3/16 Edit: Please read this.
I’m sorry that it took so long for this build to become available! I discovered a critical bug, and had to postpone the build until it could be fixed. But now it’s ready!
In a previous video, I introduced the concept of clubs, and described the process of joining clubs and quitting clubs. In the latest build, all club benefits are now functional. In this video, I describe all of the different benefits that are granted to the player by the game’s various clubs.
Scroll down for a formal list of all club benefits and also a list of bug-fixes and additions in the latest build.
Club Benefits
- If the player joins the Cooking Club, they gain the ability to make snacks and feed them to students in order to gain a reputation boost.
- If the player joins the Drama Club, they gain access to silk gloves that will keep their fingerprints off of murder weapons and masks that will hide their identity.
- If the player joins the Occult Club, it will take longer for students to become alarmed when Yandere-chan is armed, bloody, or insane, and her Sanity will drop far less when committing murder, enabling longer kill streaks. (Killing animations are currently not sanity-specific, but one day, they will be).
- If the player joins the Art Club, they gain access to a painter’s smock that will prevent the player from looking suspicious when splattered with blood.
- If the player joins the Light Music Club, they gain access to a cello case that will allow them to transport 6 dismembered body parts and a large weapon discretely.
- If the player joins the Martial Arts Club, they will automatically win all physical confrontations against students.
- If the player joins the Photography Club, they will gain extra functionality for their camera and will not be considered suspicious when photographing students’ faces.
- If the player joins the Science Club, they will gain access to a tiny robot that will clean up pools of blood and bloody footprints.
- If the player joins the Sports Club, they will run faster and will not be considered suspicious when carrying sports equipment.
- If the player joins the Gardening Club, they will not be considered suspicious when carrying gardening tools.
On that note:
- Joining any club will now cause a club-related accessory to appear on Yandere-chan’s head or neck.
- Club members now stop wearing club-related accessories (choker, bandana) when the club closes.
Bug Fixes and Additions
- Replaced two copyrighted tracks with music by The Kira Justice!
- If a real-life band lets me use their tracks in Yandere Simulator, a little “Now Playing” box will appear in the bottom-right corner of the screen when their track starts playing.
- Attempted to fix the bug that would cause Kokona to speak after being killed if she was killed during an event.
- Modified the appearance of the delinquent girls to make them less derivative of previously-existing characters.
- Changed the color of the shadow that falls over Yandere-chan’s face as she loses sanity.
- It is now impossible for blood pools or bloody footprints to appear on staircases.
- Students will now react to the sight of Yandere-chan carrying the Ritual Knife.
- Added two new weapons to the game: the baseball bat and the shovel.
- Added seven new hairstyles for Yandere-chan! These hairstyles were created by the extremely talented Druelbozo!
- The “painter’s smock” character model was added to the game thanks to help from Saracen!
What’s next?
Now that clubs are fully functional (barring any future additions or adjustments) I’m ready to return to my previous task: implementing all rival elimination methods. I’ll aim to implement at least two new ways to eliminate your rivals in the next build!
Thanks for following the development of Yandere Simulator!

If this somehow helps you Yandere Developer, please say so in an update build for your channel or for the website.
One day my teacher was crying at her desk and everyone was confused why she was crying. That’s when I asked her and she said that since she was at her job, her sister’s ashes were sent to her in the mail room for her. When later during lunch period, she went outside to get some fresh air, looking only at the sky, “any ideas running yet?”. I had an idea that there should be a mail room or a mail section at each classroom for students/teachers so students/teachers can have any notes or flyers to take home or read. Now we can with the fairness of Info Chan, sell her 10 panty shots, and tell her to send a fake letter telling someone important has died. Then when teachers have left the area, you can kill the students. But the reason why i explained lunch time is because if you want, you can add it so that teachers with the letter go outside for fresh air and don’t care about surroundings, letting you have the chance to kill her. and let the class “unattended” for the rest of the day, giving you chances to kill students in the classroom.
Hope this will help you and I hope the game is great in 2019
Oh and I forgot, the Gaming Club can be used for gossip during day, doubling the amount of times you can gossip each day, which is once.
The gaming club can also be used to lose sanity so that when you go insane it is less likely for students to notice, because playing violent video games make you violent. Really the video game club can be used to give some benefits to when you lose most of your sanity to quickly regain it or get something extra out of it.
This is total bullshit, Kevin. Does playing YanSim make you want to juggle disembodied kittens’ hads?
My thoughts exactly! I hope he considers this idea 🙂
Maybe there could be added cameras at the school later if you already killed 2 or 3 of your rivals and then you can hack it if you’re in the club
HE already mentioned that it may become a feature later, but the school doesn’t want cameras because they’d rather retain their good looks and reputation.
Can Yanderedev make it anymore clear that he does not want suggestions?!
Até agora não há uma forma de você salvar a reputação?
Love the update and please take all the the you need to make this game what you want it to be. We are all cheering you on and if people are being arse-y, it’s because they are passionate about what you are doing and making. Wishing and everyone reading this a bloody awesome month and a lot of fun! 👊😎👍❤️
Correction: all the time you need
make it harder to join another club after we quit a club, the more we do that the harder it is for us to join
Why should he do that? In real life, jonining clubs wouldn’t do anything to you.
Because it looks bad when you leave or get kicked out of a club. It makes you look untrustworthy and that you’ll likely just leave the club. There are actually schools where if you quit ir get kicked out of a number of clubs you’re no longer allowed to join clubs. So what it could be is that if you quit or get kicked out of about 5 clubs, you can no longer join ANY clubs because they believe you’re untrustworthy and will wind up leaving. This would make things slightly more challenging and offer the need to avoid getting kicked out of the club even more. It also makes it so you have to choose your benefits very carefully. This wouldn’t really increase difficult too much, just the amount of thought. Murder isn’t supposed to be easy anyway.
Hey Yandere-Dev, I have a bunch of friends in bands who might be interested in having their music in your game if you’d like. However, I was curious if you were after a certain type or genre of music? Hope I can be of some help.
You need to e-mail him. Actually, it would be better if your friends did and read the volunteers page.
1. Can we poison the food we make?
2. Um, whether she’s wearing a mask or not the police and still find her finger prints so it shouldn’t matter unless your wearing gloves as well ((He probably already went over this, I couldn’t hear the video very well so sorry if it’s a dumb question that’s already been covered))
Poisoning the food you make and feeding it to that many people would make the game far too easy.
There could be a limited amount of poison.
Maybe only the science club can walk around with poison without looking suspicious. Or maybe you need a high chemistry stat to access the poison. Maybe there will be some sort of chemistry teacher guarding it. Maybe people get suspicious of you after people start dying shortly after eating your food. The idea of poisoning everyone in school has merit.
2 New Killing method next built…eh…Hmmm Cupid? I just had a good idea….if you were to join sports club you have a bat,,,,most likely a bat that looks just as the delinquents wep….-Huge Eyes- If you really hated them comatosing you…why not Comatose! A rival Muahahahahhaha
If corpse disposal in the garden becomes possible, I think it should work via being able to use some sort of grinder for larger organic scrap like dismembered body parts, that exists for the purpose of composting.
Perhaps special carts would exist that would allow you to cart a dismembered body (buried under other organic material, of course,) out of the school and to the grinder, then to the composter.
I can just see burying the body come back to haunt Yandere-chan too easily, realistically.
Yandere dev,Yandere dev! if you’re gonna update a game can you add this on the game.
*Make Yandere Simulator more Realistic
*Add a popular characters in the game LIKE:Naruto Uzumaki (Artist) or Hatsune Miku (Singer)
*Add a Facility in the City/Village LIKE:Manga Shop or Restaurant
*Make a characters that Yandere-Chan can’t kill
That’s all thank you
Adding a Facility in a game is too difficult you can do that in the future
Thank You!/Arigato!
SNAP! i mean “if youre gonna updte the game….” sorry fo that
Thank you for understanding
He probably cannot get access to include the popular people in the game. Copyright and whatnot. He’s trying to get the city done but that’s a low priority. There will probably be a restaurant there if he has help on the town because then, you can sabotage dates with Senpai and maybe even go on some yourself.
i feel like the gaming club could help with finding new ways to kill people because you have to think. yandere-chan is only in high school, she dose’nt know every way possible to kill a human right off the bat… so i was thinking that with the gaming club you could play a certain genera and learn new interesting ways too kill people. like getting a small sharp wire and chocking someone….
btw love the game and will always follow your new build. thank you a lot for this game yandere dev.
YandereDev you could allow us to go back to a club that you exit, like, you have to wait the week end to to so.
I cried when Yanderedev got the glasses on lmao xD
Amazing now I can make the tiny octopus sausages
que bien nueva actualizacion pero ya quiero jugar la del 1 deabril porque ahi vamos a poder matar a las rivales
Someone could please give me the link of the artwork or the artist who made the picture at 6:00?
Thank you :3
why nobody is talking about the Info club, cOME ON
Rule one. We don’t talk about the Info Club.
dear yadere Dev,
last year i download yandere simulator nov. 16 in the next update i download it didn’t work i dont know how to update yandere simulator plssssss help me
Try downloading again. I’ve had the same problem, but then I re-downloaded it and it worked perfectly.
Thx YandereDev !! Now I’m in heaven for the next hours 😀 ❤
Kool!
Yandere simulator is a game i definetly suggest!
I wish there was something for the Gaming club rather than just being display, like hacking or something.
I agree that hacking could be a good benefit for the gaming club (or ‘computer club’ might make more sense in that case, since it isn’t really gaming..). Hacking could allow you to more severely damage a student’s reputation, or something like that..
what if the game clubs purpose was to give the yandere new ideas for killing people? like framing someone by dropping a dead body of a roof into a crud of people and having a detective take a picture. this would also give the player a reason to not just massacre the photography club after they have all the info they need. or better ways to torcher someone so their sanity drops faster. allowing for batter mind slaves that are faster because they haven’t been in captivity for so long. the player could learn complex methods like the bathroom electrocution (which is rilly complex for a schoolgirl)
Hey YandereDev! Love the new update 🙂 I know Midori symbolizes all of the stupid emails you receive constantly, but I have to admit I felt bad for her…Poor girl just wants to have fun with her club. Anyways, amazing work as always~! 🙂
Yandere Dev, Yandere Dev! I would like to report a bug, if you peek into the curtains and look at info-chan, moving the mouse will let you see the note for Kokona , the mysterious tapes and the menu for Yandere-chan’s phone! If you can pls read this comment.
All of the club benefits sound great. There’s a fascinating element of realism to this game combined with a wicked sense of humor and snark. That being said, I feel kinda sorry for the Gaming Club. Given that one of Yandere-chan’s night activities is spreading rumors and gossip to hurt other students, wouldn’t it work to have the Gaming Club members automatically back up her up, even if it’s false?
And I’m hopeful for the Student Council to become more interesting. I hope whatever responsibilities and tasks come with it are at least interesting. Otherwise, it sounds like more of a tedious side-quest heavy option right now than a way to pull off a unique kill method that will leave the player thinking “dang, Yandere-chan is Machiavelli in a skirt” after using it.
I have another bug! If you join the cooking club and you make food while Kokona is making it after school, the jar will fling out of its original place and when Kokona carries the plate, it will levitate! When you try to carry it, it will vanish in thin air!😰😰😰
Well it’s probably because he doesn’t have the two rigged with only being able to have 1 person use it at a time. Yet
I’ve got some suggestions (…If there not planed already)
*crush’s are randomly spread
*you can steal kokona’s clothes while she’s changing -mobbing factor
*you can poison the food youre giving in the cooking club
*adding the Tokyo Ghoul mask in the Drama Club?
*Endless mode (no “deadline” to test out options and longer play-fun even if you’re done with the game)
*gaming club might give you hacking-abilities and easier to invite students home (to play “video games”)
*you said the player might be able to befriend with delinquents if your reputation is
low but it would be more realistic if you also need to be quite strong (fitness)
*if your reputation is low, you’ll get the same effects like everyone else (yep, mobbing)
I’m going to add more suggestions if you don’t mind
and sry for bad english
unless he gets permission from the creator he won’t be adding copyrighted content, since he plans on selling the final version to my recollection.
-Stealing clothes probably won’t be a thing since he doesn’t have the animations for it. But, it may be implemented.
-Poisoning the food you make would be too easy. Plus, people are going to run towards choking people eventually.
-Endless mode is infinite rivals every week from what I’ve read.
Endless Mode is planned, with infinite rivals (every time you destroy one, a new one pops up) and those rivals will be randomly distributed.
Poisoning food in the Cooking Club may be implemented (YandereDev has suggested that we’ll be able to poison Kokona and her friends during the Monday event) but I doubt he’d let us poison a large number of people across the school via the Cooking Club; that would be too easy!
Stealing Kokona’s clothes was supposed to be implemented and was one reason for implementing the option to throw blood or water over her, but YandereDev doesn’t want to do it any more because he would have to redesign the student AI system.
gaming club benefit idea: stats boost at the cost of time, it’s the only part of the game not being trivialized as of this version, playing a reflex game like Osu! could improve yandere’s dexterity, giving a small increase to her physical education. the boosts would be small, like +1 for 2 hours, +2 for 5 hours, +3 for 7 hours. but it would allow expending extra time for finishing up a stat.
While I’m really excited about the possibilities the clubs will provide, I’m also concerned about the balance. It’s like with any game that has skill trees with limited amount of skill points or online games with customizable builds and setups – you’re free to use any skills/items you want, but in reality there’s only a couple of viable options, since most of the talents/items are underpowered or just plain useless.
So, I understand the idea of seeing clubs as a way to make some aspect of the game easier, but it’s way complicated than just this, isn’t it? Some of the clubs are actually giving an opportunity for a unique playstyle and/or elimination method. Like with Occult Club (mass murderer playstyle) or Drama Club (framing elimination method). But others… Well, what I don’t like the most is an Martial Arts Club. How automatically winning confrontations (or just making them easier) can even compare to the other benefits? I mean, who would trade an ability to avoid suspicion from the Photography Club, for example, for not mashing a button for a few seconds? It would be more logical to have an ability to fight teachers after joining it, since I don’t think just investing into Phys.Ed. should be enough. And well, Science and Gardening Clubs are not looking very appealing in their current state either.
Summary: unless some club benefits are re-balanced/re-imagined, it’s most likely that people will only consider a couple of them useful and won’t use other at all. Martial Arts Club looks the least useful out of all clubs.
Of course, that’s just my personal opinion which I’m not forcing in any way. Best of luck to you, Yandere Dev, always looking forward to upcoming updates.
The Science club will be much more exciting once the robot is working correctly. The Gardening club has the circular saw which is useful to walk around with and you may be able to bury bodies there eventually. So it is definitely useful. Martial arts he said he may downgrade the power of Ayano. It will probably be updated a few times but he’s wanting to test on Kokona for a while c:
That’s why I said “in their current state”. Maybe I can agree with you on Martial Arts and Gardening on some points (Science still looks kinda “meh” to me), but still, I think they’re not so great compared to other clubs. At least I would join these 3 only to test them, not for a serious attempt to beat the game. I understand that it will be updated many times before the actual game release, so I just wanted to give some feedback on what I’ve heard in that last video.
plz add osan plz plz plz
Can’t wait to see what you have prepared for the next build Yanderedev. I will definitely get this game as soon as it’s finished. Take your time and I know the game will turn out perfect.
YandereDev! Some popular ideas for the Gaming Club could possibly be: faster reactions in confrontation (through playing games, would help in confrontations – though this would clash with the Martial Arts benefit) or a system by which Yandere-Chan can plant viruses which may: destroy another student’s reputation, read other people’s private conversations if they log onto a school computer and maybe cyber-bullying.
I guess you also see that the martial arts club has some majorly strong benefits – ways to amend this can include: special movies/abilities to be learnt that can temporarily stun teachers and martial arts students, which may also involve a temporary loss of memory- allowing for escape.
Also, I understand that club membership also involves taking part after-school, I think that this can also be expanded – There can be a ‘progress bar’ and eventually Yandere-Chan can challenge a club leader for their position (e.g. a fight against Budo). Like Kill la Kill, I think Yandere-Chan should become a part of the student council only as a club leader. Progress can also mean more effectiveness (e.g. Yander-Chan can make the science robot more fast) so it would help as in the final game I assume that the club membership would be for a long time.
Also, I am really impressed and looking forewards to the characters you have designed for the photography club and science club! They would add some much needed varience and personality in this temporary build, as there is not story backdrop.
I don’t know why this build hates my laptop but I’ve downloaded five times and every single time I get the same corruption with my shared assets file and winrar telling me there’s an ‘unexpected end of archive’ and the game is just pink and then crashes when loaded up. Files are missing, don’t really know what I can really do about it, but eh! This build looks super good so hopefully the next one works for me. Weird, this has never happened before and I’ve been following the development for over a year.
yandere dev yandere dev, if a delinquent is going after you… would that make the delinquent heroic or a delinquent personality .. or when senpai is trying to unmask you… ( i know senpai is not a delinquent, and that personality does not fit him but the heroic one could)
I just imagined how badass it would be if there would be a game mode where Senpai would be a delinquent!
By the way!! That picture of Senpai lifting the mask was the sneak peek everyone got during the stream. Hyped everyone!!
And I personally think Senpai may be a combination of Loner and Heroic. If he’s gonna run up to a masked murderer.. 😛
Does anyone have any idea why i didnt get the streamingassests folder twice? I even re downloaded.
Will clubs eventually require the player to actually participate in club activities (at least once) before they bestow their benefits to Yandere-chan, so players have to plan a day ahead before using the perks of a club.
That’s actually a good idea :O
I thought so. <_<
where is the dol
Não tem como você salvar a reputação?
but how about female senpai
downlode?
Maybe the gaming club could help you with things you do with your hands, like being able to hold two weapons at the same time or removing your clothing faster, maybe this could be more useful for disposing off of evidence?
Maybe it could lessen the killing time by half due to the player’s ability of controlling his/her fingers and hands very well?
It does seem rather ironic that the game dev doesn’t know what benefit a game club could add.
It could perhaps do something like improve accuracy, allow you to use ranged attacks (like throwing bladed melee weapons such as knives), allow Yandere-Chan to react to certain things faster (perhaps it takes longer for students/teachers to notice you doing something wrong as the pink arrows appear onscreen or there’s a “slow down time” feature akin to something like F.E.A.R.), or she might have a higher level of “focus” that could allow her to keep track of certain things about students more easily in Yandere-Vision (like students who have seen her do something suspicious are outlined differently only if you are in the Game Club). Yandere-Dev… do please consider the possibilities here.
Seriously. There is A LOT you could do with the Game Club. Also, we still don’t know what the Info Club does!
I’d also seen some other suggestions elsewhere that held some weight.
“Are we ever going to have a library [with a book club]? If there was Yandere-chan could hold her books like a school girl avoiding any attention if she had a knife hidden in the stack” (Credited to M Fagan)
“Benefit: You won’t get shy around senpai while holding a book” (Credited to Madway)
“I can already see a “no club” challenge in the final game” (Credited to Marcial Mendoza)
“Maybe you could hack the system, and lower rival’s grades. Senpai would never date a bad student…” (Credited to mimikrysia2)
“Well didn’t he talk about the internet being a possible feature for when you get home? Like people posting stuff on message boards and junk, especially if your reputation is low? So there’s this whole cyber bullying aspect to the game as well? Because then maybe the gaming club to give you the benefit to hack into someone’s personal account so you could damage their reputation with posts?
I don’t know, I think of gaming and my first thought is “hack benefits”.” (Credited to Patchwork Crows)
“I thought it could be used to accelerate time or simulate tactics.
Or just for minigames.” (Credited to Madway)
“The gaming club should allow you to access the debug menu when the game is completed.” (Credited to Squidman Boreysza)
“It would be cool if there were benefits to completing the game multiple times a’la Silent Hill (New weapons, endings, easter eggs etc.)” (Credited to mimikrysia2)
I love the new update!! You’re awesome, Devpai!
The gardening club’s other benefit should be to grow poison / sedative fruit to feed to people, circumventing the nurses’ office.
The gaming club could be a way to convince the police you were not committing a crime as you can have a game logged as “playing” in the background whilst you are killing someone, giving you an alibi.
The council could allow you to repeal bans on masks and the erection of fences on the roof if someone ‘commits suicide’.
Yandere Dev, man, you are just amazing. I love this game so much, I look forward to how hard it’s going to get, it’ll be a great challenge. I wish you the best of luck with this, you work so hard and you never let us down in a single update. 🙂
What if the gaming club is actually full of hackers or something else where you can access to the differents activities that each student do. Like when Kokona gets the phone call and those things.
This would be really helpful if the final product has 100 (or more) students
wait, and the sewing club?
……Time to redo all 5 of my skins *cries* But amazing update Yandere Dev!
Like if you cri everytime
Reblogged this on catshby.
I have a good strategy for killing students in yandere simulator !
1.Compliment and say 2 Times bye to the last student who arrived at school.
2.Killing him with the scissors.
3.To avoid the sight of a dead student, put in the incenerator.
4.Put your scissors in the incenerator, don’t activate it.
5.Mop up the blood for any witnesses.
6.Go bath and change and put the uniform in the incenerator and activate it.
7.Laughing! 😀 😉
Or just go on a murderous rampage.
Not sure if I’m the only one who thinks this, but….The delinquent girls look terrible now. They look like Jpop stars now instead of delinquents. I’m sorry, Yandere Dev. I’ve always loved your updates and decisions, but this one with changing the girls was a big “N.O.” for me.
Well, time to go change all the skins I made and change all my usernames. And try to buy a premium membership to change my user on a site. Please, please, please change them back! I can’t take them seriously looking like idols now. I just laugh every time I see them.
I think they look much better honestly… :c
