Please Do Not Send Me Suggestions

As I’ve said numerous times, the biggest problem facing Yandere Simulator’s development is the fact that I receive dozens, often hundreds of e-mails every day.

I’m not sure why, but today, I received 150 more e-mails than I usually do. Needless to say, I didn’t write a single line of code for the game today, because I was reading e-mails all day long.

So, what were these e-mails about? Almost all of them were suggestions. As I have stated many times in the past, I do not want to receive suggestions.

99% of the time that I hear a suggestion, it…

  1. Has already been made before.
  2. Is already a planned feature of the game.
  3. Does not fit in with the design of the game.
  4. Is far beyond the scope of a one-man indie game with no budget.

After developing this game for 23 months, I’ve heard almost every possible suggestion. It’s pointless to send me suggestions at this point in time.

If someone sends me a suggestion, I read the first sentence and then delete the e-mail immediately. Depending on how many e-mails I receive, an entire day can be spent just deleting stupid e-mails. Because I’m not even going to bother to read the full text of your e-mail, sending me suggestions is not only a waste of my time, but your time, too.

If I ever want to receive suggestions, I will ask for them.

Remember,

Almost all of the e-mails I received today were from people who wanted to suggest a way for the gaming club to become a real club. And almost all of them made the exact same suggestion. And not only that, but it was a really stupid suggestion, too. This is extremely frustrating.

You know how sometimes a build gets delayed for 24 hours? It’s because of the people who cause me to lose entire days of my time by filling up my e-mail inbox with foolish e-mails.

I couldn’t finish getting through all of my e-mails today. I actually still have over 100 e-mails to go through. I’ll probably spend all of tomorrow reading them, so that I can finally return to working on the game the next day.

The next update will not be as impressive as it could have been, because I had less days to work on it, thanks to all the e-mails I have to go through.

In other words: If you e-mailed me a suggestion yesterday, you officially contributed to making the next build worse. Great job.

YandereDev, YandereDev! Why don’t you just hire a secretary?

Worst. Idea. Ever.

  1. I don’t want to babysit a secretary until they’re doing their job properly.
  2. I don’t want to risk the secretary responding to questions incorrectly and spreading misinformation.
  3. I don’t want to risk the secretary filtering my e-mails incorrectly and failing to send me important e-mails.
  4. I don’t want to risk the secretary being lazy and going through e-mails so slowly that I’m better off doing it myself.
  5. I don’t want to risk the secretary seeing spoilers or other confidential information and then talking about it on social media.

To put it simply, I only trust myself to handle the task of checking my e-mail and responding to questions / corresponding with volunteers. I don’t want to risk someone else screwing things up.

Don’t e-mail me with questions. Don’t e-mail me with your character ideas. Don’t e-mail me with requests for the game. Don’t e-mail me with suggestions for the game. And, for the love of all that is holy, DO NOT e-mail me with your thoughts on my e-mail situation.

  1. There should really be a flash warning or something on this page. Seriously. As much as I love this game, I really do, I personally hate getting emails telling everyone not to send emails. I feel like they’re entirely too often. I want to hear about the game and the updates, and how things are moving along. Not this.

Again, an epilepsy warning would have been awesome.

    • fuck you you fucking retarded autistic faggot i hope you die in your sleep you kikeniggerfaggot cocksucking fuckwad shitcovered autistic scrub die in your fucking sleep and leave forever you 9 year old faggot

      • You can shut your mouth and grow up because your the one who needs to calm down. Do you stay up till midnight making this game?NO!! So deal with your problems and stay off of this website if you do things like this.

    • Well fuck you then, nobody speak to my dev like that, why dont you and your fucking hands do something more effective like doing homework, or help your mom, shut the fuck up

      • Are you guys serious? Notice how YandereDev doesn’t use language like this? Because it makes you so so much worse than these e-mails. Makes you more immature than the 15th person making that same suggestion. You are whining more than the person who posted it. Grow, the fuck, up!

    • Actually I do feel the same way yanderedev feels okay it’s like I’m on the whatsapp then suddenly my main group chat get a 10000000 maybe messages because I can’t read them all and I have no time to complain! So that’s why I set a timetable for them to keep quiet so now the messages are reducing but sometimes some people just don’t get the hang of it

  2. these fucking people will never learn from mistakes didn’t they ? You don’t want the build gets delayed but in fact YOU are the one who is delaying it by sending stupid fucking emails. Jesus,no wonder YandereDev lose his sanity a long time ago.

  3. I hope those people who send suggestions/questions to YandereDev will stop 😑😑 damn Midori Gurins all over the world

  4. YandereDev crying about e-mails for the billionth time.

He knows how to code but he can’t even solve simple problems.

    • niggerfuck autistic faggot shitwad cant even spell right go back to the shithole you came from and stay there you autistic downs syndrome handicap

      • Oh, how uneducated you must be, sir. For the record, you’re not much better in the GUM department. Can’t rather than cant, capitalization, punctuation…Besides, what spelling errors, hmm?

    • @Tony “when are they going to lean.”

He’s posted about getting e-mails in SEVERAL blog posts as well as made videos on his youtube. There’s to many thousands of fans to control them all. The Dev needs to learn.

      • I believe that people just need to read the FAQs and these kinds of blog post before e-mailing him (and his 2 videos about e-mails and what had changed). There’s really nothing Dev can do. Obviously people simply don’t listen or read his video and blog post about sending him stupid e-mails. I think it’s where the point that there’s no point of making these types of blog post anymore. There will be always (*those*) fans (or trolls maybe) who don’t read the FAQs etc. His fan-base is becoming rapidly bigger and as something or someone becomes bigger= the more shit they/it has to deal with. More than likely its probably trolls up to this point doing this.

      • There would still be smartasses, but it would weed out the well intentioned but still bad emails at least. Which is what this blog post is trying to accomplish.
You have two camps of bad emailers: the ignorant and the assholes. You can’t get around the assholes, but you can at least raise the bar for entry enough that the ignorant can’t get in.

    • Who wants the game to be better! You? Ok I have a plan for you.. Stop the people that are sending those emails to stop.. U are the one sending? Stop! If u don’t care about the game? stay away from yanderedev’s email box

  5. Hm, this again? I believe he already made 3 blog post (including 2 videos) about the whole e-mail ordeal. I find it funny whenever there’s a blog post about this there’s always a lot of hate but when there’s an update everything is just positive comments and compliments etc.

    • The blog should be for updates. and people get mad because it’s mostly trolls sending him e-mails and he’s constantly wasting every ones time making these long drawn out posts about e-mails that applies to nobody.
people will intentionally send him e-mails for the sole fact that he asked them not to, that’s a fact of the internet. the more popular you and your game becomes, the more e-mails from uninformed fans you will receive.

      • @Jesus Ah the internet can be a cancerous place indeed. True. I always see you around these types of posts not really about the ones for updates on the game or bug fixes.

    • AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH says:

thats because everyone has downs syndrome here
      INCLUDING YOU FAGGOT! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

      • I’m not sure if you’re in support of the Dev or not bro, but spamming a paragraph of swear words doesn’t make you a cool kid, you’re posting anonymously so there’s no real shock factor.
And i’m sure the Dev whose dick you may or may not be suckling, doesn’t want “niggerfaggot” and “shitwad” all over his comments section

      • You guys are dicks you can see that yandere dev is going through a lot of work for us to play this game but you guy just don’t CARE so stop lacking and do SOMETHING THEN SENDING HIM E-MAILS God!

  6. I really wonder when people are going to learn…

DON’T send him emails that waste his time, just read the FAQ and be gone if your brain can’t handle it

    • It’s the Dev’s fault. It’s been a few years and he still doesn’t know he’s on the internet… and has half a million fans.

Most popular content creators realize early on, that when their audience gets to large you simply have to stop trying to reply to every one, it’s not possible. If he could convince 99% of his fan base not to send him e-mails, that still leaves like several THOUSAND people bothering him (not counting trolls)

      • Seriously? if it was yandere dev’s fault, then… why is the people sending him emails? clearly, you didn’t read any blog post

  7. Honestly, you just need to start ignoring these kinds of emails and move on. You said it yourself, you’re losing development time on these emails. Do not respond to them, don’t even read them all the way. As soon as you realize an email is worthless, just move on to the next one.

Your policy of “read and respond to every email” is noble, but ultimately a waste. Every single dev has to deal with this, so you need to start building your own mental filter for dumb emails because they will NEVER stop. No matter how many times you make videos or posts about it. That’s just the way it is when any work of yours gets even a little popular on the internet. Trust me, I’m still receiving the occasional dumb email about a long-defunct project I worked on YEARS ago.

  8. Although I can see the irony that I’m making a suggestion on a post asking for people to not make suggestions, wouldn’t it save a lot of time to simply have the emails digitally filtered? It wouldn’t even be that hard to write up a set of rules for emails on a contact page, then hide rules on how to write the email, like a specific format for the title or specific text that needs to be included in the email, and then just use filters to automatically trash emails that don’t follow these rules and sort those that do.

    • This is pretty much how it should be done. If it doesn’t have “BUG” or “VOLUNTEER” in the title, it should go in the trash immediately. Entire days don’t need to be spent on emails. They just aren’t that important, and the dumb emails will NEVER stop, ever. YanDev needs to accept this and move along so he can focus more on the actual project. For his own good, because otherwise it may burn him out of the entire thing.

  9. Man you stupid fucks never learn. I bet you those who email Yanderedev are mainly dumb fucks who just watch the youtube version of Yandere Simulator. If all you fuckers just take it upon yourselves and play the actual damn game then you wouldn’t be spamming your bull shit emails. If you have a seggestion on a game, good keep it to yourself. If you constantly email suggestions, go fuck off or better yet make your own fucken game. Fuck i swear no one ever learns.

  10. (STOP SWEARING)
I do not email him but I found a bug idk how to email him…
If anyone sees this comment tell this to yanderedev:
WHY CANT I GIVE WEAPONS TO MIND SLAVES AND IT SAYS “Talk” BUT I TRIED AND NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN IM GIVING THE KNIFE TO THE MIND SLAVE IT SAYS “Attack” THEN I JUST DID IT BUT SHE CONTINUES SPEAKING EVEN WHEN SHES DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. well everything i see in the comment section is “F*ck…, f*cking…” cmon guys, this is the development blog, please keep it clean

  12. Well, seems like such a post should appear shortly after every dev build info. Or Nora’s flash pop-up. Seizures for everyone! 😛

PS: Don’t feed the trolls, guys. Especially those lacking finesse.

  13. I still don’t understand why he doesn’t want another email account. How is dealing with two accounts different from dealing with one account?

    • Because then they would both be taken advantage of. Unless you’re thinking that he should only give out the second one to volunteers. While the first is for bugs, fanart/cosplay, trolls, and newcomers.

      • I would just delete the current email and create another one, honestly. 80% of the emails he gets are pointless and from people who don’t bother to look at the blog. (if you saw the youtube comments for the Club Benefits, almost all of them were suggestions for the gaming club sighhh) It wouldn’t fix the problem entirely, but I’m seriously getting pissed off because of the idiots emailing him mindlessly. He needs to do something, otherwise he just needs to put up with the spam like any other Dev.

  14. Translation: There won’t be another update for a month and I’m blaming my fans for it.
Can’t expect him to admit that he’s going to slack off, I suppose.

    • Bear in mind that he doesn’t owe us anything and the public development builds are voluntary.

Don’t blame the Dev for giving him the extra work with emails.

    • All I’m hearing from you is that you have no idea how difficult it is to develop a game. Cut the Dev some slack, you full-scale plebeian.

    • Entitlement some?

People ignore repeated requests from YandereDev not to email him about anything other than bugs or volunteering. They make suggestions for things that are addressed in the FAQ or even that are already in the game. I’m not surprised he’s annoyed …

    • Technically, there are only 2 updates every month. The second one is already up, so the next build would be next month.

  15. Ouch… that gave my a Ocular Migraine… he needs to slow down the Gif, its gonna give someone a seizure. X_x

BUT then someone may not see it… catch 22?

  16. I suggested this before, and I’ll do it again.

What about having an email form? Someone goes to that page instead of emailing you directly via address, and have a dropdown that asks what the email is regarding? The dropdown could be appended to the email subject so you know what’s super important!

Here’s an example of things you could have on the dropdown:

    Bug Report
    Fanart/Cosplay
    Volunteer – Voice Acting
    Volunteer – Programming
    Volunteer – Artwork
    General/Other

I separated the volunteers section because then you can kind of ignore things until a time where you want to look for those. Keep your warnings on your page with the email form as well.

While it’s not 100% Midori-proof, it may help out a bit? Maybe at that time you could put up a video explaining that your old email will be retired on X day and explain that the form is the new way? I know it would give some days of double email duty that you’ve said you don’t want (or just forward email to the new address until whatever date!), but it would only be however many days you decide. Announcing a date for the email retiring would give a couple days for people to adjust to the changes.

    • (No offense) I don’t know if you’re new to Yandere Simulator/Lovesick (I’m assuming you’re not), but Yandev already explained why he wouldn’t put up a forum.

      • No offense, but when did I ever say “forum?” I’m aware he doesn’t want a forum. What I suggested what that he sets up a page on the site that people can write what they want to email with a subject out of a list, and it emails him from the website rather than having his email public.

      • (I’m replying to my own because I can’t reply to your’s for some reason)

I was assuming you just forgot the “u” in “forum” but I see that you really meant an email form.

      • (And I’m stupid when it comes to replying to comments on a blog, yes Not-A-Suggestion was me, I’m just stupid and forget to change names.)

    • Like I said last time, I think your idea for fixing his email problem is the best one out there. I wish that he’d at least consider it, instead of casting the blame everywhere.
The only thing I’d be worried about is the idiots who would completely disregard the new system and post suggestions in the Bug Report box, for example. :C

      • Yeah, like I said, not 100% Midori-proof. I know people would do that.

Best thing I can think is to make the context box default to a blank and can’t send it if the option is blank, but there’s always going to be that Midori going “YandereDev, YandereDev! Can we wait until 2030 to release the game?”

That’s what I imagine all the stupid emails read.

  17. It’s especially bad that a lot of the comments on the update post suggested using the Gaming Club for video games or cyber bullying … both of which the game already has! Meaning that a lot of the emails sent to YandereDev probably contained these “suggestions” too

  18. This really isn’t a suggestion.

The only thing that the gaming club could do for Ayano/Yandere-chan is provide her with searching up different ways to kill people under the guise of researching for her indie game, and letting her play video games at night while making her only thirty minutes late instead of an hour. Or it could just be a bonus club that can only be joined after beating the game.

DON’T email Yandere dev about this, he doesn’t need to be bothered about it.

  19. I’m reading all these comments that say “Fuck you fucking shithead autistic mother fuckers everyone here has fucking down syndrome fuck you fuck all of you” and honestly, JUST STOP.
Do you think swearing will give you any power over people? NO. Do you think that arguments are won through swearing? NO. If you think that “Oh if I swear they’re gonna get scaredy” NO. Just stop pls.
    +
Bro while Yandere Dev is providing us all with all these cool builds and making sure that there are no bugs in it, we should return the favour by not emailing him stupid stuff. You know that he has the power to just stop developing the game, so if you don’t want the game to stop updating because of some stupid email problem instead of an actual technical difficulty, DON’T EMAIL YANDERE DEV. It’s honestly that easy. If you have a suggestion, keep it to yourself. Unless Yandere Dev makes a post about wanting suggestions, keep the damn idea to yourself. “But I have a really good idea-” NO EXCEPTIONS. I know what It feels like when you get spammed with useless emails, and it is annoying as hell.

    • I think the blog got flooded with trolls :c I just ignore them, they’re worthless anyway.
And I agree. Tbh, I’ve never emailed him even once (even when I’ve found crazy bugs) because I’m really scared of accidentally contributing to the problem, sigh. I just wish that people would read the FAQ and, y’know, actually THINK before they send a suggestion to him. I’m cool with people sharing ideas in the comments or whatever, cause its just for fun. But getting an avalanche of suggestions about the same damn thing is just over the line, people need to stop being stupid.

    • Most of these fucktards should be put on WATCHLIST. You never know if they are actually insane.

It will be a point, where devpai will simply delete his e-mail account and channelling e-messages via a private messaging account.

It’s the only solution against fat weeaboos nerds, who seems to have brain cancer.

  20. for any of you who even think that coding a game is easy and that he can live with emails anyway

i would like to see your own work. and make sure its quality is of same level as mr. Dev. and make sure you can do so with 150+ emails coming in.

  21. > And, for the love of all that is holy, DO NOT e-mail me with your thoughts on my e-mail situation
    Ironic.

I like this post. There is so much anger in it. I hope people will finally understand: don’t email YandereDev with either stupid or “smart” suggestions, ’cause you’re turning him MAD.

You should probably make a violent “easter egg”. That should chill you up.
And YandereDev, if you’re reading the comments in this section: stop.

You may take a peek inside, but don’t waste your time on this. I doubt there is something userful here.

    • exactly, I doubt that the ones that have been supporting YandereDev from the start are emailing him dumb stuff, they sound like a bunch of 12 year olds, thinking they’re “helping” him while he is stressed

      • Yeah, there are many people that check this blog everyday since the beginning of the games development, and I guess most of them have never wrote a single email to the developer. Especially for making a suggestion.
I’m sure that 75% of the emails were about the SAME suggestion. There were tons of ideas about the gaming club ( which were silly ), and I can barely imagine how many emails YandereDev got yesterday.
And I’m sure some smartasses wrote YandereDev something like this today:
“Oh, YandereDev, that’s so sad that some idiots wrote you all this emails. Can’t they understand that.. [blah blah blah]”.
        That’s ridiculous.

      • the gaming club idea seems kinda stupid, what does it have to do with killing tbh?! become into a “super stealthy sniper ninja”?!
and omg, i was thinking the exact same thing, sending apology emails to YandereDEv, I don’t see why he completely lost his sanity smh

  22. Just in case he reads the comments:

Please consider changing the accessory Yandere-chan receivers from the drama club.

    😉 ok

  23. That’s what he means… Everyone tells him what he have to do ”Dont Cry” ”You posted this 3 times, could you stop it” ”This Blog is only for Game Updates <- (Did he ever say that?) it's annoying, stop it''

Its his Game, not yours, lol. ''Its Dev's fault'' Oh its his fault that everyone's asking stupid questions? Oh lawdy.

  24. Dude, I understand you want to be a Dev that communicates with his audience, but you’re also a human being. Y’know, a Dev that needs to sleep, eat, and -also- code a game.
If you can’t figure out some way to sort out the important emails, or how to stop the trolls (Likely impossible), then you need to stick with what few volunteers you have and ignore everything else for now. Otherwise you’ll just spend more days getting frustrated, not getting anything done, and it’ll just be an endless cycle of misery.
But, then again, if you wanted you hear suggestions from me, or anyone, you’d prolly ask, wouldn’t you? 😛

Whenever you’re reading this or not, stay determined!

    • He’s already said he doesn’t want to receive suggestions. Having a forum would just create a lot more work, and a moderator passing on suggestions would create a lot of the same problems as having a secretary.

      • He would get less suggestion mails and could ignore most content in the forums. And a moderator that forwards !information! can be ignored too if he wants. I see more pros than cons in a forum.

  25. Seriously, guys? Seriously?
On a side note, Yandere-chan breaks when I try to change her out of the painter’s smock

  26. if Yan-chan was real, people sending stupid emails and making comment section getting dirty with profanity could get killed by her, to make the development faster (people sending stupid emails), and having the blog 100% clean (people making profanity).

  27. I hate to say this again but this problem will never go away. There will always be people who don’t read the rules and there will always be people who think they are absolute geniuses and therefore the rules don’t apply to them. As a result, when you say “do not sent me stupid emails!” they will think “ah! My email is brilliant and my suggestion will make your game worth millions! Surely Yandev will love and praise me for I am amazing!”

Seriously, some people simply are not capable of grasping that they aren’t brilliant, that Yandev may not like their idea, and that the real point is Yandev just doesn’t have time to read a bajillion emails and would prefer it if people focused on important stuff. I know Yandev doesn’t want to hire a secretary or anything like that but I’m worried he’s going to get burned out over all of this or just rage quit one day.

  28. Dear Midori Gurins,
Please don’t think you’re geniuses. You’re not. Now shut up. Pretend Yandere-Dev said that the gaming club is for matchmaking. Thank you.

  29. You would think ppl would get it by now… does yandere dev have to put a disclaimer in every update video to not send him stupid emails now?

  30. Hi, i notice that no body in the game fall in love with yandere chan
Can you let some one fall for her
    I WANT A LOVE STORY !!!
IF SHE CAN LET SENPAI LOVE HER AT LEAST LET SOME ONE TO LIKE HER
    Please ….
    Thank you 😍😍❤❤
It’s a great game i enjoed playing it

  32.  Clubs functionality:

    – Gaming club:

Remember when someone suggested a manga club where you could easily get access to all kind of mangas without having to wander around the school searching for them? Your answer to this was that you maybe consider it.

Well, you could get rid of the task of thinking where to implement it if you wanted to do it by just combining the gaming club with the manga club, naming it the “Geek club”.

What benefits would the “Geek club” have?

    1. Getting easy access to all mangas without having to search for them on school grounds. When you just join the club, you’ll instantly earn the first volume of each manga’s advantages for free.

You can read the following volumes by participating in club activities (meaning you take the time you’ll take reading those mangas at the end of the day, instead of at night, not having to miss the events that take place at the first hours of the day) or at your house, having a full access to them without having to be collecting from the floor; by player’s choice.

    2. Having access to videogames for Yandere-chan’s console. Instead of just making Yandere-chan automatically own all of the mini-videogames you make, you could make some to be collectibles (just like with the manga) that if you join the “Geeks club” you can earn in the same way you earn the manga volumes (or just make the useful ones impossible to get unless you join the club).

Those videogames could grant Yandere-chan with some advantages like: Better reflections (which could make it easier to fight the martial arts club members and delinquents; just as she learns seduction from a manga, she can learn this from a videogame), better seduction skills (by playing dating/eroge games), sanity decreases slower (by playing horror games), etc.

Yeah, just like with manga, and having an easy access to them at the geek club. You don’t need to be making all those videogames, you could just put a text like with manga and make Yandere-chan earn those stats.

With that you wouldn’t even need to mix the manga club with the videogames club, they could just be videogames that make you earn earn the same as some mangas but with an easier access than those, now that I think well.

I repeat: You don’t have to make all videogames to be playable like Yanvania-senpai of the night, you could just make Yandere-chan play them without being visible to the player, aslo, you couldn’t be able to make them all visible, as you’d have problems with the eroge ones and stuff.

If Yan-chan spends all night playing a videogame, it will happen the same as with mangas, she will arrive 1 hour later to class. While being in this club, she can decide to play them while participating in club activities or at home.

    – Science club:

Apart of that cleaner robot thing (which is pretty useless), the science club could grant you the possibility of taking an electrifier, which could make someone to fall unconscious, so you can put them to sleep without having to level up biology and kidnap them.

    – Art club:

As you suggested in a tweet, apart of being able to be covered in blood with no suspicion, it would be nice if the art club granted you the possibility to draw a portrait of Senpai to restore Yandere-chan’s sanity after comitting murder.

    -Occult club:

Maybe you should make that Demon rituals are only possible if you’re a member of this club, but I’m not sure about this.

    Drugs:

I’ve thought it would be nice if you could:

    – If you have a high chemistry level, make drugs (illegal substances) and let them into a girl’s locker to frame her.

As Yan-chan would have high chemistry skills, she would know where to get some substances from outside the school (without playing that part) and then mix them in the science lab. Then putting them inside a rival’s locker and go tell the teacher you saw [Rival’s name] carrying some drugs and get her arrested; OR put the drugs in a way they will fall once that girl opens her locker and everyone will see she has drugs, lowering her reputation drastically.

If someone sees Yandere-chan carrying drugs, her reputation will decrease too, so she’d have to be careful (While apologizing, she could invent it’s flour or whatever).

If a teacher or Senpai sees Yandere-chan carrying drugs, it will result on an instant game over.

If a delinquent sees Yandere-chan carrying drugs, they will forcefully push her and steal them from her (except if she can confront them). If you are friends with the delinquents then they won’t do anything.

If she’s in cooking club, students and teachers can think it’s flour or sugar, so they won’t care.

    – If you are in gardening club, you gain gardening skills, so you can make one of Yandere-chan’s house’s rooms a marijuana plantation, and bring some to school to frame a girl.

You would have to wait some time til the plants grow up so you can bring them to school. You would have to go to water them and stuff daily or they wither. You would have to spend 1 hour taking care of them every morning, so you will arrive 1 hour later to class. Once you use the marijuana to frame a girl, that day when you go home they would all have withered, and if you want to frame the next rival too you’ll have to repeat the proccess (Or else you would be able to frame the next rival on monday and win the game so easily).

Even if you are in the gardening club, if they see you carrying marijuana, they won’t think it’s anything else and you’ll face the consequences.

Fighting with a martial arts club member:

First of all: While you are part of the Martial Arts club, you shouldn’t insta-win a fight against a Martial Arts club member, it should just be so much easier. Also, this club should grant you the ability to fight a delinquent and a teacher, but I know this just isn’t implemented yet.

Second of all: When there are more than one Martial Arts club members at the same zone when you killed someone, they shouldn’t be coming to fight you one by one like retards, they should all of them come to you and restrain you at the same time, resulting on a game over.

If you have a high physical education level or you’re part of the Martial Arts club and you murder in front of multiple Martial Arts members, multiple struggle minigames will appear, instead on resulting on an instant game over, so there’s a possibility that you win (More Martial Arts club members=more difficulty).

This is an idea to make it so much difficult to go away with murder in front of multiple Martial Arts members, so the player has to be more careful of where does he/she commit murder. Also, I suggest this because it makes no sense that they come one by one to try to restrain you if there are more than one in the place.

Non-gameplay suggestion that can help you to have to read less stupid e-mails:

You could make an announcement that from now, it will be mandatory to put a correct subject when they send an e-mail, otherwise you won’t read them, like:

“When you’re reporting a bug, put in the subject: Bug report- [Short description of the bug] or else I won’t read it.”

“If you want to help me with game development (models, animations, voice-acting…), put in the subject: Development help- [3D modeler/musician/whatever] or I won’t read it.”

    Etc.

(Also, reminding them what to don’t e-mail you with and stuff)

I wasted so much time writing this and it’s not stupid, so I put it here. Don’t care about reponses, I won’t even read them.

  33. Why doesn’t Yandere Dev keep two email accounts?
He leaves this one intact and makes another one which he only shares with his volunteers so that he can finish game builds on time and for leisure can skim through suggestions or questions or artwork or cosplay through his main account? He only needs to tell the address of the account to his volunteers and not the public

  34. Yan dev has already uploaded a bunch of blogs like this but he still gets emails so I’m not sure if uploading more will help but I still support him
