There was a really annoying bug in the previous build. I wanted to fix this bug and upload a new build immediately, but it would be weird to upload a new build just to fix ONE bug, so I decided to throw in a few other fixes and additions…and now it’s ready!

Fixes, Changes, and Additions
- There is now a file named CustomStockings.png in the StreamingAssets folder. You can make girls wear these stockings by using the customization window in Pose Mode, or by editing the Students.JSON file and changing the name of a girl’s stockings to “Custom”. You can replace and modify this texture so that girls will wear whatever stockings you want. In the future, there might be CustomStockings1.png, CustomStockings2.png, CustomStockings3.png, etc, so that you can make every girl in school wear unique stockings of your choice. But, for now, there is only one texture.
- Open the debug menu and press “5” on the numpad to see an experimental new look for Yandere-chan’s face (the final game may allow the player to choose Yandere-chan’s facial shape).
- Fixed bug with Saki’s new hair model that was preventing her hair from being affected by gravity when she was a mindbroken slave.
- Fixed bug that caused Nemesis to perpetually wear Saki Miyu’s hairstyle on top of her default hairstyle, like a wig.
- Fixed bug that would cause a mindbroken slave’s subtitles to appear over other, more important subtitles.
- Fixed bug that was causing Saki’s old hair model to appear when she was in Yandere-chan’s basement.
- There is now an experimental “play as a male character” mode, accessible from the Easter Egg Menu.
- Fixed bug that was causing a kidnapped victim’s legs to appear completely white in the basement.
- Changed the animation that kidnapped victims perform the first time that you torture them.
- Updated Saki’s student portrait to reflect her new hair model.
Yandere-kun Experiment
One of the above lines may have caught your attention. Yes, that’s right, now you can play as Yandere-kun! …well, sort of. This is more like an experiment to see how feasible it would be to add him to the game at this stage of development. He is still using many female animations and female voiced lines, but swapping to a male character model was not as difficult as it was expected to be, and giving him male standing/walking/running animations was pretty easy, too. This isn’t the “Beta Version” or even the “Alpha Version” of Yandere-kun; it’s just an experiment…but maybe you’ll have some fun with it.
At first, he was really, really buggy…
…but now things are much better! I swear!
(By the way, his current hairstyle is not final. Hopefully, the next build will have a better hairstyle for him!)
Nemesis Artwork
This might sound kind of random, but I want to share some Nemesis fan art with you. As you know, Nemesis’ hairstyle changed a few months ago, but before that happened, some artists made really outstanding artwork of Nemesis wearing her original hairstyle. I don’t want their artwork to go to waste, so I’ll showcase it here, in this final farewell to Nemesis’ original hairstyle.
This extremely beautiful illustration from Tsubasa Kumiho looks like it came right out of a manga! Wow – it’s amazing!! I absolutely love it!!
This incredible image from GuyWithTeaCup looks like it’s a promotional poster for a live-action Yandere Simulator film! I’m not actually sure if it’s CG, or if it’s a heavily edited photograph, but it looks amazing!
This gorgeous-yet-tragic artwork from lilithenisha depicts Yandere-chan just moments before she is killed by her Nemesis. Poor Yandere-chan! Then again, she did have it coming…
This drawing from Chasedoodlesshit shows us a Nemesis who seems to be showing very subtle signs that she is pleased with how events are unfolding. She must be very close to eliminating her prey!
This illustration from Akage Boi is chilling to me, because Nemesis is walking calmly even though her body is covered in cuts, as though no amount of pain could possibly distract her from her mission. Gives me goosebumps!
This image from Everydayturkey depicts the exact moment when Nemesis acquired her new hairstyle. Funny!
This artwork from Ralunix proves that Nemesis can still look cool even with her new hairstyle – and also gives her a very nice new accessory, too!
This drawing from shirodroid is hilarious to me! …but you might not get the joke unless you’ve played Resident Evil 3…
Yandere Clicker Update
On April 16th, 2014, I created a silly little game called Yandere Clicker and uploaded it to Kongregate. Yesterday, I received a e-mail from Kongregate telling me that Firefox would stop supporting the Unity Web Player on March 7th. The solution was to convert the game from a Web Player game to a WebGL game.
This seemed like a good time to familiarize myself with the process of porting a game from Unity 4 to Unity 5, so I gave it a shot. It went very smoothly (much more smoothly than the times when I’ve attempted to port Yandere Simulator from Unity 4 to 5) and the conversion from Web Player to WebGL went smoothly, as well. The entire process only took about 30 minutes; all in all, it was a very nice little learning experience!
I also took this opportunity to make a few minor additions to the game’s graphics; Yandere-chan now wears her trademark black stockings, Senpai’s hair and eyes are now black, the characters’ hair and clothing have some nice new shaders, anti-aliasing has been enabled…and you can now press the “<” and “>” keys to control Yandere-chan’s bust size.
Yandere Clicker is an extremely simple game that is probably only fun for about 5 minutes before it gets boring…but if you ever wanted to play it with better graphics and bust size control, now you can!
“Clicker” games have come a long way since 2014. I would really, REALLY love to make a Yandere Clicker 2, with tons of improvements over the original…but I’ve pledged to dedicate my time exclusively to Osana until she’s finished, so that’s what I’m going to do.

I realised that I sound biased saying this and to be honest, I can’t justify why I feel there is a difference, but a yandere kun just seems a little more evil than yan-chan.
It’s like I feel he’d be less interested in having Senpai’s love all to himself and more Senpai he/rself.

Seriously, its not that hard to figure out.
They said “Senpai’s love” ie, Senpai’s reciprocated feelings.
Meaning, they think Yandere-kun would see Senpai more as a possession or a toy for him that “everyone wants to touch but aren’t allowed”
They think Yandere-kun seems more like the type of Yandere who seems more like the type to not give a shit if Senpai loves him or not but rather care that Senpai belongs to him or not.
But yan- kun is obsessive making him more dangerous with the personality of Ayano

I’m hoping that he stays the same as Yandere chan, as the second personality isn’t really Yandere since he feels no attachment to senpai but only sees her as a pawn in his “game of death”.

I wouldn’t say that necessarily… because the type of personality is actually a yandere trope.
Yuuya Kizami from Corpse Party exhibits this personality the most. He’s a sociopath who lacks a lot of empathy for others, seeing them as pawns when convenient for him, and he develops a twisted desire to have Yuka become his little sister by any means possible. He seemed like a kind and caring person on the outside but his core was brutal in the worst possible way.
No, Yandere’s are motivated by a actual attachment to another person, thats what separates Yandere’s from Yangire’s or just normal psychopath’s.
There violent actions are stemmed from their need to have a person all to themselves.
Yuuya Kizami from Corpse Party is not a yandere, since he didn’t have any real attachment to Yuka, he was just playing a sadistic game in which he made her his “little sister” because he wanted to have fun with killing her.
He didn’t kill her due to “If I can’t have you, no one can” he was just a sadistic killer.

This is all super awesome and amazing but, I can’t help but wonder. WHY HAVEN’T YOU COMPLETED FUNCTIONALITY FOR MALE STUDENTS?! At least given them the same animations as the female students and the ability to be mind slaved? At that, why is Kokona still the only person who can be covered with liquid? I wanna burn Midori! I know I can just flame demon it up but, come on. Anyway, female students have had completed functionality for months, you’re moving on to the rival and you haven’t even mentioned finished the basic small stuff like male student functionality. PLEASE, please address this. Address why you haven’t worked on it at least. PLEASE, for the love of God. Or I will keep posting this same question on every post and video I see.
But Yandere Dev is focusing on more important things than some small stuff. I think that he first need to finish important things in the game, in order to add some small stuff into the game.( Sorry, I’m from Poland, so my English is bad… )
It requires new animations. I have very few animation volunteers. It can take a very long time for them to create new animations for me.
My top priority is adding new functionality to the game. As long as I’ve confirmed that the latest feature working for at least one gender, I feel like it’s time to move on to the next feature.

You have to use the 5 on the numpad. (If you have a generic keyboard, it should be a pad of numbers–looking similar to a phone’s keypad–to the left) Not the one above the letters. Be aware – if you’re playing on a laptop in may not have it. And not all desktop keyboards have it. Hope this helped.

I think that it’s cool and smart that Yandere dev started yandere kun a little early. Even if it’s still experimental stage and Yandere dev will start working on adding assets to him when he polishes the game after the “transformation” (company or kickstarter).I think that would make the development of him shorter because the animations, elimination methods, voice acting (For Yan-chan and other characters), and etc. are implemented so when they add assets to Yandere kun they’ll have a base to work on.

Yeah I was dealing with that issue myself. I finally figured it out. You’re doing it right with the numpad, but I think yanderedev accidentally put it under the easter egg debug by mistake. I tried the same thing but I opened the easter egg debug instead and it showed the eyes for yandere-chan there.

(Take note that yes I am aware you’d have to change designs get more voice acting and many many other things, but I’m asking if something like that or similair may happen later on, y’know since you’ll be getting a team and more things will be possible and you’ll be doing some form of kickstarter whether it be a kickstarter to launch the game or a form of the payments from the demo.) Yanderedev has already addressed this. The rivals will stay as girls, and if you have a female senpai, they will be bisexual. Therefore, no male rivals are needed.

Well a simple answer that is not about “We want it.” And more of a fandom call “I have this for you guys”. Believe me or not if the game is more diverse in choosing the gender many people would be interested in it …. Fangirls mostly , for example I ship McHanzo from Overwatch I didn’t have the game and now I bought it. UNDERTALE has a main with no gender you could imagine it as any. It is 2017 and people would like to choose such things. A guy might want to NOT run around for a guy , He would like to be a guy after a girl… a Girl could love a girl and so on. It is respectable from YandereDev to add something like this as not many are open to such decisions (you?) It is just a small add that adds joy and since I told some of my friends about this ( they didn’t play anymore) they downloaded it again. Indeed he could focus on other things …. but you should focus on school/job/god knows what not on taking something nice and turning in something bad , but you don’t. As well GAY is not only girls. THAT is not respectful at all. So 2 girls are fine? but 2 guys are not? That is sexist. Love doesn’t care about your gender so he makes it free for any. a Yandere will love and that is it ! I love how evil Yandere-kun looks. IDK why but I feel it’s fitting, moreso for him than it would be if Yandere-CHAN was the one who looked evil.

For some reason, if I use the debug command to summon Musume in my basement, there’s Saki, but if I leave her there and go to school, Saki’s still there, and so is Musume. I also can’t kidnap Musume because Saki’s clone is already there.
Im pretty sure Yandere-kun is an SCP…SCP-96 to be precise..

Honestly, my preferred next big reveal for the game: Sempai is a Yandere himself, all along. (Wouldn’t be surprised if that was one of the potential endings, like, if his sanity is low. Turns out he had something up with his brain himself, so he and Yandere-chan will remain together in blissful Yandereness~ …I think it’d work.)

Let’s forget the work that would have to go into design for the moment regarding male rivals.
Granted, if Senpai-chan happens and the player chooses a male it could be done with sprite and voice-swapping.
For same-sex Yandere and Senpai, the first thing that’d have to happen is the sprite design then the anims and then the recorded dialogue… It’s work, a lot of work.
For the record, the one thing I want from this game is the total freedom of choice at startup (Yandere and Senpai’s gender). The second thing I want is a save/load system, but I honestly CAN wait for either of them to happen, at YanDev’s leisure.
