In the past, I have always tried to upload a new video and a new build on the 1st and 15th day of every month, right when the clock strikes midnight (in the PST timezone). The video I’m currently working on is quite an elaborate one, so I won’t be able to hit the midnight deadline tonight.
This video is is going to be around 10 minutes long, and it usually takes me 1 hour of work to produce 1 minute of video footage, so it’ll take me around 10 hours total to finish this video. It probably won’t be ready tonight…however, I feel very hopeful that the video will probably be finished less than 27 hours from now!

My Guesses:
1: Yandere-chan is surrounded by the rivals she will face later in the game
2: Osana is going to her locker in the morning to change her shoes
3: Yandere-chan after eliminating Osana is asking Info-chan why she wanted her gone
4: Explaining the new rival each week of gameplay
5: A confession animation for Yandere-chan and Senpai
So maybe… It might be another video about the next build having rivals (at least some of them), and getting close to be able to successfully complete the game.
Is it just me, or does Osana’s hair look a bit shorter than usual?
Yandere-kun is so handsome. I would love to play as him.
I hope that sometime in the future YandereDev that you can implement Yandere-kun. I know it would be a lot of work, but it would also bring a lot more interest to the game from a wider audience. Everyone still loves Yandere-chan, but others have also dreamed of Yandere-kun and it would make their dreams a reality if he was implemented. I’ll gladly cheer for you YandereDev and thank you for making such a fun and interesting game. ^^
Dear Yandev,
Many of us would pay through the nose to include “Yan-Kun”. We know it is a stretch goal. We know it would make the game take much longer to complete. We know it would mean more work for you. But, the ability for both Senpai AND The Protagonist to be Male OR Female, would make it a much higher quality game, worth more, appeal to a wider range of audiences, and generally make the game more fun and of higher quality. If anything, (No offense to the original “Yandere” meaning etc.) Having a Male Protagonist usually tends to not only sell better, but make for a more interesting game. Not only that, but stretching the normal boundaries of the japanese “Yandere” would draw attention and introduce the concept of a male Yandere to a lot of people.
In general, I believe adding a male protagonist would sky-rocket the game, not to mention the fact that so many people would love that ability to customize the game further. I know it seems like a poor attempt at recreating “Ayano” and seems as if we put no creativity or effort into it, but the japanese name “Yano” is actually a pretty good first name for a boy. People are saying “Ayato”, but in order for other people to call him “Yan-Kun”, Ayato would not work. Please take time to consider this. Even make a poll, including all the Pro’s and Con’s you can think of. I can sit here and say that the game would only benefit from this option.
Everybody wants Yan-Kun to be a thing. You even added him to the characters page, so you’re considering it! Please listen to us and add it! It would make so many people happy! But whatever you choose to do, we love you Yandev. Keep doing what you’re doing!

There’s no real reason for Yandere-KUN to be different from Yandere-CHAN; the emotionless backstory works for both genders.
Still excited to see YandereDev’s seriously thinking about adding a male version of the protagonist, though.

i really really REALLY hope yandere-kun will be implented and we’ll be able to choose the protagonist gender and senpai’s gender without them being linked (like, not being forced to have a girl senpai if we play a boy yandere and the other way around) just because it would really REALLY increase the game’s lifetime since every different save would be really different from the last one just with messing with this option ..
i really hope you’ll make him playable ;_; that’s like my dream about yandere-chan since the very beginning, and i really think that’s unfair how most game don’t let you chose what gender you want to play, i really hope to see that in the final game, even if it takes longer to release the final version because of it. i’m already so hopeful seeing him (and dang he’s handsome) on the characters page, haaaa ..
but i don’t get why people say rivals should also have male counterparts, rivals aren’t characters you’re supposed to identify with OR like (like yandere-chan and senpai), so, their gender don’t matter as much to me .. even though the idea of 10 girls turning lesbians in the span of 10 weeks is kind of not logical, it’s still fun XD
anyway, the game has grown so much since the last time i tried playing it, you’re incredible ! i hope you’ll be able to do everything you want with the game and i can’t wait for the final version, hoping it will be how i imagine it to be !
