council, they wouldn’t be constantly patrolling around the school. They would be forced to go in separate ways to talk to teachers, club leaders, and so forth. This means you could have more simple schedules while still having that depth you want in the game. (Sorry if this sounded like nitpicking. It’s just me more so saying an idea I have thought of that was interesting that could possibly help.)

My current priority is to develop a demo that shows off the general experience of playing the game. The game’s demo should be interesting and challenging. So, in the demo, the first rival (Osana) will be moderately difficult. But, in the final game, Osana will be the easiest rival, and every other rival will get progressively harder than the previous one. In other words, the game’s current level of difficulty (as a debug sandbox for testing features) doesn’t reflect how difficult the final game is actually going to be.
Are you still thinking about adding The yellow dragon council member?
Not thinking about it very much at all; too much other stuff to focus on.
I can see why removing a female from the gaming club makes sense, but still don’t like the idea of all mixed clubs having mostly males, Maybe if you do decide to remove Mai from the Anime and Gaming club a redesigned Sota could take her place. If she is removed from the club will she still be in the game?
Will we be able to kill all students in several ways?
Will the game be somewhat gory?
Will we ever be able to talk to teachers?
Will there be more faculty members in the future?
Teachers should break up fights then send Ayano to the Guidance Councilor. When I started a fight with a delinquent the gym teacher screamed “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!!” “STOP RIGHT NOW!” and then she tackled me……
Will we be able to earn the Headmaster’s trust?
Will the Headmaster and the Guidance Councilor eventually walk around the school? Will it be possible to kill them?
So the leak doesn’t matter you should have the obstacles design slightly changed so people are still surprised to see her.
Will the Basu Sisters ever get an update? They are store bought, maybe you could have them look more original.
Will we be able to have a female senpai in future builds or will we have to wait for the final game?
That’s a lot of questions. For now, I’ll only answer two:
It’ll never be possible to earn the headmaster’s trust. The headmaster and counselor will never walk around the school.

1-In the final game there will be tricks and Easter eggs
2-Implement you save the games after you can do all the things to add to osana najimi
3-I know you do not have to see it, but when maybe you change the model because the codes of the animations are not going to be lost

I have a question If the Rainbow 12 will be removed what about Horuda Puresu you did say that she gonna a temporary placeholder are you still gonna add her like the Rainbow 12?
Horuda Puresu – despite the fact that her name literally means “Place Holder” – actually has more utility / functionality than most students (the ability to use her as a weapon due to her “Fragile” persona) so she has a higher chance of being in the final game than the Rainbow characters.
Will she be renamed ?
Nah, Horuda is a normal-sounding name. Puresu could be turned into a normal name with some slight adjustments.

That’s not a bug. To wear the extra uniform your original one must be bloody or else the only thing you can use it for is Kokona’s Task.

A long time ago, Yandere Dev said that the uniform is for Kokona’s task. Later, there was an update so you could wear it. It used to work.

If another club was added to the game, I’d want to think about utility first, and the theme of the club second. For example, if I realize, “We need more students who walk around the exterior of the school” I might implement a “bird-watching club” and strategically place trees in places where the rival is going to be.
I thought of this for a while but isn’t there technically a way to make sure that mida rana and muja kina would never go to akademi because if you kill the original teacher for class 3-2 then the permanent substitute teacher wouldn’t have a reason to not be available during the week that mida would be in the game same for the nurse just not with the class 3-2 part.
No matter what series of events occur, the current teacher of Class 3-2 will be unavailable on Week 7 – whether it’s the original teacher or a substitute.

1) It’s already in the game; you can see it by selecting “Credits” at the main menu.

Hmmm I have a question Yandere Devvie! Will you update the light music club room? I don’t really like the design of it.. it looks like a classroom to me.. I have an idea if you want to update the club room, but if you’re OK with the appearance of the club room you can leave it the way it already is!
1. Just like the drama club, give the room like a stage thing with a bunch of music instruments on top of the stage area with a bunch of posters of singers from Yandere Chan’s world and make the room like, more colorful with a bunch of chairs in front of the stage.. and a little desk with a computer where the light music club members can write their own songs and a computer so they can get inspired of other popular songs, on the desk, put a pencil holder with a paper sheet so the club members can write their song!
2. I have an Idea for the routines of the club members! Now since there isn’t any rival in the club there will only be 5 members. Miyuji Shan and 4 others. Now for the routines.
member 1. plays the electric guitar (Miyuji Shan)
member 2. Plays the Piano
member 3. Plays the drums
member 4. Plays the violin
member 5. play the Koto (Traditional Japanese musical instrument) Or if you don’t like the idea, the student will play the saxophone
and since you wanted all the students to walk around the school instead of staying in their club rooms all day, you can make the music club members walk around the school to go to one of these storage rooms to find any musical instrument they need!

I’ve considered completely re-designing the appearance of the Music Club. However, I haven’t reached a firm decision on it yet.
1.) Are the members of the light music club going to look like Miyuji and are you going to rename the club to just the music club since at least Miyuji doesn’t look like a president of a “light music” club
2.) When should we expect another preview if you do post one
1) The idea is that Miyuji joined the Light Music club and then decided to transform it into a different type of music club, despite the name. So it kept the old name – Light Music – but the music stopped being “light”. I might change my mind about this, though.
2) It’s really hard to say. Technically I’ve already made enough progress to make another preview, but I kinda wanna postpone it until I can take a screenshot of a certain planned feature.
I think re-designing the Music Club is a great idea! Give it a more classy feel, add other musicians and stuff in there. A little diversity goes a long way!

1) The player will be able to join 11 clubs, and anything outside of that isn’t really a “club”, so there’s no guarantee that the player will be able to join it.
2) It’s too early to say, I’d have to implement all clubs first.

4) I haven’t played Dangan Ronpa.

1) Why did Fureddo Jonzu be the leader of the Photography club? Did all the old members of the club finished the high school year and they leave the school so he and his friend use the club or When the old club leader leave school and he took his place as a club leader and all of the old member quit the club?
2) If when the old club leader leave school and Fureddo Jonzu took his place as a club leader and all of the old members quit the club, would you consider adding them as walking security cameras that will instantly snap a photo of you and tell everyone, and they would walk around the school taking photos of everything that they are interested in.
3) In addition, would you add some character to another persona who indicates how they react to witnessing Yandere-chan’s unusual behavior (e.g. take a photo of her and tell the bullies or other student and harm Yandere-chan’s reputation on every part of the day)
4) This is about the guidance counselor, in the final game, when we are sent to her, do we have to improve our Language and Psychology skills to be able to lie to her?

Technically, it’s a “club” in the sense that it’s a group of people. But if “club” refers specifically to a group that the player can *join*, then it’s not a “club” right now, although it might become a “club” later.

Hey Yandere Dev! I do have a quick question regarding rival 6 (Muja Kina, nurse), rival 7 (Mida Rana, teacher), and rival 9 (Hanako Yamada, little sister).
For starters, I understand that every one in the game is 18 or older, and therefore are “Legal”. But with a school Nurse and school Teacher, won’t that be illegal due to the fact that a teacher cannot have a relationship with a student? Also, to the unknowing person, wouldn’t this also seem a little (a lot, actually) pedophilic?
Also, with Hanako Yamada, if she is senpai’s little sister, wouldn’t that make her younger and it being illegal and frowned apon to kill a minor in a video game?
I’m sorry, these questions were just eating me up! Maybe a possible elimination where the teacher and nurse get found out for wanting a relationship with a student?

1) This is one of the last things I consider when adding students, and might be adjusted / balanced / changed in a subsequent update.
2) Since the Science Club is populated by intelligent students, I gave them a Persona that is associated with being enthusiastic for education.

1.Will Uekiya Engeika can get her gloves back?

1) Maybe. All of those little details – like making a character wear gloves – take time to implement, so if I commit to putting a bunch of little details like that into the game, then I would be extending the game’s development time significantly. If it’s not important / necessary for gameplay, then it’s not something I want to promise right now.
