Hi! I’ve made a lot of progress towards the game’s next update, but there are still some more things I want to do before I release a new build, so I’m going to work on it for a little while longer. I don’t have an estimate for when I expect the next build to be ready, but I’m very happy with the progress I’ve made so far, and I’m really enjoying working on the upcoming features!
I’d like to surprise you with the next update, so I won’t tell you exactly what the next build will contain…but I’ll show you a few screenshots of some of the things that you can expect to see!

If the R6 (Rainbow Six) doesnt get to be in the final game, will Midori have her long green stockings back or she will still have short green stockings?

I think occult club members should have “evil”personality as they are trying to summon a demon. As klling is a step for the summoning, they should feel nothing about ending someone’s life.
They’re not evil, they are just really curious about black magic. They’re either unaware that summoning a demon involves killing (which is why they never succeed) or they are trying to summon demons who do not require blood sacrifices.

Um I have an another question is about the inventory. Like when you taking the mop and the bucket it’s seems odd for Yandere-Chan for using just one hand to take the mop and leave the bucket until you come back and get it. Shouldn’t Yandere-Chan use both of her hands for carrying items?
Not to be a nuisance, but when you carry the cello case, it’s on your back. Why can’t you make a fifth inventory space for items that cannot be stored within the inventory such as the mop? There would be two of those, representing Yandere-chan’s right and left hand. And even with the real inventory system you’ve announced way back, you could keep it with little grapchical update.
Do you have an idea of when the next update will be out? At least if it will be out this month?
The 15th at the absolute latest, but I’m hoping it’ll be sooner than that. Again, it depends on factors outside of my control.
Yanderedev, I have a question.
Are the screenshoots you showed us the only big novelty of the maj, or there are others so big? I do not want to be irritating, but it’s just to be more patient.
The next build will contain more “novelties” than what I showed off in the above screenshots. I might release another update preview within the next few days.
How big will this update be? Will it be like the Art, Science, and Gardening Club update in July. Will it be bigger or smaller than it?

I sorta feel like maybe the photography club would start to notice through out the weeks that the people that senpai hangs out with are always the victims that are disappearing (and maybe start to follow senpai around)… so maybe if the game has easy, medium, and hard modes… maybe it would make the player have to worry about what steps to take each week… idk i just felt like thinking and sharing… i love what you are doing with the game and I love the game… keep up being amazing =)
Ah looks like a new occult club leader, which makes sense since I know I’m going to kill the hell out of Oka… or maybe i’ll match her since she grew on me….dammit! Any plans to add a new ally to the game in the future?
I have an idea for an “Ally” character, but I don’t think I’ll implement them, because it would stretch out the game’s development too much.

Hello, YandereDev, I would like to talk to you about Taro Yamada, the senpia of the the game.
Why do all the girls like him? I was thinking about it and he doesn’t seem so different than Sora, Sato, and the other male’s in school. It just can’t be because he’s nice, Riku is nice and you don’t see eleven girls trying to win his love. So will there be more personality for Taro? Or will you just have him sitting on the fountain for ten weeks, being rather…boring. If it’s just him being nice don’t you feel like it’s unrealistic and makes him a Gary-Sue (a male character in a show, movie, anime, and/or game that is over powered/perfected in every way. Everyone adores them in the game/anime/movie/show,etc)? Having one of those in a game isn’t very good and will most likely make him rather hated.

2) this is a long question and not really related to the game but what if I wanted to make a story thats similar to this game? I don’t want to steal ideas from you but I have a hard time being unique. You see my character is a sadodere (someone who gets off on mentally and physically hurting people) and she meets this boy (a pushover like taro) who she wants to date solely for the purpose of looking like a normal girl while she kills her classmates in order to feel happy. But she starts falling in love with the boy and starts getting rid of the girls around him. And like the game there’s a new girl (these girls are totally unique from the games rivals and there’s only 6) each week. She doesn’t have an info chan but a girl who only tells her rumors and girls close to her senpai but nothing else info chan would do. Any advice?

Why do you plan to exclude the rainbow 12? You still need around 90 characters, wouldn’t be easier to stick to the old ones? Why replace them? Besides that, everybody likes them.

Hi YandereDev, I have 2 “suggestions” and I hope you read them.
1- I think Yan-chan could suffer from BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER with antissocial (sociopathic) traits, that would make the background story of yandere chan more realistic and yandere… 2 examples of what Yan-chan could be like… Aileen Wournos of the movie Monster or Alex Forrest of the movie Fatal Attraction. It is needed at least 5 of the symptoms:
Frantic efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment
A pattern of unstable and intense interpersonal relationships characterized by extremes between idealization and devaluation (also known as “splitting”)
Identity disturbance: Markedly or persistently unstable self-image or sense of self
Impulsive behavior in at least two areas that are potentially self-damaging (e.g., spending, sex, substance abuse, reckless driving, binge eating)
Recurrent suicidal behavior, gestures, or threats, or self-harming behavior
Emotional instability in reaction to day-to-day events (e.g., intense episodic sadness, irritability, or anxiety usually lasting a few hours and only rarely more than a few days)

2- If you kill someone that a spiteful hates in front of him/her, then he/she will go home but without calling the police… well, that’s whatthe cowards do, so i think the cowards could lock themselves in one of the storage rooms, then they would call or not call the police (it could depend of their reputation) while that yandere chan could try to get into the room…

Hello Yandere Dev! I just have a few questions about the game and it would be super cool if you replied.
1) When will you change the Science Club’s routine so they can walk next to each other when entering school? (I guess this was done to prevent glitches near the changing booth)
2) Do you still plan on making a video about the third game that influenced Yandere Simulator? (Besides Hitman and Persona Series)
3) What is the inspiration behind Homu Kurusu’s name? It seems like the only name origin people on the Wiki can’t figure out.
4) Maybe in the future you can implement a feature that the player would lose reputation points if somebody spots them in the male bathroom/changing room. With a trick you can easily bypass the invisible barrier, so you might as well remove it.
5) Will the maze be in the final game, because it is super random the way it is now?
I’ve been following the development of this game for little less than 3 years and I am really excited with the updates leading up to THE (Osana) build. Idk if you always replied to your fans here but I think that it’s really cool and shows that you care for the fanbase and everybody’s opinion! I also recently saw you post a comment about your daily schedule and I’m somehow impressed and worried at the same. You should get the break in early September and enjoy the summer while most of the fans are preoccupied with school and not with Yandere Sim. You’re the best!! 🙂
1) You’re right – I spaced them out to prevent them from all trying to cram into the changing booth simultaneously. The “wait outside the changing booth if someone else is trying to use it” code wasn’t working for them, and I wasn’t able to fix the bug. Eventually, I’ll re-arrange how all the students enter school…but right now, it doesn’t feel like a high priority.
2) I’d love to, but it feels like it’s not a high priority at this point in time.
3) It’s a reference to the word “Homunculus” – an artificially-created humanoid creature. Definitely not the same thing as a “robot”, but the definition vaguely sounds like it’s referring to a robotic human.
4) The tricks won’t work in the final game, of course.
5) It’s not random at all the way it is now. It’s actually perfectly symmetrical; it’s structured, which is the opposite of being random. However, it’s not guaranteed to stay the same, either.

1) It should still be possible to kill Kokona using all elimination methods that have existed in the game up until this point.
2) Good question, I’ve never considered it. I think that a live-action Yandere Sim movie should have a Japanese actress, so I’d have to spend some time researching Japanese actresses.

I think that some student who is not REALLY important, had to have some similar task, like several students who ask you to go get them a can, or to say something to someone, with 2, 3 different voices

Probably because it was just a recolor; didn’t seem very interesting compared to everything else.

1) I think it would be cool to include it in the game as a bonus. However, it’s not a high priority, so it might not happen.
2) I think that Info-chan will eventually be able to sell drugs / condoms, but not until a future update.
