Edit: I’m uploading the new build right now! Only about 15 minutes to go.

I always try to upload a new build of the game on the 1st and 15th days of every month, right when the clock strikes midnight (in the PST timezone). The next build won’t be ready within 3 hours, but it should be ready within 27 hours!

Before I get back to work, I wanted to share some fan art with you:

    • Just wait the last update was litterley the biggest update in yan sim and we only had to wait 2 extra days. This one will probably add new students since he’s trying to add all club benefits in this update.

      • It’s great that he tries to upload a new build every 15 days, but it’s clearly not enough. He should get himself some more time (16 or 17 days) so that he wouldn’t have to constantly apologise.

    • Just wait !! Imagine there’s going to be a huge update! it’ll be so cool I bet you that you will have tons of fun with it once it comes out, trust me. I have been waiting too, everyone has, but just stay patient and optimistic! at least it isn’t just a bug update (although those ARE important, don’t get me wrong.)

It’s one of only two mistakes your mother did – the other one was having you in the first place. Perhaps when she decided that ‘Well, I’ll just give him anything he wants, maybe then he will shut up. That’s right, not even a motherfucker, because A) Your mother is too good for you. Or anyone else, she’s no whore, and B)Not even a mother could love your face.   2. Lol @ everyone who was “up all night” for the update, try not investing so much into a game only being developed by one guy and some volunteers, only a few of which are paid. I’ve stayed up for the updates before, but only because I was already up, and I never complained if it wasn’t on time.

      • if i were a volunteer, i wouldnt give one fuck if i didnt/dont get paid! id just love to help with the models and voices for the game. (if i had an appropriate voice for a character or proper program for modeling)

  6. It’s pretty sad that there are people who simply can’t wait for the update. You do know that this is a game made by 1 guy and some volunteers right? Like give him a break he probably cuts off on sleep and other important stuff. He also gets a lot of emails if you hadn’t noticed. Anyway take your time yandere dev I know this update will be great.

    • I agree. And especially the fact that it is a debug build, AND NOT A FUN EXPERIENCE, it IS supposed to be played so people CAN REPORT BUGS! Apparently people are excited to do that…

      • I think we (as in the community) have turned it into a fun experience. Of corse the only reason we have access to the debug build is so we can report bugs, but that does’t mean that’s the ONLY thing we can do with it. A lot of people like to fool around with the debug builds. And that’s okay! Of corse, i was disappointed when yandere dev said there wasn’t going to be an update until tomorrow. But i realize that making a game that requires the amount of work yandere dev is putting into it takes time.

I am patient and I understand that you need to take your time and how time consuming game developing is, but the thing what frustrates me a bit is that the build almost never comes on 15th or 1st day of the month and this is not the first time, so i think you owe your impatient fans at least a preview picture. 🙂

    • He did give a sneak peek on March 12th to everyone watching his stream. He wanted to take a day and play the hitman game because it came out. Can’t he take a damn day to enjoy his own life and relax??

    You will notice that the picture he reveals has a picture of 5 girls with MASKS! And the delinquents look like those girls, just with different colored hair and they have no weapons!!! Maybe that picture was a SNEAK PEAK of the delinquents update! Does ANYONE agree with me or WHAT?!

  27. YandereDev is trying to update every 1rst and 15th of the month when he said videos before that he get to a point when it was impossible to update every two weeks and maybe he will change it to an update per month.

  31. Everyone who bitches about the updates being late need to fuck off. The poor man works hard enough. And just because he may have slept in or found some serious bugs doesn’t mean that we need to bother him and bitch about how late he is and how bad it is that he cannot update it the fucking second they want it. How about all those complainers fucking go and try and make a game on his schedule? 4 hours of sleep and 12+ hours of work. Go have fun assholes. Devpai needs to rest. Honestly. And I’m sure when he’s done, he takes a second to look at all of these comments. You know what happens though? If he continues to read things about how slow he is, Dev may become discouraged and start to slow down progress. Or, he’ll be fucking infuriated and refuse to update when everyone pleases. He has specific dates set because if he didn’t no one would know when the hell the build came out. Be glad he fucking posts updates on what is happening. If Dev got sick and could hardly get out of bed, are we going to bitch and complain when he posts saying “Sorry everyone! Build will probably be next month!” Why can’t we just accept the fact that game developing is hard? He promised a huge update this time. All the clubs to be functional. Which may mean new characters. Let’s just lay off of complaining about him and what date he said he would do and just be glad we have this game at all. :/

He never has freetime and is probably sleep deprived half of the time. He does not have to make this fucking awesome game you know he could just do other things but no he decided to make this game because he thought it would be fun. Till he turned it into his job then he still had fun with easter eggs but when you say I have waited for a long time for this build so make it we are making it less fun for him.     • Exactly. Devpai is always sleep deprived I’m sure. Plus this is a huge update and cannot be done in mere seconds. It takes more time. And hell, maybe he found a major bug that was stopping progress on the clubs?? What if one of the clubs wasn’t working right and he was struggling with fixing that bug? Do you want him to push out a new buggy build or one that has been checked for severe bugs and works pretty smoothly?

FFS, he works for 12 hours every day; answers all e-mails (Or emails that he actually requests) and he’s probably the most hard-working person I’ve ever known! In fact, you do know some of your comments and dumb e-mails are the main problems to his late updates? So please – shut up and stop being rude!
