I usually post a new build or YouTube video right when the clock strikes midnight (in my time zone, at least). However, that’s not going to be possible this time.
Several obstacles popped up today that impeded my ability to make progress in a timely fashion. I can’t prepare a new build or edit a video with the time that remains in the night, and I’m too tired to stay awake for much longer. I need to stop for the night and continue tomorrow.
In an attempt to make up for the disappointment, here’s a sneak peek at some of the video clips that will be appearing in the next update video:
I think that the next update video should probably be ready sometime within 24 hours from now.

You sound like you’re interested in the game – nonetheless you’re contradicting yourself.
I’m going to be honest and tell you that if YandereDev did infact rush the game so everyone would see a release sooner – that would create a lot of bugs, rushed work, unfinished sections and would just be unappealing.
The whole motive of month long or half long releases is to create enough time to make IMPORTANT changes and additions.
You’re contradicting yourself by telling him it’s an ”Awesome” game but asking him to rush it – because then it won’t be awesome and YandereDev said very clearly that he works endless nights trying to make other people happy and if you push him further with that – I’m confident that he’d stop creating Yandere Simulator for the SOUL PURPOSE that he wants to enjoy making the game!
Who would enjoy creating something that someone would openly insult you just so you’d release it earlier?
If you want a game like Yandere Simulator and have releases constantly everyday – go grab yourself a copy of Unity from their website and create the game yourself.
PS – If YandereDev didn’t sleep – the game would stop being updated since that would most likely hospitalize him or even worse – He’d die from lack of sleep and recovery.

That’s a little too harsh. By no means do I support what they said, in fact I strongly disagree, but saying they’re better off dead is taking it too far. Being more supportive and understanding is usually more affective when asking people to change, dude. People aren’t very receptive to when you say stuff like that.

I understand that you may be frustrated that the game’s development is not moving along as fast as you want it to, but please be rational about this. He and small team of volunteers are producing this game UNPAID with limited time and resources. Many of the volunteers may have little to none professional experience. Everyone works at a different pace and coordinating with others can be hard. You can have an opinion, but these kinds of comments are very discouraging to developers and content creators alike. I do not mean to insult you or anything like that, I only wish for you to reconsider and perhaps think about how your words might affect others.

I’m confused, I must have a different time zone than everyone else here because as I write this it is 2:47pm for me and it is still December 1st, so I’m a little confused as to when the update should be coming out. I live in the US eastern time, someone help me understand Dx
YandereDev lives in California, so he usually post new updates after clock counts new day. But this time he couldn’t make that, so he postpone update up to 24 hours minus/plus. 😛
I live in Colorado and was born in Arizona, so I’m pretty close to where he is!

Is the kitchen for the cooking club? (YandereDev said that he didn’t have time to implement clubs and they’ll be in the December 15th build … but he may have implemented just the cooking club for now, for the sake of introducing a new elimination method)
I think the new elimination method is framing another student! That’s why Yandere-chan would wear gloves (hence “police”, “alibi”, and “gloves”) or maybe getting them expelled from school by making them look like a thief (hence the above + “stealing”?)
I’m most excited about the Occult Club, but I also can’t wait for the Cooking Club and the Alibi and being able to drop items!!! Great Job YandereDev!!! I’m so glad you made this game, now I’m hooked on this game like a leech, of course I still sleep and do school and eat but all the time I have left in my day after school is for Yandere Simulator!!! YandereDev, I think this is the best game that I have ever played and it’s just gonna get better!!!
