No, I think that the base model for the animation is that one. If you look at the very beginning you’ll see that basically all the girls are the same. But yeah, maybe Ayano-chan can die too.
that’s not realy ayano. In fact, MDD animation is made in 2 parts:
At first you have the patern which is the animation without any texture.
Then you have the skin which is only a picture
When tou combine both of them, you can have a real animation.
In fact, what you saw above is only the patern and this animation will be seen with other students(when they burn or other things)
But don’t worry! Ayano won’t die .(I think, I can’t promise)

here is are the most of theories I’ve seen that I think it could work (unlike the 6th I found my self … I’m sorry)
1- carnivorous bugs (ike red ants)
2- fire
3- hot liquid, poison or acide
4- curse (not realy plausible)
5- bucket of blood (doesnt’t kill, but makes the sanity drop a lot)(not realy plausible)
6- shower and slide (realy not plausible(this one is a joke))

If it were fire she wouldn’t look herself over before trying to get it out nor would she dust off her skirt. It has to be something that can be mistaken at first glance so possibly insects. On the note of insects it could be that she was coated in something that attracts them as she is pelted with something, possily stings from insects. But this has probably been brought up a few times already.
Wait, nevermind. Forgot about Flame Demon. Blue fire can be mistaken and flames without an accelerant can be dusted of like dirt if it hasn’t caught onto the surface yet.

I think a death by fire is the most likely option. A death by killer bees/bugs/spiders would also be an option, but I can’t really think of a scenario with killer bees/bugs/spiders in a high school. XD
I think burning your rival to death is more likely, since Ayano-Chan can probably find the attributes to make fire, somewhere at school. i.e. A lighter from the cooking club, and burneable substances from the science lab or something.

So you could take a take something like a jar of red ants in the laboratory (these auts are planned by the facultybto be used for lessons) and drop it on Kokona when she is at phone Monday before school. when a teacher found her corpse, she will use an extinguisher to kill the ants and to avoid this happen again, things like red ants woudn’t be allowed in scool any more. (So it’s a one time kill, like the mask)

The gardening club could remove bugs from the dirt, and put it in a bucket, if Yandere-Chan was in the club, the Gardening leader would ask to Yandere-Chan to dispose of the bucket, then Yandere-Chan could throw it on Kokona or another student.
