In the past, I have always tried to upload a new video and a new build on the 1st and 15th day of every month, right when the clock strikes midnight (in the PST timezone). The video I’m currently working on is quite an elaborate one, so I won’t be able to hit the midnight deadline tonight.
This video is is going to be around 10 minutes long, and it usually takes me 1 hour of work to produce 1 minute of video footage, so it’ll take me around 10 hours total to finish this video. It probably won’t be ready tonight…however, I feel very hopeful that the video will probably be finished less than 27 hours from now!

I vote for a sadistic yandere-kun please !!! i can all ready imagine him bullying senpi yaaaassss. if i had my way he would be a role model popular student athletic, top grades, and no on suspects . however he would have a super dark side making
1) he could make inappropriate advances on senpi in dark hallways when no ones looking
2) he could leave mementos of the dead suitors he killed in her locker โ he should be borderline terrifying.
3) he could Isolating senpi from her friend by spreading rumors and bringing her reputation down so know one wants her
4) he could find ways to embarrass her in front potential of suitors so they lose interest
Also unlike the female protagonist he should be a little more deliberate. his senpi should know hes doing it but cant prove it because his clean up is so good . but if the player is sloppy he gets busted and expelled or arrested . Also all the suitors pursue senpi for different not always positive reasons they heard a rumor and believes she is easy , or they heard she is a delinquent and want her to join but the twist is more undesirable he makes senpi the rivals suitors become more serious, thuggish, or sadistic and less likely to be ran away.

Um, wow. #1: You, the main character, you are supposed to be an outcast when you first start. Your not supposed to be popular off the bat, you need to earn your status. Your supposed to LOVE your senpai, and you would never want them to get hurt or harassed, so this idea is already flawed. By making sexual passes, your harming/ harassing senpai. #2: leaving pictures in there locker OF DEAD PEOPLE, they WILL report it to the police, the police can dust for finger prints, you will be caught, even if you do a good clean up, and again, harassing senpai is a big no-no. #3 Harming senpai. #4 Harming senpai. The main point of the game is getting senpai. You don’t want to mentally destroy them, or they will trust NO ONE. If they trust no one, then you will not get senpai, cause, duh they don’t trust you. Your idea is flawed in so many ways. And if this is a joke it’s even worse, your wasting Yandere Dev’s time.
Also more proof that Yandere-kun would kill/ harm other people for his senpai, but wouldn’t directly harm her.

Ehm, actually no.
In the future game you can chose ONLY the gender of the Senpai and (hopefully) of the Yandere. The rivals will remain females in any case, so if you chose a female Senpai all the rivals are bisexuals, Yandere will be a lesbian and Senpai probably will be a lesbian too.
If the male Yandere will be put in the game we can chose to made him fall il love with a male Senpai o a female Senpai. In the first case Senpai will be a bisexual, the Yandere will be a gay and the rivals will be hetero. In the second case all the rivals and Senpai will be bisexual and the Yandere will be hetero.

It will be MONTHS till Osana is implemented because YandereDev wants the animations that are specifically for Osana in the game when she’s implemented.

Osana most likely will be a different character. If she is implemented then Kokona should turn into a normal character, with almost no functions.
By the way, Osana is an official rival, not a test rival or an “placeholder” rival.
1- why not the possibility to chose the rival? for example, if you play a challenge scout or look for bugs and you have to play the week 10, this wuold allow you to choose Megami without having to spend houres to be able to test what you want.

Male protagonist? Hmm…
I mean, yeah, it would be cool. But I would like it if you could choose the gender of the protagonist and senpai separately. At least give the option instead of being always opposite genders. It would give the game more replay value. It would be the same if one can choose the gender of the rivals separately as well, choosing all of them as one gender or being able to mix both genders at random to make the game even more fun. Letting the player choose is always positive for players.

Changing the rival’s gender will be a lot of work. I don’t think it’s worth it considering Yanderedev’s time.

I feel like Yandere-chan and Yandere-kun should have same personality, so people can pick gender they want without being “tied down” with one or another personality. Option to be sadist or “emotionless” for both of them would be pretty fun, since it adds replay value without making you pick gender you don’t want.

Honestly I kind of like the idea of the male Yandere, but since you did say you didn’t like the idea of a male yandere odds are you’ll pick the second choice of him just being a sadist who’s doing what’s he’s doing for fun.
That actually really fits with the theme of a horror game where you’re the monster. Especially since the guy in question doesn’t really love senpai but just wants to entertain himself.

If Yan-kun is the male version of Yan-chan then he should probably have a name that has Yan in it too, but if you’re going for the more sadistic character you possibly wouldn’t have to stick with that theme. In that case, I would suggest Ayato as his name, because it is close enough to Ayano to be its counterpart, but seperate from the “Yandere” identity Yandere-chan has, becaude in this case he wouldn’t be her male equivilent.

I LOVE the idea of Yandere-Kun. I just really hope that yanderedev would add him to the game. I understand that it might not happen, and that it takes time, money, and he’ll need a vary amount of voiced lines/animations for the character itself.

I didn’t particularly care for the idea at first, but a Yandere-kun with a slightly different personality does sound interesting. Making him 1:1 with Yandere-chan might be a little more difficult than people realize anyway. For example, nobody’s got a problem with seeing Yandere-chan going into the girl’s bathroom or locker room until after she’s tried to murder the rival she followed in, but Yandere-kun might have to be a bit sneakier about it. There’s also things to consider like the matter of Yandereism apparently being a matrilineal trait of the Aishi family.
I’d imagine him as being a first game clear unlock with slightly different gameplay and a slightly different story. That way every player still has to experience the main version of the story with Yandere-chan at least once and he adds a bit of replay value. I understand why some people might prefer him to be simply a male Ayano for customization purposes, but that’s my two cents on the subject.

This is the weirdest sexism I’ve seen yet – why is Yandere-Kun’s personality (who should literally just be Yandere-Chan’s personality in a guy) so different to Yandere-Chan? Yan-Chan is classed as ‘lovesick’, while Yan-Kun is ‘twisted’? Christ Alex, just because someone has a dick doesn’t make them some creepy rapist stalker. Either Yan-Kun is lovesick like Yan-Chan, or Yan-Chan is as possessive and violent as Yan-Kun. You can’t just rework the personality and sell it off as the same person, but I suppose that’s a lot to ask from a guy who steals MMD assets with no credit.
Well I get where you’re coming from, I think Dev wanted a yandere personality that was different from the female protag because of the possibility of introducing him as a rival. There was talk ages ago of a yandere rival after the same senpai, and it’d be no fun if they were *exactly the same. The option is still open for yandere-kun to be a exact copy if he were to become a playable character tho
I think just changing the gender is cheaper but it such a waste gameplay wise each character should have his own story and personality would make replaying it awesome
