Right now, it’s still May 31st where I live. 2 hours and 30 minutes remain until my calendar rolls over to June 1st. That’s when I’ll post the new build!
I promised that I’d post a preview of upcoming content every day that the build was delayed, and because it’s still May in my time-zone, that means it’s time for one last preview.
This preview is going to be different than the rest. Instead of showing you a preview of upcoming game content, I’m going to show you a preview of something that is going to appear on my YouTube channel one day in the future.
A few months ago, I planned to make an important announcement about something on my YouTube channel. I wanted the video to be special, so I asked the super-talented Beedrops to produce some illustrations for my announcement. She’s the artist who created the artwork for the Raising the Strength Stat video!
However, my circumstances changed, and I decided to postpone the announcement. Every day, I think about those awesome illustrations that Beedrops made for me, and I feel guilty that nobody has seen them yet. So, here’s what I’ve decided to do…
I won’t make the announcement yet, but I will show you the artwork that will be used for the announcement. You’re free to speculate about what this mysterious announcement will be about, and how these illustrations are meant to go along with it. Enjoy!

Beedrops work is amazing! It has a really cool art style and and great detail. I’m also looking forward for that video and this update coming out, I’m spamming refresh on my tab after 2 hours. I can see you did an amazing job here Yandere dev, including your volunteers. I want to name the volunteers I know but I don’t want to leave anybody out and some are anonymous so I want to applaud every volunteer in general! Good job you guys!

I doubt they are gaming club changes. If this announcement is as important as it seems it wouldn’t have to deal with something that’s a minor part of the game. Midori is probably there to make the announcement more entertaining, maybe she suggest something and it’s actually a smart idea.

I’m guesing the video is going to be a face reveal. You wanted to do it before a kick starter to make sure people trust you. It starts of most likely with Midori asking if the video is about a new elimination method. You constantly say no and she boos. You calm her down for the surprise and hype her up by saying it is something special. That is where Her and You will be presenting your actual face.The asumption is due to your character representing you doesn’t look like Senpai anymore. It looks more like you in the very few photos and videos of you before you started the development of Yandere Simulator.

Considering we are somewhat far from the Kickstarter, Yandere Dev is probably not revealing his face yet. The reveal isn’t something he’s excited about (he’s insecure) so I doubt he’d make it the final preview. Though I do believe the video will play out the way you guessed, with Midori getting excited over some important announcement.

I have an idee for midori. when the update will be posted, she will jump and behind Yan-dev and scream “AAAAAT LEEEEAAAAAST”. then Yandev will explain what was causing such a delay.
Even if I think he could have post an update with the minor improvements (like Midori has probably said to you), I’m sure he did your best to not be to late.
well … he failed with the delay. I’m sorry. BUT, for people who are angry, you have to remember that:
At first, Yandev was stuck with his animation and THEN he worked on minor things (probably why he couldn’t make the update).
Then, when the update is ready on May 28th (for example), it’s realy silly to post it if June 1st is only 4 days later.
Last but not least, Yandev said in the last video (with the consellor) that it could take at least a month. It did and we wait. That’s true. But that’s not like he didn’t say us.
Moreover, he posted a preview for each day he’s late so we can wait. I find that’s nice from him to let us see what happen next peraps rather letting us wait without show any sign of life.
So please … Wait
