I usually upload a new video and a new build on the 1st and 15th day of every month, right when the clock strikes midnight and the date switches to the 1st or the 15th (in my timezone, which is PST). However, the next video won’t be ready within the next 6 hours. I need somewhere between 24 and 30 more hours to prepare the next update video.

Dev, seriously, stop putting out builds as if they were updates for a game. The very fact that you are putting out these builds out is already enough. We find bugs to help you make the game, and YouTubers help hype and promote the game.

1. A Day full of hard and demanding work
2. Less to no time free
3. Only 1 break for the whole day, not every hour 5 mins (i wish…)

5. Eat something….. I even have to cook it, also time wasted

What a selfish brat. YOU have waited 12 oh-so-long days, whereas the rest of us had the backbone to give YandereDev time to perfect his creation without putting unneeded pressure on him.
Like Jiyuria-chan said, he is busier than he looks. Busier than your impatient ass ever will be. And for you to reply “he wants to make a game and that is his work am I right?” just goes to show why he makes his ‘whiny’ blog posts, and why people like me aren’t going to bother trying to be ‘courteous’ replying.
He IS making a game. A huge game, for that matter. He has around 10 more complex elimination methods to code, more than 20 rooms to fully furnish in the game, a huge open world outside school that fans have voted for (that he may have not wanted to do, given the enormous task), dozens of new weapons, has to make 3 new game modes from scratch, has a daily struggle with volunteers and on top of all that he has hundreds of bug reports amongst thousands of useless emails he has to check for useful ones. And I haven’t exaggerated a SINGLE one of these points – there are undoubtedly many, many more things than I have listed.
The Dev isn’t receiving the promised amount of donations through Patreon – last time it was about $4,500 yet he only got $3,700. Seems like a small amount dropped, but that could have possibly covered the cost of tens of valuable volunteers/a fair few industrial animators. Which, by the way, would have sped up the game’s development by at the most a year. And that again might seem puny to Neanderthal brains, but is a huge step forward. And perhaps YandereDev would have made this update come out quicker for people like you.
Go check his previous blog posts. He’s already worried about taking too long; he’s apologised countless times. He’s already had to take breaks and delay updates due to exhaustion. He’s lost his previous passion for Yandere Simulator because of this. And then there’s the recent controversy about people taking his words the wrong way, in which he had to waste MORE time explaining himself (although let’s be honest, it did sound slightly off-putting).
Give the guy a break. He’s creating something that means a lot to him, whilst trying to cater to thousands of players waiting to try out the game. If you want him to do a sloppy job with shit quality just so your impatience is fulfilled, you’re pestering the wrong Dev.

Yandere-Dev works A LOT to make these updates for us. 15 Days is a very short time to make them. He has to work day and night with very little sleep so he can upload the game and so everyone can tell him about it and so he can make it better. You aren’t the only one who waited for this and I’m sure you can wait just a few more hours for the update. It’s incredibly hard to do what he is doing and he’s doing his best to keep up.
Keep in mind that while the game is being put up bi-weekly for you entertainment, it’s also so he can find bugs and fix them.
It’s best to support Yandere-Dev with all of this instead of being selfish and telling him to hurry when he is already working his hardest.

Devpai, one of the main reason of why I think that Yandere Simulator is an awesome game is that you are alone for coding it, and even with volunteers you still have to deal with everything, such as the youtube channel, the blog and all this stuff, and you still can handle everything in time (or almost,but a delay from some hours isnt really one isnt it ? ). I just dont get it haha !
Also that pisses me off to see all theses guys that dont give a fuck about how much time you spend in the game, and that seems to think that Yandere Simulator is made by a giant firm with thousands of employees… That doesnt matter if you need more time, dont ruin your health just for make it in time. It’s sad when I get so excited when I see a new post from YandereDev, even if it’s a “sorry for the delay” post. I guess it’s because of the fact that he’s always thinking of his fanbase/potential future customers and always wants to keeps us in the loop no matter how big or small of an update he has cooking up or if there are real life issues that spring up that could impact deadlines.
With that said, it’s also really sad and pathetic how some folks are harping on the delay of the new update. If you’re THAT upset that it wasn’t uploaded at 12 am on the dot, then you either need to grow up or you don’t have much of a life since I noticed some folks went as far as to post the number of days since the last update. News flash: EVERYONE else has been waiting just as long too – you’re no one special. And I get that it’s disappointing when something you’ve anxiously waited for is delayed for a bit, but either you forget that with the exception of some volunteers, YandereDev is working on this game by himself, or you think YandereDev’s a magician of some sort that can just snap his fingers and conjure up new game material in seconds. I can’t even begin to fathom the sort of knowledge, let alone effort it takes to make a game of this quality, and I rather he not burn himself out and work out as many kinks as possible before release rather than crank other update after update with a ridiculous amount of bugs or game-breaking features and get so fed up with the game that he abandons the project altogether.

I want the update to be awesome too, and I’m willing to wait, its just I was a little disappointed a little because the original update was supposed to be December 10th. I understand that games can take a long time to code and debug, because I’ve made a game before, so I understand that.
