Happy New Year, everyone!
This gorgeous illustration from Noxina gives me an idea. I bet the sound of exploding fireworks could be used to mask a dying schoolgirl’s screams!
But enough about that; watch this YouTube video about the latest feature in Yandere Simulator: Clubs!
Clubs aren’t the only thing that’s new in this update. Here’s a full list of everything in this new build:
Bug Fixes
- Fixed some incorrect text that would display during the End-Of-Day / Police Investigation text while the police were investigating a murder-suicide.
- Fixed bug that would prevent a mind-broken slave from killing her victim unless the victim had stopped moving.
- Fixed bug that would cause dead students to emit hearts from their heads while dead.
- Fixed bug that would cause some “Student Info” portraits to be inaccurate.
- Fixed skirt clipping and eyebrow deformation in the Cirno easter egg.
- Fixed some more typos in the End-Of-Day / Police Investigation text.
Additions
- Added 6 new hairstyles and 3 new accessories for Yandere-chan, and also two new hairstyles for Senpai-kun. These hairstyles and accessories were commissioned by fans of the game, and modeled by Druelbozo!
- Added a special sequence somewhere inside of the school building.
- Added a tool shed with a new weapon inside of it.
- Added a hedge maze to the school grounds.
- Added more props to the Occult Club room.
- Added props in the Student Council room.
- Added a garden for the Gardening Club.
- Added 10 new collectible manga books.
- Added two new easter egg modes.
- Added props to the Art Room.
- Added 5 new students.
Changes
- A student who witnesses Yandere-chan commit murder will now refuse to speak to Yandere-chan in the future, and will damage Yandere-chan’s reputation on all subsequent days…until they die.
- Replaced the copyrighted song that played during the “Sukeban” easter egg with original music.
- Replaced the old small town test environment with a new small town test environment.
- Examining the cheese now causes something to happen somewhere else in the school.
- Changed the year that the game takes place in.
Clubs
- Club Leaders now wear a “Red Armband of Leadership” on their left arms.
- Some clubmembers will now enter a changing booth and change their clothing before engaging in a club activity. This was only possible because of help from Saracen!
- If the player speaks to a Club Leader who is in their clubroom, club-specific dialogue options will appear.
- The player can ask a Club Leader for information about their club, ask to join the club, ask to quit the club, or ask to participate in club activities.
- If the player asks to participate in club activities between 5:00 and 5:30, they will be shown a scene that features Yandere-chan participating in the club’s activity, and the day will end.
- If the player reduces the number of students in a club to less than 5, that club will disband. The club members’ daily schedules will change, their appearances may change, and the doors to the clubroom will be locked.
- If a clubmember witnesses Yandere-chan commit murder, but Yandere-chan is not arrested for murder, that student will warn the club’s leader about Yandere-chan, and Yandere-chan will be kicked out of that club, or disallowed from joining that job in the future.
- If the player murders the leader of a club, that club will disband.
- If the player quits a club, they won’t be allowed to re-join.
- If the player takes an action that would result in a club disbanding (such as reducing the number of students to less than 5, getting kicked out of the club when the club only had 4 other members besides the player, or murdering the club leader) then the player will be shown a message at the end of the day in which Yandere-chan is informed that she has been kicked out of the club.
The Future of Yandere Simulator
I didn’t expect Yandere Simulator’s development to last this long. I think that this is a good time to make a video announcing how many features remain, how long it will take to implement those features, how I plan to carry out the rest of the game’s development, how I plan to secure funding, and how people can help me out.

In the previous blog post, somebody suggested that I should begin using adf.ly to link to the latest build of Yandere Simulator.
In short, if I began using adf.ly, you would see an advertisement for 5 seconds, and then you would be able to download the game. I would get paid when you view the advertisement.
Making the user watch an advertisement for 5 seconds sounds harmless enough, right? So, I decided to test out adf.ly …but there was a problem!
Adf.ly “advertisements” actually display giant buttons that say “DOWNLOAD” and take you to sketchy websites. Anyone who sees an adf.ly “advertisement” might think they are looking at the download button Yandere Simulator. Ugh! That’s so dishonest!
I can easily imagine thousands of people falling for adf.ly’s trick and clicking the giant “DOWNLOAD” button instead of skipping the advertisement and heading to Yandere Simulator’s latest build.
After learning this, I decided not to use adf.ly. I’m very disappointed by their dishonesty.
I would love to start making profit off of Yandere Simulator somehow, but not if it means showing people a giant fake “DOWNLOAD” button that takes them somewhere else.
Are there any services that are similar to adf.ly, but don’t show users giant fake DOWNLOAD buttons?

Doesn’t YouTube pay for the amount of views a channel gets? I don’t know how the YouTube paying system works but having lots of views on a channel can make money (according to my knowledge). Plus, most ads on YouTube lasts for 5 seconds.

Your download might be corrupted. Try downloading new version again. It usually helps.
If the re-download doesn’t work, it may help to try downloading from a different browser as well. Worked for me when my download was corrupt.

It’s a girl just below the fountain. If you crouch you can clip your camera through the floor just enough to see her. He probably thought we wouldn’t notice if he shoved her in the ground LOL

He’s talking about dismemberment. In one of the REALLY early build it had that function
YandereDev I just have to say you are the most considerate game developer in existence. It truly says something about your character to favor honesty and ease of access for the players over funding that would help you develop the game. You’re even so humble that directly asking for funding, which I’m sure many developers would do if they were in your position, hasn’t been an option for you. I hope that whichever way you handle the situation, you will be met with the generosity and assistance you need.

Almost all the occult members have something going on with their right eye…there’s a light in the right side of the skull too…hmm what if you had to do some kind of ritual with your eyes to enter the club? I wish I had someone in real life to discuss these things with!!!
Reminds me of Ciel Phantomhive’s right eye: He has a pentagram on it… Also: Am I the only one who thought when Oka Ruto said “You have a dark aura around you… I can’t let you join because youmight bring evil spirits here…”, Hey honey: You have pentagram right behind you… And your standing on a giant one right now… You really think that (I) am going to bring evil spirits? Look around dear, this PLACE is evil… Why does a school have a cult based club anyway? Seems fishy to me… Also: When Oka opened her mouth for the first time, I just wanted to give her a hug! I thought she was adorable to begin with, but that voice and stutter adds a HOLE new cutness to her! *Gives Oka a hug* There you go!
Yesss Oka and Ciel are both my babies~! I felt so bad when I left the occult club to check out the martial arts one, she said “that’s to be expected” I wanted to hug her :3. And yes, I very much feel like the school is corrupted. Covering up murders, allowing occult clubs, and that guidance counselor just looks fishy to me. I think the occult kids are so fucking adorable because of their grumpy/sad faces~ >:c
The light in the skull is an “Easter egg” – it’s an Undertale reference and appears only if you examine the cheese (also an Undertale reference.) But … one of the horror manga that you can collect in the maze in order to lose sanity more slowly (i.e. the same benefit the Occult Club provides) is about “A young woman whose right eye is stolen by an evil spirit.”
I wonder if the eye thing is some kind of creepy initiation ritual – hence why Oka and the vice-president are the only ones with two eyes? Or if some of the club members did once manage to summon a demon? Maybe Oka was suspended from school over this which is why she will be absent at the start of the full game?
Do student who are part of a club also have the benefits you get from that club ?
I hope so. It wouldn’t make sense if we were the only ones in a club to get it’s benefits, haha~

When I talk to a student it is available “apologize” without accomplishing any action annoying. Proceed with “apologize” and Yandere-chan says “Can I talk to for a moment?”. And although I have already done the action is always available
