Hello! I’m still hard at work on the next Yandere Simulator update. I’m probably going to work on it throughout the rest of December so that when I finally post it on January 1st, it’s as polished as it can be.
In the meantime, I have a short comic to share with you!
Some of you may remember a tweet from several months ago which contained a short story that was meant to demonstrate the fact that there’s no boundary Yandere-chan wouldn’t cross to protect Senpai.
That short story has now been illustrated by an artist with the pen-name of Achromatic, and I feel that it’s worth sharing with you!
Remember to read from right to left, since that’s how manga are printed.

In any event, I’m sorry that the next build still isn’t ready yet. However, there is some good news: I have something special planned for Christmas! I really hope that you will enjoy it!

even though i’m a cats guy, i still can easily say “well done Yandere Chan” feelings of empathy are for the weak only the true passion is the only true weapon!

after thinking.. “couldn’t you just say Senpai’s only allergy is dogs?” or are you a dog’s / puppies’ lover? because seeing a dog’s neck snap then getting thrown out into the cold hell is much more pleasing to my eyes
You might actually be right in a way. If Info-chan really is the Cassette Tape Journalist’s daughter, then perhaps Info-chan is actively misleading Yandere-chan as a form of subtle torture, slowly dismantling her own world. Info-chan gives Yandere-chan enough hot tips about love rivals to become a trusted source, so when she starts slipping in fake information amongst the gossip Yandere-chan doesn’t question it. Info-chan knows that Yandere-chan’s actually quite fond of her cat (as it sits happily on her lap here), so she lies about Senpai’s ‘allergy’ to force Yandere-chan to hurt herself by killing it.
now that you did mention it… according to the very start of Yandere Simulator story line ” very first couple of videos” when we see the story info chan knows all about the incident in the previous time and she is the one that actually encourages Yandere Chan to kill Osana! however as we all know we have no idea how “truthful” info chan’s information are! she does claim she knows everything but that doesn’t need to be true! maybe she was just spying on Yandere Chan and wanted to test her if she would truly kill her little kitten or keep it alive, but Yandere Chan can trigger her insane side at any given moment anything threatens her chance with senpai “as if he has a choice in the matter to begin with it!” i swear you do have a nice theory! besdies if info chan indeed knows EVERYTHING that gives us another possibility! what and just what if actually info chan is forcing yandere chan to do all this killing only so that she can GATHER all the evidences of Yandere Chan’s insanity from killing to animal abuse etc so that once all her rivals are killed she black mails Yandere chan herself telling her she knows everything, and threatens her that she WILL ACTUALLY share all this evidence with the mysterious journalist which mostly IS Yandere Chan’s OWN FATHER, to make her forcefully to be EXECUTED for all her crimes, and then info chan can easily confess to Senpai easily without any more Yandere problems?! that as a theory is quite possible! a TROJAN HORSE tactic! first info chan forces Yandere by mind manipulating “before hand Yandere wasn’t going to kill anyone according to the very start of the story until info chan convinced her” then she fills this “TROJAN HORSE” with evidence and black mails Yandere Chan to leave Senpai alone unless she wants to be revealed and out of the blue just for the hell of it she actually reveals everything, so that Yandere Chan can get executed and info chan can end up with senpai only so that she can use him as a bait to capture the next Yandere girl and so on until she kills every last Yandere girl so that history doesn’t repeat itself anymore! as a theory this is one hell of a convincing one! besides i know Yandere Dev doesn’t like suggestions but please take this as a request:

But… you have to remember, Yandere-chan CAN’T hurt herself. She cannot feel emotions… She has no problem with murdering the kitten, because she is most likely a sociopath, or has some other disorder of which she cannot feel empathy, joy, etc. She says in the intro that Senpai had TAUGHT her an emotion: A strong desire. And, Osana, (if I’m correct) also taught her an emotion: Anger. Also, I’m sorry that I’m raining on your parade, I actually think your theory is very unique and interesting. 🙂 You are a very creative person, and (I have to say this, because, on a study that I just made up, 98% of people, have terrible grammar,) you have great grammar! Jackmarten, I like your theory, but the intro the Yandere Sim that you are talking about is outdated, and YanDev said he wasn’t going to use it, because it doesn’t correctly represent Yandere-chan’s personality. It doesn’t show her to be much of a Yandere… Does it? She is questioning a method of getting rid of someone in between her and her Senpai’s love! No Yandere would do that. Wow, I’m just raining on everyone’s parade, today. First, Immeril, and now, Jackmarten… But really, that’s a Hell of a theory. Wow! That’s the most creative one I’ve seen! Merry Christmas! (If you even celebrate Christmas, and if you don’t, happy whatever holiday you celebrate, if you do at all! Happy New Year!) 🙂

I like the concept, but I think that it would have been better if the three-panel sequence of the cat’s body being tossed out of the window was removed – it’s more chilling and frightening if it’s crawling around the edges of the panel gutter, showing it defeats the point of the off-panel kill in the first place, and to not show it better suits the fact that Yandere-chan is staring straight ahead with a poker face. On a positive note, the panel beat before she wrings the cat’s neck is a good one – it wasn’t robotically automatic, she thought about destroying her beloved pet for a moment before going through with it… what self-sacrifice! Yandere-chan is truly selfless and good, or at least so she sees it.
Still, it’s always cool to see new content so thanks to the artist for taking the time to make it. You all have a Merry Christmas.

I find this brilliant but also cried because I’m a hardcore animal lover. It would be interesting though to have something in the game that senpai is allergic to so Yandere chan must get rid of it whether it’s can animal or something else that she loves second to senpai.

I’d suggest getting a comic about how many emails people send you, but that probably wouldn’t stop the onslaught of Midori-Chan’s legion (that’s what I keep seeing people refer to the people who email you as in the comments).
Take as long as you like for the next build, as long as the occult club does something, I’ll be happy. But when you release the build, don’t tell us what it does so we can figure it out ourselves. It would also be cool if we had such a cat in the game, just saying. Someone should model one and give it to Yanderedev. Maybe the black cat could only be killed in the occult club, which could possibly trigger an event…

Remember, Yandere-chan is a psychopath. She feels no emotions, and she doesn’t have the capacity for remorse. The only thing she feels is love for Senpai and rage for anyone that gets in the way.
So whilst you may be sad, it’s not like Yandere-chan could give a bigger shit.

– If Yandere-Chan have a cat, she could leave cat hair when commiting a murder and the police found cat hair in the scene, and when the police questions Yandere-Chan they see she have cat hair in hes clothes. So you would have to clean the scene more carefully. (And I think she would get rid of her cat anyways so she is not arrested.) Or she could spread cat hair on other peoples clothes.

Some of the whiny kids in the comments make me wonder if we have a load of little psychopaths on our hands. You giggle and cheer at people dying in a game, but when a cat dies in a comic you brats start having a meltdown.

Yes, it is ‘just a game’. But this comic strip is also ‘just a comic strip’.
Do you REALLY need to shun the developer and artist because they ‘made you sad’? If this brings up something in the past… don’t you think murdering people in games might bring up someone else’s past too? Being bullied? Abused? No-one’s complaining about the depiction of murder, bullying or torture of another human being.
If this kind of stuff makes you sad, but playing a game where you kill people for selfish desires DOESN’T, that’s not a good sign about your mental health.

There will most likely be an age rating on this game when it will be sold anyway, so stop complaining that a furry creature died in a comic if you can’t see a problem with people from your own species dying in a game.
