I’m going to cheat a little bit with today’s preview image. The following image isn’t actually content that will be appearing in the next build, but is content that will be appearing in a future build.
I could explain what’s going on in this image really easily, but I feel like it would be more fun to watch the people in the comment section speculate about it, instead…
possibly there’s a new persona that ties you to a bed and wait for the police to arrive if they see you insane, covered in blood, killing someone, or carrying a corpse

Maybe it’s Yandere-Chan restrained when she’s in a coma in case she wakes up?? I doubt it though, I don’t know where YanDev would put that in the game.
I’ll theorize deeper. Everyone’s assuming that that’s going to happen to Yandere-chan, but when DevPai starts animations, he first uses Yandere-chan’s model and then he uses other models. So what if that’s not something that will happen to Yandere-chan but instead is something that Yandere-chan will be able to do to students or rivals?
True,the animators for this game use Yandere-Chan’s model to try out new things.So it may not have to do anything with her,but it might have to do with rival eliminations.Wonder what he’s planning

I believe it’s what happens to Yandere-Chan if there is a murder at a school, she got rid of the evidence, but did not bring her sanity back to normal, so the police restrain her because she is visibly insane. 😛 At least that’s what YandereDev told me.

I think that the police found Yandere-chan insane so they restrained her and got a game over screen but what i think it would be really cool to have is that you can bring students to the nurse’s office and torture the students after you get rid of the nurse.

Knowing how the game is set up, I think this is one of the plans Yandere-chan could play out. Make herself seem to be the victim to place the blame on someone else, it’s a good way to push suspicions on someone else

I’m pretty sure I heard that The Nurse was supposed to be one of the rivals, so it’s possible that she set up a trap, found out the Yandere had a crush, or something like that… Maybe saw her killing someone for Senpai and tied her up.
My speculation is that this is what happens is too many people catch you murdering someone or too insane: they restrain you and tie you down to a bed.

Maybe since Ayano’s mom kidnapped her (Ayano’s) dad, Ayano could kidnap Senpai and tie him to a bed? Nah, maybe some students report her being insane and the teachers tie her to the bed.
I’m pretty sure this is what will happen when Yandere-chan gets discovered by more than two students/teachers while killing rivals. YandereDev once said that they will retain her until police arrives 🙂
Ok so I think I have it, probably not but I’m just throwing it our there. In yandere chan’s basement instead of a chair there will be a bed. If you were kidnapped and you were being recorded would you be freaking out? I would, perhaps a type of torture. Again probably not. But just to put it out there.
But the tapes mention that Ayano’s father sat in the chair when he was kidnapped, and I don’t think that YanDev would take out something woven into the lore of the game.
Then again, it’s also possible that the chair would be reserved for Senpai, because of its history, and the bed is for torturing.

(When I referred to “this world”, I’m referring to the world we see aka the game) My theory is just that someone swapped places with the real Yandere-chan in the game or someone tried to and ended up on this bed. Maybe Yandere-chan came from a different world and tied up the Yandere-chan from this world? Or the Yandere-chan from this world tied up an invading Yandere-chan? If a Yandere-chan from the different world tied up this world’s Yandere-chan, that would explain why she could just kill off anyone at school except Senpai. Another thing that supports my theory is that the Yandere-chan running around suddenly, out of nowhere is, as Senpai puts it, “Acting strange”. I understand the game as it is now is just a build that isn’t even close to being done, so I can understand the odd situation it currently has, but it makes sense that the different world’s Yandere-chan either killed off her Senpai or her Senpai died and adopted this world’s Senpai as her own.

Ohhh I think I get it. I think that you will be able to frame someone else of kidnapping you or something like that, and that can be released onto the internet, lowering the reputation of the rival and getting the rival expelled. Dunno though.

I feel like this is somehow related to snap mode … Maybe this is going to be included in a final cutscene where Yandere-chan is captured and exposed as a murderous psychopath. This is the aftermath, her being restrained in a mental hospital for the rest of her days. Or that’s what makes the most sense to me, anyway.
