A lot of bug fixes piled up between Jan 1st and today, so I’m releasing a new bug-fixing build! But first, please check out this cool artwork by iceangel0203!

Fixes, Changes, and Additions
- From now on, students who gather in a spot to socialize will not perform the “socializing” animation unless at least one other person is present. (As of now, this only applies to the Rainbow 6 and the Basu Sisters.)
- Fixed bug that would cause a teacher to fail to follow a teacher’s pet reporting murder if the teacher was distracted by a giggle before the murder report.
- Fixed bug that would cause Kokona to freeze in place in front of a window if asked to meet the player on the rooftop at Cleaning Time.
- Fixed bug that would cause Yandere-chan to remain in Yandere Vision after being shoved or pepper sprayed by a council member.
- Fixed bug that would cause a student council member to lead a teacher to the wrong location when leading them to a corpse.
- Fixed bug that would cause Pippi and Ryuto’s computer game to display onscreen even when they weren’t around to play it.
- Fixed bug that would cause Yandere-chan to freeze in place permanently if time ran out during the pickpocket minigame.
- Added a new accessory for Yandere-chan, in honor of a YouTuber who has helped to spread Yandere Sim to Brazil.
- Fixed bug that would prevent Nemesis from seeing Yandere-chan if Yandere-chan was crouching near a doorway.
- Fixed bug that would prevent Nemesis from seeing Yandere-chan if Yandere-chan was running while crouching.
- Fixed bug that would prevent the player from being able to target the Student Council in Mission Mode.
- Fixed bug that would cause the player to float up into the air after being pushed away by Shiromi.
- Fixed bug that caused a bottle of pepper spray to appear in Nemesis’ hands during Mission Mode.
- Fixed bug that would cause the gym teacher’s hair to have a white outline in Yandere Vision.
- Fixed bug that could cause students to get stuck walking into the benches in the plaza.
- Compressed many textures in an attempt to lower the game’s file size and memory usage.
- Fixed bug that would prevent an outline from appearing around the nurse’s hair model.
- Re-colored a few parts of the GUI to suit the color scheme of the rest of the game.
- Once again attempted to fix the bug that permits male students to be kidnapped.
- Updated the Calendar screen to reflect the year that the game takes place in.
- Slightly changed the appearance of the walkway area in front of the school.
- Updated Mai Waifu’s hair so that some parts of it would not appear black.
- The player can no longer move the camera during a pepper spray game over.
Added one new easter egg. Oops!! I accidentally left it deactivated in this build. It’ll be available in the next build. Sorry about that!

I mean: Where it will be revealed? It was that it will be connect to new 5 characters, and I was thinking it will be today… But now… I’m not sure when we see it. Just saying.
He never said he would put it in today’s update. He said it would be in the next ‘big’ update, never claiming that this was it. This is a simple bug fix and minor adjustment build.
Maybe he’s going to put the next big reveal in a video first, in which case making such a video could take time.
We’ll get it when we get it.. okay??

Yey! New Build!
The Game crashes if i want to play it as always. I used to play it before the January 12th update. But at this update I can’t anymore. Why?
The game crash, and the easter egg don’t appear
The new easter egg doesn’t seem to do anything other than change the music. Even if that was the intention, it’s worth noting that the easter egg menu doesn’t go away automatically when you trigger it like it does with other easter eggs.
It keeps crashing when Yan-chan goes to school. This rarely happened before.
So then, are you not planning on releasing a new build on the 15th?
I think he posted it early so he could have time to work on the new feature from now until February 1st. It would add 5 new students I think.
I think that’s fine. It would just be kind of wasteful to release a bunch of bug fixes, then turn around and put out a planned release 3 days later. I don’t see any bug fixes that couldn’t have waiting one more weekend. He really needs to put out fewer bug fix builds so he can stay focused on feature releases.
I wonder if the rainbow six and the boys will ever be in more normal positions, instead of just standing in a perfect circle on exactly the opposite sides of the fountain, like their synchronized.
That’s what I’m thinking. Groups of people aren’t usually in a perfect circle.

Easter egg doesn’t work
The easter egg doesnt work also when i try to kidnap a student instead of the tranquilizing animation yandere-chan kills the student and then you can hear the sounds of kidnapping but then follower valid turns into X and you cant exit the room until you use debug menu or restart day
What is the reasoning behind the concept that male students can’t/shouldn’t be kidnapped by Yandere-chan?
I wonder about that too. Maybe weight?
It will be implemented but not yet, it probably needs some voice acting and stuff like that.
If I recall, YandereDev disabled the ability to kidnap male students due to constant bug reports of “Male students turning female in the basement”, despite constantly clarifying that it happens due to lack of male assets for kidnapping related stuff.
