What’s happening here? It looks like a girl is tripping and falling down. If it’s Yandere-chan, why would there be a gameplay mechanic about falling to the ground? If it’s not Yandere-chan, then who is tripping? Is this character carrying something at the first frame of the animation? If so, what are they carrying, and what’s going to happen to that object when they fall down?
I’m not going to tell you just yet! You’ll have to wait until this feature has been added to the game! Have fun speculating about it!

If it’s Yandere-chan, why would there be a gameplay mechanic about falling to the ground?
Maybe if you run on a slippy place (shower, stairs, delinquent area, …), she will fall.
It could be a new challenge for get away with muder.
For example :
If you carry a corpse and fall, the corpse will dropp and the corps will make a new bloody mop
If you carry a trash, it will empty it and spread all the dirt on the floor (with a body part if there is one)
Maybe if you fall on something sharp, you will have your blood on your clothes.
If it’s the case, you’dd better not be seen by Senpai or a teacher. (not realy plausible because everybody can hurt oneself)
If it’s not Yandere-chan, then who is tripping?

I wonder if it could be a kind of event in which you can interact.
For example, the girl is carrying a full trash, she fall and spread the dirt on the ground. You could help her to clean up and then
increase your reputation.

Here are my Idees
bucket –> the contents is spread on the ground
trash –> idem
corps –> spread more blood
something brittle (like the cleaning robot) –> break

Or you can push someone so they fall down the stairs?
That would be cool. That wouldn’t exactly kill them, but injure them so they would have to be sent to the nurse?
That could be a way to steal the tranq and syringe!
Maybe another way to low Kokona’s reputation.
For Example:You will place a trap and Kokona will run on it,and fall in public and everyone who saw it will laugh at her.

Maybe its when Osana has her love confession letter and then yandere chan pushes her down but your idea is cool also but this game update feels like the final update!
Oh trust me, this update is nowhere NEAR the final update.
The game is somewhere around 10% complete.
The game isn’tt 10% complete. The Dev said that number is only there to let people know that the game is incomplete and that it isn’t accurate. In one of his videos, he talks about what he wants in the game before he launches a Kickstarter, and it was less than halfway complete at that time. I calulated the new additions in and it’s now more than halfway complete until the Kickstarter.
Well, It appears to be Running in the beginning but then tripping over the white tile where an object should be placed. The Model also appears to be holding something but the item or object is not placed or modeled in. She didn’t drop anything either. Speculations are quite good but I haven’t the time to read them all.
It could also be if some of the other students run away from yandere-chan.. that they then would fall.. making it easier to kill them?
They or Yandere-chan could slip in a pool of blood or water and fall down =)
Making it easier or maybe harder to catch those who run away =)
Well in my opinion is that yandere chan is running down the hallway while she is running she didnt run carefully and fell down or she didnt aware of a slippy thing and trip and fell down another opinion is kokona chan is on the cleaning duty and she stay after school to clean the school or her classroom but this might happening on Monday where the dating thing of kokona chan take place so because of that she have to do it quickly and when the whole thing almost done then she running with a trash can and fell down by tripping or didnt run carefully and the hallway is a mess. At this point a teacher was walking around school to see if there any students left while she was walking kokona chan fell down and the trash in the trash can flew out and hit the teacher so teacher must be mad and thought that was a prank because she didnt saw kokona falling so teacher call her parents and kick her out of the school (I think but it might not be correct because this only my opinion so please dont judge me ok )
Well, she wouldn’t be kicked out. She’d be taken to the counseler.

I’m in India and in India, school is a bit similar to school in Japan, both being in Asia (Like the students staying in classroom thing). I dunno if Japanese teachers make students to do errands since the way they work is a bit different. Ok, so maybe the rival is told to bring folders or checked tests towards the end of the class so she tries to run to class but trips, gets up and tries to sort it all out. You can choose to kill her, throw water on the papers or whatever so she gets in trouble (Detention, which would be helpful on Friday) or help her and become friends.
Also, some of the replies I made to complete the idea:
If you get caught throwing water on said thing, the rival tells the teacher, you get taken to the Guidance Counseler and your reputation drops significantly.
Ooh! And you can throw water on the rival herself, too!
And since teachers sometime put personal belongings in folders, maybe Yan-Chan could steal something from the teacher’s folder while the rival is on the floor and sneak it into the rival’s desk.

Or this could be used to chase people here’s a situation this is useful
There are 4 loners right next to your rival and you don’t want a bad reputation so you would either:
1: Mop the floor with
2. spread butter? (Coking club maybe?)
So you kill your rival and 2 of the loners and 1 of the loners slip you stab him/her then you run up to the other one
But… whats an idem?

It looks like she’s carrying a bin with a body part in it, which will fall out onto the ground when she trips, to me.
I think it’s a scene for sabotaging your rival. Say, she’s gonna give something to senpai or talk to him (“Notice me Senpai” approach). Yandere will put an obstacle to her path (psssh, or maybe just simply hide in a corner and trip rival with Yan-chan’s own foot).
Remember that Devpai did say that there will be ways to SABOTAGE (not eliminate, just sabotage) your rival during their scenario/event everyday within their week.

When You Pour Water/Blood On Kokona, There Will Be A Puddle.. So If A Loner/Coward Will Run, They Will Slip And Its Way More Easier For The Protagonist To Kill It! On The Other Hand, If A Teacher\Deliquint/Heroic Will Chase You, They Will Slip And Fall To The Ground, And You Have A Time To Escape..OR Maybe, You Can Put An Obstacle On Someone’s Path While Running And Your Sanity Is Low, While Someone It Is On The Ground You Can Stab E’m!!! This thing on the ground doesn’t really look like water but it could be. Than it could be in the bathroom when Kokona is washing herself. Then she notice Yandere-chan? Or it could be water around the school. I mean it could have anything to do with this probably rain from Preview 9?

Maybe if you put a body part in a bin, and get your rival to carry it, if they fall the body part will fall out, and they’ll be framed for murder from having the body part.

Maybe this is one of the elimination methods? You do something to the floor, so the Rival would trip, especially if she’s running and holding something that can possibly block her view. It is not lethal by itself, as this animation shows, but if you make your Rival fall with her face on something sharp, that will eliminate her. Something like that.
maybe its kokona when she is carrying the plate of octo-dogs, yandere -chan will put a rope or thread from the sewing room, then when kokona falls the plate will break on her face or she will not be hurt she will be embarrassed around senpai, senpai would never love a fool or a clumsy girl/boy. >:)

thats what i thought, the dropped item is just a distraction, while the falling down is so you can get low and snap a shot.
I would believe it could be a way to ruin your rival’s reputation with Senpai. With the new rain mechanics, the concrete in the courtyard can get slippery. If you put a body part in your rival’s bin while she is distracted/picking up rubbish, there is a chance while running across wet concrete in a near populated area, that she will skip and the head will fall out along with the trash. If a student witnesses this, her reputation will go down and students will gossip about her. If Senpai sees her, he believe she is a murderer and will never love her.
Humiliation plot to bring down their reputation?

Navigating this site keeps bringing up a ‘threat detected’ message, the ‘threat’ being ‘HTML:Script-inf’. I’m not sure if something’s happened like the sites been attacked or if Avast is just finding false positives.
Other people are saying that Avast thinks the video is dangerous. It’s completely fine. It’s just Avast doing that.

Maybe the rival is carrying something dangerous and fragile and when they trip and fall, it breaks and releases its content on them which causes them to die.

It definitely has something to do with the sabotage methods they will be in the game. It might be because of the rain or not, but someone obviously slips on something and drops whatever they were carrying.
I think this is not a method of disposal, but something to hinder us. I would say yes, is Yandere, and she is carrying a recycling bin (full of body parts) and she stumbles into something, leaving all fall to the ground, and being delivered to everybody. I think that, since it is simply easier for you to get rid of the bodies with the help of trash.
Yeah, because earlier Yandere Dev said we could put dismembered body pats in a bin, and during clean up, someone else would clean it up for you.

Depending upon how wide the arms are at the start, it looks like the rival is carrying something big. My guess is she’s carrying an open box of paint supplies. Tripping her would cause the supplies to go flying. And, if Senpai is standing there, paint would get all over him and he would think the rival did it on purpose.
All the rivals are on good terms with Senpai. He wouldn’t think that.
She looks exactly like kokona with blood/water on her, maybe she trips because she is wet, kind of like an asthetic addition

I’m pretty sure that teachers get students to do errands, particularly the students on day-duty and the class representative.
These students can sometimes even be trusted with important documents, if the teacher considers them to be reliable.
I think it’s a scenario when Kokona wants to bring someting to someone (but she’s already being bullied) and someone trips Kokona up.

Yandere Chan could predict where a potential witness would run and set up something for them to trip on so they slow down for her to kill them, maybe?
My thoughts are that she is carrying a bucket of water/blood and she trips and lands face first in the bucket, making her bloody or just wet.
I think that it could be that new girl (remember, baggy socks, short skirt and cool hair) She could be running to class and then trips. She could then pour water on her like when Kokona-Chan is taking her phone call. The girl would then go to the shower and be late for class; giving you a chance to murder her. Remember when Yan-Chan was in Kokonas house having a conversation. well she could be talking to her about the murder, Whilst having this talk Kokona could reveal a deep secret. The player then has a text conversation with someone about Kokona. Kokona doesn’t know about the gossiping and continues to be your friend. She will find out about the gossiping and gets into an argument with you. Then your important decision is ‘Do i kill her or potentially have rumours spread about me. Lol idk.
