I’ve prepared an update that should fix many of the most-commonly-reported bugs. Head to the Downloads page to grab it! If you’d like to read a list of everything that is fixed in this new build, scroll down beneath this incredibly beautiful illustration by the amazingly talented Marfrey!
Now that you’ve had an opportunity to bask in the glory of an art god, it’s time for a list of fixes!
Fixes and Changes
- Fixed bug that would cause Kokona to perform a sitting animation without a chair if she was waiting somewhere during a point in time when her daily schedule would have caused her to be been sitting.
- Fixed bug that would cause the game to spawn an infinite number of heads if Yandere-chan attempted to dismember an NPC after killing that NPC using a method that did not spill blood.
- Fixed bug that would cause Yandere-chan to permanently register as “standing next to a corpse” after dismembering a corpse.
- Fixed bug that would cause the police to locate blood-stained gloves even if the player had incinerated the gloves.
- Fixed bug that would allow Kokona to open the storage room door when it was meant to be locked.
- Fixed bug that was preventing the “Distract” feature from working properly.
- Fixed bug that would allow the player to laugh while carrying a corpse.
- Fixed bug that would allow the player to dismember tranquilized NPCs.
- The character named “Mai Waifu” now has rainbow-colored eyes. In other words, her eyes now gradually change their color, cycling through every color of the rainbow, every moment of the day.
- Students now have a spoken reaction to witnessing Yandere-chan carrying around a circular saw.

Ahm, it says download up there! Press that download! xP Then in the download page there is a link where you can download the game. That’s all.
you need to download winzip go buy it or get the 40 day trail. then go on this website go to downloads and download through medfire on window or the next one on mac then go to downloads in the folder and click on yandere simulator and unzip then go on to the icon with a love heart and click play.

Many people may think that fixing bugs is less important than adding new features to the game, but they just don’t realize how annoying the bugs can be. Keep going!
Mai Waifu’s eyes changed color now? As a member of the Occult club I must research supernatural things… I wonder if just bringing her head to the clubroom is enough?
What if next update finally introduces demons in occult clubs, to summon which you have to kill someone, dismember, and put her body parts on a pentagram on the floor of occult club and do some fucked up shit and then – Bang! Hands outta floor next time you’re participating in occult club activity, and your reputation slowly raises and falls over time, like +2 to -2 during the day. And as a side effect randomly occult club members will bow to you. Also at times a random person’s corpse will be found in that room, lowering school atmosphere, and, if the Black Sacrament (I like the way it sounds, lol) is performed early in game, say on the first week, resulting in a different ending, where school is overrun by demons. And evil personas are going to follow you sometimes in hopes if seeing you perform demon thing again. And non – occult cowards will enter the ‘shaking knees’ pose around you. And Oka might offer you her leadership band, because you succeeded in where she failed, so you can kill her without losing the bonus (if you’re that heartless). Hell, such ‘feats’ might be introduced for every club leader that is a rival. Not only a rival, too! For Budo, for instance, you’d have to beat those delinquent girls up beacuse they’ve been harassing students. Or kill them, if you swing that way, but in that case he offers his band out of fear, not gratitude, and… Am i going too far now? Sorry. And, BTW, sorry for my bad english, it’s not my first language

Oh, oh, oh, forgot to mention that club bonuses are even more potent if you’re a leader of that club. In cooking club, you can go around the school with a knife, in photography club you can take picture of a rival and someone talking, then kill that someone, take photo of a corpse and police, if no other evidence against you exists, can either arrest or question rival, either eliminating her or lowering her reputation, and you know what to do next. in occult club’s case, no one will pay any attention for doing inappropriate things, like visiting someone else’s classroom, or making pantyshots… The last one is a little OP though…

She said that she will not report a bug, but she think that… *Sighs.* Yep, is a new idea. If you, Alpaca, o somebody else is curious… This time, the idea is for an “easter egg” that transforms Ayano (Yandere-chan) to a virus or “whatever”, so she can infect all the others students.
And yes, I’m Spanish, so I can understand her message word by word without a translator although my English is not the best.
This “easter egg” would be cool, but YandereDev doesn’t want suggestions, so…

Maybe is your winzip or winrar? It can unzip ALL the things, or only “to X MB”?
I think is all the same unless the size…
Well, there is some particular file that causes the glitch.
And I can unzip everything exept from Yandere Sim.

you need to use Winrar version 5.XX to unzip this file
try downloading it again! or re-installing your winzip or winrar. The files aren’t corrupted because everyone else seems to have no problem at all. The other thing i can think of is that maybe your antivirus is blocking the file! Check if that the case and deactivate it for a while

I saw the latest update. Man, you really bring this game to the next level! The dismemberment animation got me chill down the spine. And the body disposing sequence got smoother and soft. Good job!
It would be nice if you put up languages in the game because n can read in English , but in Portuguese and wrote this message for the dictionary in English
He won’t put up more languages until he ends the game because he is changing the words (The reactions, the things Kokona says to unlock the information…). You can wait or learn English/translate the words you don’t understand/whatever you want.
Anyway, the game is not difficult to understand. The videos… Well…
En español (Creo que lo entenderás mejor que el inglés): No añadirá más idiomas hasta que termine el juego porque va cambiando palabras (Frases de los personajes enteras, las cosas que Kokona dice cuando desbloqueas nueva información…). Puedes esperar o aprender inglés/traducir las palabras que no entiendas/lo que sea que prefieras hacer.
De todos modos, el juego no es difícil de entender. Los vídeos… Bueno…

A questão é que ele não pode traduzir o jogo ainda pois muitos diálogos, reações e informações estão incompletas ou ainda vão ser implementadas. Só será possível traduzir quando o jogo estiver 100% completo, e estou considerando me voluntariar para traduzir em PT BR quando estiver pronto. Sinto muito, por enquanto é só em inglês mesmo
Oi Isa! Penso em dublar algum personagem, sou aluna de teatro. Será que Yanderedev vai aceitar até esse ponto ou só vai traduzir os textos?
Então… Não faço idea. Acho que depende de quantas pessoas estariam dispostas a se voluntariar, mas acho difícil ele aceitar dublagem por que é um processo mais complicado. Mas espero que sim, seria bem legal ter o jogo completo em português! É esperar pra ver.

Boruko, thanks for the suggestion! And yes, I will ask permission as soon as the game is released (and if my schedule allows me to translate a game of course). I’d just rather not to bother YandereDev with emails about it at the moment, since it’s impossible to translate the game right now. But I am sure YandereDev will want help from his fans to make an official PT BR translation. I’ll be waiting for that day!

Excuse Yandere dev, but what happened to the students portraits? Instead of showing the normal school uniform it shows the black and red one, and senpai is shown with spiky yellow hair and sunglasses.

By the way, I forgot to mention that the slender mode eyes are messed up, they were supposed to be white along with the face, like in the other build, but now they’re black. I guess that it’s because you changed Yandere-chan’s look when her sanity is low.

Heres hoping for a Easter Egg mod that replaces Sempai with Mai Waifu.
Hearing that intro-demo from before and replacing “sempai” with “My Waifu” is hilarious.
REALLY tho, i find her Presence to be rather funny, and a nice Nod to how ALOT of Anime/Manga fans have Idealized “Waifus”.
You can make her Senpai (she still has a male voice).
Also, “Sempai” is not correct. Yes, it is pronounced like that, but it is still spelled “Senpai.”
If you want Mai Waifu to be SENPAI, go into StreamingAssets folder, then JSON folder, then open “Students.json” with Notepad. Then, change Senpai’s gender to 0, Breast Size to 2, Hairstyle to 13, Color to “Waifu,” Club 12, etc. Everything that Mai Waifu has.

YandereDev stop using mediafire the download speeds r FUCKING SLOWER THEN SHIT! it takes over 2 fucking hours to download the newest builds. and yet i can download a fucking 2GB game from steam in 5 mins, but it takes fucking 2 hours to download a fucking build thats only 600MBs… thats fucking BS
It takes me about 20 minutes to download the latest build. In the past, he has used different sites for downloads, but people kept complaining, kind of like what you are doing now. So be patient and stop whining.

Uh, YandereDev having some issues with Winrar and the StreamingAssets folder.. it’s not appearing.. What’s happening? I’ve tried putting in the February 8th update StreamingAssets to no avail. Since I wasn’t able to download the Feb15th build, I wasn’t able to grab that StreamingAssets. No StreamingAssets = no game to play..
What now?
I had the same problem. try to deleto some things that you don;t need, restart your computer and then try again
Thank you for trying to help, I appreciate it. I apologize for reading this later than I intended to, but I have already found a solution, which was to redownload. I was extremely dumb and I recognized my mistake almost immediately since I keep backups of the student.json and other game files on my desktop. I figured I was just working the files too hard etc etc. Thank you, though.
can you download this game on the xbox 360 or the xbox 1?

I have the same problem, except the fact it’s not fully downloaded, just only 260/430 MB, etc. I tried to download it in another browsers, but still nope :<
My browser is a little silly, so I use JDownloader for the big downloads and it works.

I think a bug is that if you have a mind slave in the game they can “kill” kokona haruka when she’s still tranquilized (BUT KOKONA STILL ALIVE AND ONLY APPEAR THE SOUND AND YOUR MIND SLAVE DIE) and the other i think is NOT A BUG but when you dump a Tranquilized NPC’s, She’s still alive

The last one happens in the rooftop
Well, the infinite spawning heads and bodyparts bug was fun while it lasted. However I didn’t like not being able to move and pick up the heads after causing that bug to happen.
In the february 17th all the Npc’s in the student info appear with the blazzer uniform
Why does Saki Miyu use the circular saw like a knife when offered a shot at killing Kokona? Also, she stabs herself with a blunt side. I mean, she CAN give herself a blunt force trauma with that, but it would take much more hits than just *slam**thud*
He just doesn’t have the animation for a mind slave with the circular saw yet. Just be patient.

Can anyone tranquilize a girl now? I’ve tried it on several different occasions and they just die (I AM using the needle and tranq). Just wanna make sure it’s not just my game but others too.
Nvm! I got it now. But I tranqed Kokona, then I gave a weapon to mind slave Saki (this was during lunchtime). Saki got to the tranq room and they started having their conversation about domestic abuse. Saki then killed Kokona, and herself. Then I went to class, but the police came, and then they concluded that a murder suicide took place, but they also got Kokona out of the box and she said she didn’t recall how she got there, and the next day she was alive! Pretty hilarious, should I send this as a bug report?

I’ve been using 7Zip to try to open the file but it wouldn’t work for the February 15 or 17th updates. It tries to extract the files but then says that it cannot save to archive. It’s obviously only my computer but does anyone have any solutions?

Every time I get rid of everything including the gloves, the clothes, the corpse, the weapon, etc, etc. It keeps saying they find DNA on my clothes. Even when I change it???
Personally I can’t wait till Yandere Simulator becomes “real stealth game”. Of course easter eggs and silly/magical little things are funny, but at this point the game is a bit boring. But oh boy, wait till the game finally gets to the point where Yandere Dev will be able to program the stealth game features and actually give us a reason to, for example, dismember Yan-chans victims. Then the fun will truly begin.

It’s cool that Mai Waifu has eyes that change color, but one stays grey whenever she’s in the basement. Also, her hair looks choppy at the ends. Just thought I’d throw that out there.
I don’t know when you updated the student ID’s to have the uniforms identical to the ones you choose at the start of the game, but it’s great. Also, Senpai’s ID photo looks weird, and not at all what I customized him to be.
As I said before, I love it. I absolutely love it. One request, though? Please make it so that we can collect the heads as trophies. Pretty please? I’d love to make use of those shelves in the basement. And maybe let us be able to organize them how we want, like in the order we killed them, in the colors of the rainbow, most liked to most hated, or just random? Pretty please with Senpai’s heart on top? :3
for some reason when I saw that picture, I just thought, In The Crocodile Hunter’s Voice, “Here we have a Yandere in her natural habitat, stalking her prey. Fiercely dedicated to the hunt in order to protect her mate, The Dedicated Yandere will track down and hunt all potential rivals for her mate’s attention.”

i’m kinda sad now that i won’t be able to download the infinite heads / laugh w corpse / dismember a sleeping student version. those seemed like neat glitches to me. also, dismembering a sleeping student seems like a cool way to kill a student. not just regular murder, but PAINFUL murder!
I’m kind of curious as to how yandere-chan can run faster/at the same speed while holding a dead body.
The Dev said that yandere-chan weighs about 95 pounds, so unless she’s been a bodybuilder all her life I dont see how it’s possible xD
