Yandere Simulator videos translated into other languages

Some multilingual fans of Yandere Simulator have been gracious enough to translate my YouTube videos for non-English-speaking fans. In this blog post, I will keep a list of YouTube channels that translate my videos, so that non-English-speaking fans will be able to follow the development of the game.

This list will grow over time; I will update this blog post with new channels as I learn about them.

I know that I’ve encountered more translation channels than the ones listed above, but right now, those are the only channels that I can remember. If you encounter or operate a translation channel, please inform me (over e-mail) and I’ll update this blog post to list more languages.

I don’t care about this, YandereDev. Where is the next video? Where is the next update?

I’m sorry. Please be patient.

      • Once again, that isnt true. He was working from 6am to 2am every day of his life for us, and a majority of his fans could tell he was working way too hard and wasnt enjoying hi life anymore because he did nothing but work, and we told him to take a break, and he decided he’d take an hour or 2 off of work each day to stream so he could play games and have fun. He’s not FOCUSED ON STREAMING. He’s doing what WE AS A FANBASE ASKED, and is not killing himself working all day. He’s still developing the game, but most of it is him waiting for Animators, music directors, voice actor, artists, modelers, so many people to get him the assets he need to make videos and make new builds. To add, lets say a feature for yandere-chan to climb up the side of the school on a fence, climb inside and go into a new room thats never been seen, he needs an animators to make the animation, a modeler to model new furniture and items, and an environment artists to draw up what the room will look like. That could all take a week or 2 for them to complete. Not to mention he’s working on 8 PROJECTS for us right now… Do you even watch his updates? Stop complaining and acting like he’s not doing shit and he’s lazy when he’s doing his best to work his ass off for us. I dont want to be mean, but its so annoying to see you guys complain like this.

      • U know that wasn’t very nice yandere dev works really hard to produce the perfect game for us. And also we told him to work less so he could enjoy life. Not make him carry more stress by commenting stuff like that

      • bloodinrosesblog that’s very sweet of you, caring and being worried about Yandere Dev’s health. But you need to know that he isn’t 100% honest with fans. This is why I’m posting comments like that. I can’t stand that he makes his fans worried about him, while he hardly make any progress at all. YandereDev has many loyal and devoted fans, yet he doesn’t care about them enough to keep his promises and he is lying constantly.

      • ThePinkBunnyEmpire, they are talking about the reply from someone. They said in response to, “:ooks like yandere dev is going to update content larger than usual,” they replied: “I doubt it, He’s more focused on streaming than developing game,” which is being heated. Hope this cleared some thing up for you ;D

      • Poolar Bear, how doubting the big size of next update equals being heated? It’s just logical it won’t be bigger than previous ones, because earlier Yandere Dev has been putting more effort into his work, now he’s more focused on streaming because fans wanted him to take more free time. Sooo, it’s more likely next update will be smaller than previous ones, because dev is spending less time on it. It’s just logical conclusion, it has nothing to do with being heated or chill.

    • Yeah, he’s got a lot of projects going on that are very big, so it can take a while, especially since it takes so long for the game to pull up a testing version of the game for him to test a feature, and between that and answering emails all day, it takes a while. He should have a video up in a day or two.

      • Lately YandereDev is spending way more time on being an entertainer (streaming, talking with fans etc.) than being developer. Interactions with fanbase is good, but he prioritizes it too much.

      • …We told him to take a break. We told him working from 6am to 2am making content for us was too much, so he now takes 2 hours off because he wants to actually ENJOY HIS LIFE and WE were the ones asking him to take care of himself. In those 2 hours of free time, he streams for his fans. He’s not prioritizing, he’s doing what WE asked him to do.

      • But he doesn’t stream 2 hours a day. He streams 4 hours a day minimum on his official twitch channel. Sometimes even more. Everything is recorded on his twitch. There is no proof that he actually works as much as he claims. The best proof we could get is update, but we haven’t seen any significant update since January. If you’ll look at his development blog, you’ll see mostly delays and posts titled “New build coming soon”. Yandere dev stated many times that he is tired of making this game – I doubt he wants to make it anymore. He earns LOTS of money, has help of many volunteers, yet he can’t deliver any update for months. A lot of developers would make wonders with resources like that, but Yandere Dev doesn’t seem to care at all.

  1. Hellooooo Yanderdev ! It’s really a good idea to translate your videos into several languages! Do you plan to make it for the French also? You have a very big French community Yandev!

    • Hes not the one translating, fans of the game who he never talked to decided to do it themselves. There might be a fan out there who has done it in french. He’s not working with any translators though, he might once he’s finished the games script and scenes so he can get voice clips, but thats about all the translating he’ll do.

  2. Yandere Dev is taking a while…. so that must mean he’s got some really exciting stuff planned! 😀

  3. Might as well just release the update on the 15th cause otherwise with update after that is going to be delayed longer than this… But with you that’s to be expected

    • in my opinion he should’ve posted that information on here–more people check the wordpress blog than his reddit and looking at the comments section everyone seems confused, worried, or angry and that’s because they don’t know what’s going on

  4. Hey Yandere-dev!

I hope you are ok? I did sprnd some time reading about stuff on reddit, and frankly, I was trully disgusted by all the peoples calling you lazy because you stream/take a day off every now and then. Like wow, I could not keep that rythmes, I dunno how you do it! Please remember that most of us wants you to stay healty and be happy, so do not push yourself to hard!

Peoples really need to ask themself “Could I work on that kind of schedule?” Before freaking out. It’s seriously concerning that they seem to think that you should work yourself to death.

Take all your time! We will be patient!

  5. As you see on the poll you did, we care about your life’s being well more than the speed of the progress. Ignore the impatients, we know you are doing your job. We love yansim and we love you!

  6. I know I will get hated for this comment, but honestly YandereDev, you NEVER keep your promises! I’m very annoyed! You announced the new build/video for the 3rd or 5th April and guess what? IT’S THE 7TH APRIL ALREADY!!! I realize this sounds very harsh, but it keeps bothering me since I started following Yandere Simulator’s development!

(Please excuse my bad English, I’m from Germany)

    • He usually makes his deadline for all builds and updates, and he is working for you from the moment he opens his eyes until like 2am. Really? You’re getting mad at him? He cant help that things happen or take longer sometimes, or that he has to wait for OTHERS like music developers, animators, artists, voice actors, etc. to get their part done before he can post things. Example, The rival video, which got delayed because the music directors were taking longer than expected. And he’s already said he has a bunch of projects right now, but most of it is not in his hands. He’s having to wait for all of the artists and animators to get done so he can update the game and make a video about it. He knows he’s late sometimes, and he’s very very sorry about it, but come on, the guy works his ass off for us, and has deprived himself of any joy to make us happy, and you’re going to freak out because he’s a few days behind on a video when he’s already apologized and said he knew itd be late and he’s working to get it done?

      • He isn’t actually. He spends majority of time streaming games and talking with fans. I know he needs to wait for volunteers to deliver assets but without them he doesn’t do any work because he simply can’t. That means he isn’t as overloaded with work as you describe.

      • Stupid Maysar Owlbert person…you need to wake up. If you really believe that Dev used to work 6am – 2am shifts solely working on Yandere Simulator then you are completely deluded. If that was true the game would be finished by now. There have been amazing indie games developed by one person that took less time, and where there was much more work to do (i.e. they did not use store bought assets and volunteer submissions). That is what true hard work looks like. Yandere Dev is a lazy slacker who lies to you so he can keep his Patreon money and keep his easy slacker life. He does the bare minimum and tells you he works 16+ hours per day to keep you sympathetic. The reality is probably much closer to him editing one line of code per day and then playing around on video games for 12+ hours. Some of his recent streams actually back this up.

Oh and btw, before this recent “vacation” period of him publicly streaming all the time, he used to stream privately on his other website (I can’t mention the name here because he has word filters on to stop people talking the truth). He has always slacked off, he just kept it hidden from people so the majority of fans will still believe he is a hard worker. Face it, you’re being conned, and I pity you for how much you are defending him when he would never do the same for you.

      • InformationCrocodile yeah. I wonder why people can’t acknowledge that he is lying about his work schedule even now, when he streams officially.

    • If you follow Yanderedev for a while, you shiyld know that he is always late… It doesn’t surprise me, I’m not angry at aller by the way !

  7. I think there should be multiple difficulties for Yandere Simulator.

Easy: Witnesses will escape very slowly and you will be pursued at a low pace.

Normal: The way the game is now

Hard: Witnesses, teachers, delinquents and etc will run two times faster than usual, and witnesses will immediately call the police or tell a teacher, whatever the personality. Also, regarding their personality, I think there should be a hardcore mode where all witnesses call the police. If more than one person calls the police, the police should arrive faster as they know it’s really important.

  8. To everyone that’s frustrated about YandereDev taking so long:

You should remember that YandereDev doesn’t owe you CRAP. He’s just developing a game, and here you are, demanding “GIVE ME MY UPDATE NOW YOU LAZY _____!” Just because you like a game and expect frequent updates doesn’t mean that you should be pissed off.

(I just realized that patrons are sort of obliged to his updates, but I’m just going to assume that most of the complainers haven’t spent a penny on yandere sim)

    • Right he doesn’t, so does nobody owe him a purchase . . . dummy. Nobody can spend a penny on a game that isn’t out for sale.

Disappointed/Pissed get to know the diffrence.

      • And how is this fucking related? Yes he is jobless that’s his income so what.

My point is I won’t spend a penny on this game when it’s not finished in the TIMESPAWN I STILL CARE ABOUT IT. This isn’t the only game around, neither the only dev around. Won’t be sticking here for years.

Keep the updates, let tinybuild make for once noticeable progess and release a buyable alpha. Maybe then he quits wasting time with goofy unrelated videos and minigames. What’s with tinybuild anyways.. Big announcement nothing happening. (I’m about to cum.. then pull out) Worst hype ruined orgasmn ever.

    • Yeah I know but lets say he doesn’t work for 5 months and gives no updates or anything. Even then are you still gonna stay patient? I know the time between right now and the last update is way shorter but I’m trying to make a point, its not really punishable just to say that you’re getting tired of waiting. Everyone will eventually.

  9. Okay let me get this straight:
In that Reddit post Yandere Dev is telling us we are supposed to wait a WEEK extra for an update, and not be pissed about it? He’s saying we should wait longer for updates. If you can’t stay on the schedule you originally came up with, don’t come up with an effing schedule at all. You disappoint every person when you post late and post, “Update Coming Soon.” ANd we wait a day and get another post saying, “Here’s a Preview!” And the preview is of crap he talks about and says, “this can’t be implemented yet, I need a few more weeks. Just let me get you excited about it so you can be extremely disappointed!”
Yeah, Yeah, I know fans will be tackling me and ranting back, “could you work like that everyday, blah, blah….” Great. I don’t care because I know everyone else is probably getting pissed and is pretending to me okay with him taking his sweet goddamn time. Yell at me. Post back. I don’t give a crap. Because Yandere Dev has lost my trust and yes, I have nothing better to do except post a rage comment about a fictional video game.
And thank you, for following the rage, of an angry fan.

    • He’s 95% of the time on time to upload the next build at 12am on the 1st and 15th. Sometimes things do get delayed, but stuff like that happens, and its hard when a lot of it is in other peoples hands who promise to have it done and dont get it done either. Its not like he’s trying to make it a week late, he cant help it if animators and artists dont give him the stuff he needs in time. and i dont think any of it is disappointing once you see it. I think a majority of the fans actually get really excited about the stuff we see after we wait a while. We had to wait a while for match making, but people were very excited and happy when it finally came out.

and he’s not disappointing every person by posting things about updates coming soon, its probably the 5% that are and get mad and write mean comments to insult someone who’s working his ass off for them. I know i get excited when he says an update is coming soon, and its very exciting to see what it is or speculate whats about to be shown or added.

      • Yeah, I know I was a real baka earlier…
I came home from work and I was super excited for the update but there was none and there just was the same post from a few days ago so
I decided to rage online. I’m going to delete the post cuz I feel like I’m being so disloyal to my senpai 😛

    • Do you want a horrible, buggy update with little to no features? No? Then you have to realize these things take time. Also, if something isn’t done, it’s not done. He can’t post the half finished product. And you do realize that he’s pouring his life into this game? He works until midnight every day talking to volunteers and reading emails and coding, and then he has to deal with people like you yelling at him to hurry up. Sorry if this was harsh, but seeing stuff like this upsets me.

      • Well, no matter what Yandev does he will have a very buggy update. I’m just saying, everytime I play the new update I get a new bug that crashes the game.
I just read over my message and from earlier and yeah, I was real asshat, I guess I shouldn’t be like this. I don’t really have a life so I just choose to sit here wasting time reloading the WordPress every few seconds.

      • He isn’t working until midnight. He takes a lot of time to stream games etc. Also YandereDev has little experience with programming so bugs are inevitable unless he receives help from some better coders. His schedule filled with work is exaggerated – if you’ll spend some time on reddit or on twitch, you’ll se how long he streams or talk with people.

  10. Ok, im absolutely fine with him taking his time, but I just hope that there is at least some sort of new thing/ feature. It doesn’t have to be massive… but just not so small and insignificant that it’s hardly noticeable. Or maybe just a bunch of smaller features… or like, something that’s a work in progress… i don’t know…

  11. I don’t mind that you’re taking a while to get this update a going (I could wait a month, seriously) but it’s kinda annoying when you don’t go into specifics and instead write “please be patient.” With that said, I’m just gonna watch his twitch stream cause that’s always fun :p.

  12. Chances are I’ll just stop following the development of this game… updates aren’t like they used to be, it seems to even ME now that YandereDev is working too slow! Probably tinyBuild are delaying him with suggestions; they’re probably like 100 Midoris… Or, they’re working on Osana and not bothering releasing a build to entertain us for the time being… OR that big surprise he showed us in a previous video.

    This makes sense:

YandereDev was working on the Rival Introduction Video while implementing the Matchmaking elimination method. He made the Matchmaking elimination method first, then a few days passed: Rival Introduction Video is here.

    This doesn’t make sense:

YandereDev is working on a surprise video and Osana. He is working on this so called “surprise video” and Osana. Why sin’t either of them done yet?

I’m actually very disappointed that this happened, I really am…

Hopefully, the next build is within May 1st, if not, I may as well stop following the game’s development.

PS: If tinyBuild is helping you, YandereDev, make sure you don’t let them act like Midoris roaming everywhere.

  13. • I am honestly really bored while scrolling trough this comment section. Nothing but whiny kids repeating “Why is the game taking so long?” “Why isn`t Osana done yet?” “I`m going to stop following the development if you don`t update!” Over and over and over. What are you people doing? Staring at the blog and refreshing the page until he uploads something? Go do something else. No one is forcing you to come here every single day, or week, or month. If the content of the updates doesn´t please you, then don`t download the build. Wait for the next one. Or the one after that. If you are getting bored about it, then wait until the full game comes out.

      • i understand how annoying it can be to just see the same types of comments over and over, i understand how you want people to just stop complaining beause all that negativity isn’t fun

however Brandon Lee Ellis (@YandereFan12) has a bit of a point–now the april fools videos and yandev taking his day off are completely justified but the problem is yandev needs to communicate with his fans on the official blog and he hasn’t. this is where the majority of fans go for information on updates, because this is where yandev told us to go; this fanbase is young, with a lot of young people who want to see the good in everyone but also don’t like being ignored, by not updating the blog yandev has ignored them and that just isn’t fair to his fans

as for the updates losing their frequency, there are a ton of other things yandev could implement while waiting for assets, even if they’ll need updating of their own later in development, so really going months with nothing but bug fixes is inexcusable

now before you all let loose the lions–i am completely aware that transitioning to a company is time consuming; i am aware that waiting for assets takes awhile; i am aware that we as fans asked him to lessen his working hours and he did as asked

however, yandev has said and done some shady things and as the fanbase, as his fans, we not only have the right but the responsibility to critique his work and call out his behavior

    • Jesus. You have to be patient. He has his own life and life is full of suprises. Hes only human, he isnt a robot that makes games non-stop. He needs breaks and Yandere simulator, for me, is worth the wait. Usually when the game update takes long, its because it might be a BIG update. So please dont stop following the game’s development.

      • the problem isn’t the wait, honey, it’s the lack of information–yanderedev needs to understand that his fans are generally fairly young and will jump to conculsions if he doesn’t tell them what’s going on

he made a large post on his reddit, but that’s not where the fanbase goes for update information it’s here

changing the update schedule from every 2wks to every 3 or 4 is perfectly fine; however he doesn’t get to delay an update an entire week and give no warning or info to his fanbase

he wants us to lay off and not email? he wants us to be patient? fine, done, but he needs to show the same respect back and leaving your fandom in limbo with no explaination on the official blog is disresepectful

  14. The problem with Yanderedev being late it’s that people think that something big is going to be and that’s why he take so long… However if it’s in reality not something big people will be so much disappointed that they going to post hater message…
Personnally, I prefer to not expect toooo much

  15. I’m more bothered by the fact that YandereDev posted on reddit but hasn’t posted anything on here where fans are looking for updates, it just seems like an odd choice considering the point of this blog is updates.
But I don’t mind having to wait for a new build/video because Yandere Simulator is always worth the wait, take all the time you need Dev and don’t worry about the people complaining. However I do think it’s time to get rid of the 1st and 15th deadline dates and change the download counter as they seem to be causing more trouble than they’re worth now the builds are taking longer, maybe just change it to once a month or give no set timescale and just update whenever you can.

  16. given the inhabitual late ( he is often in late but rarely in that extent ) , I’m worried for Yanderedev. No illness ? No hospital operation ( not forcely for him, but too for his family or his best friend) . No family’s problem ?

  17. The next update is coming on 15th probably…If I was YanDev I wouldn’t upload the new build since 15th is close.

Streaming doesn’t take away his time, He still works normal as usual, its just that he took an hour away from work.

  18. Yanderedev I’m so disappointed with You. Instead of launching this construction on the 15th, I threw before .very disappointed

    • It isnt easy to develope a game. Especially the fact that its very pressuring because of many people with high expectations. Yandere dev is just human and he makes mistakes. Im pretty sure he has his own reasons why there is no update, maybe because hes doing one of his secret projects that take lots of time. Just be patient~

  19. Hmmmm… I guess there is a large update coming soon. I wonder when he will post something here… Like updates to let us know what he is currently doing or what is happening to the game.

  20. Omfg can people just chill and shut up? I mean, he wont bring you a video just because you all are bitching and whining about it!! He PROBABLY will show us the new video in day 15 anyway, so cannot people just get a life and do shit besides putting pressure on this poor man?
and no, i wont answer any of your bullshit comments anyway so dot bother reply to me -_-

*yes, i got pissed, because all i,m seeing is “when is the next update out, no your not allowed to take a day off, why are you not sending a new video etc, etc.*

*This is probably the only thing you will hear from me, so buh bye ;D*

    • cant you be patient? he has developed this game for 3 years! all of his fans out there care about him. they dont care if he takes a break without telling us. but your not a true fan, huh? he has lots of things to do, like do yandere simulator, make videos, and stream. everyone here is patient except some haters, sheesh ;-;

  21. Aaand in the next video we’ll hear about “how pitifull i am, stupid heated fans are rushing my game! Booo hoo”.

Partnership with Tinybuild doesn’t mean he can just throw Yandere Simulator aside, and he’ll be forgiven. I’m following the development of this game for about three years now. But the way he’s bitching about every single obstacle that appears on his way makes me wanna stop doing it. This is not a serious development anymore. He’s not a serious developer anymore. Why hadn’t he wrote about the delay on his blog? This is where majority of “Yandere Simulator” fans are. Instead he had started moaning about “how hard developer life is” on reddit.
He’s not even acting like a real developer. Developer wouldn’t just disappear from the official site for that long, ignoring people who has been following the development. Yanderedev’s game is popular only because of fans who are creating ‘hype’ (fan arts, MMD models, animations, fan fictions etc), he’s just using it, and if he’s turning his back on them, he’ll lost his opportunity.
Through these three years i’ve been supporting this game, i even got my friends into this as well.
I just hope that he’ll stop acting like a coward.
No one had forced him to start this development.
No one forces him to continue it.
He’s just wasting time(volunteers and fans waiting for updates) and money(Patreon, volunteers who could be working on different projects) of people who are involved in this.
It can be a good game, but not with the developer who’s acting like a crybaby. It’s time to grow up.

      • This is what i was talking about. It’s not just “stop following the development”, because if we all stop, the game will never be finished.
Stop being devil’s advocate. Read about how game developing, fan support and game market works for small developers. Go educate yourself.

    • Not all of us are going to stop following the development. Like me. I’m patient. I can wait. I have other stuff to do. I don’t believe I’m being devil’s advocate, I just think that there’s no use complaining. Why complain. What good does that good. It just makes you feel more miserable and everyone else.

Also I don’t appreciate the rudeness. I don’t need to be educated for game development when in reality, I’m dealing with someone who is whining about YandereDev.

    • Alright. I can’t be bothered to argue. I agree that he should have updated his blog, it’d be nice to know where’s he been for the last 7 days. But what can one do. Go up to his house and yell for him to take us seriously? I mean maybe one or two people will. In reality, we fans can’t do a lot. And if it’ll make you feel better, I’ll agree that you are not a hateful person. (y)

  22. Not all of us are going to stop following the development.

      • Eh…it’s like talking to a wall.

I’m not going to stop following the development cause i like this game and the concept of it. That’s why i am worried of Yanderedev behavior, why hadn’t he updated the blog?

I’m just telling you that there are many his fans, not the game itself here. People who are defending him, and worshiping even when he’s making mistakes. They are neither for him (cause they don’t let him develop, and developing takes mistakes and criticism) or the game itself (they are here only to play in some “free-for-now” sandbox)
And it’s a blog about the game. Not his life.

Also I am not whining. It’s a constructive criticism. He used to be a good developer, but once he got involved with game company he started to ditch his fans. Why hasn’t he updated the blog?

I’m also patient, i had waited all the delays in previous years through this development, and propably i won’t quit it.
And if you don’t need to be educated then you should know that i’m neither a hater or rude person. My comments are from the worried fan of the game. He’ll never get this game done if he won’t stop being like this.

      • Ruth Alchin I don’t think is just a “complaining” just because the sake of it, Im kinda agree with rosenorubi. I can wait as much as I need for the next update if it’s nesessary, I can even wait years and still welcome Dev and his game with open arms, but not because of that I have to agree and asskiss everything he’s doing. I’m being patient but I can’t deny is a little annoying Dev is promising and promising and never keep his promises, I mean if now is imposible to him to update the game the 1st and 15th of each mouth I can understand it, so why he keep telling he can do updates that days if it’s not possible? The problem I’m seeing is he have this stupid “fear” that if he don’t make 2 updates a mouth he will lose his fans, and I don’t understand why he thinks that way. If we like the game why we will forget about it just because we didn’t got an update? Like I said I can be patient and wait as much as we have, but I still think is kind of stupid promising something if he won’t do it in the end, better that he start being honest with himself and accept maybe he can’t do 2 cool updates each mouth instead of whinning about how hard is for him.

I still will love the game that’s for sure, and I’ll wait as much as I have to, but if I don’t agree with Dev in something I’ll said it as “constructive criticism” as rosenoburi said.

  23. Is an habit now that dev never so updates the day he said he will do it, I actually don’t care if we had to wait a mouth for another update, but I think he should stop promising things he just won’t do. Is a little annoying and well, I’m fine with him taking this more slowly and nto letting his sould being consumed by his own game, but yeah he should stop promising things if he won’t do it in the end, just saying.
